BlackBerry smartphones impossible to reinstall an application not installed

Recently bought a new bberry and downloaded/installed the bridge but icon app bberr was not be found even if subsequent attempts to download said that is installed. Other users with the same problem uninstalled the app and then reinstalled. I uninstalled the app to bridge successfully, but to try to reinstall App world would not allow it - note (under the icon) it is uninstalled. What gives?

If you are in App World, go to My World, press the menu key, then select Refresh (or refresh the list).  You should then be able to download again.

Let us know if that helps you.

I really send an SOS to you all, but right now I need help.  I've just returned from a seven-month deployment and was not able to use my new 2 "BOLD" for the duration of my output.  I forgot my answer to the question on my security question and impossible to reset my password.  Who should I contact to get a discount to re-set for my account?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

If you are referring to the security password to unlock your device, you will not be able to recover it or changed it. You will have 10 attempts to open it and then our device will perform a security wipe.

If you are referring to your selection of the site password BIS forgotten password. You will receive a PIN message with your password.

If your device does not work, use the attached link to get all the necessary information and then call your operator.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones paid for Beepus app, will not install, can anyone help please?

    Hello

I have a BB Curve 8520 and remember to have Beepus when it first came out and it was free. After awhile, I deleted the application. A year or two later, I want go back once again and now it costs money. OK this is great no problem, so I paid money for the app and it took me my file uninstalled my app World and began to re - install. However it keeps failing and I have no idea why and what to do about this.

This is the second time I paid for an application now and he has not installed, I have the first release but do not see why I should pay for an app that installs not on my blackberry. He has been before, so I don't know what the problem is. Has anyone else had problems with this?

  • BlackBerry smartphones impossible to reinstall the Facebook application - help?

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help! I have BB Curve and upgraded to the new Facebook application including cat about 3 weeks - so far it has been important. Today, I tried to upload a photo and it froze completely during the download. I rebooted, BB was going well, but F/B app - restarted once more, still no change still frozen. In desperation, I went in the App World and uninstalled the app. I've now returned to my uninstalled apps, Facebook located, but there is no icon "Resettlement" to put to the top critics of the app I checked, half a dozen other users have also had the same question. Anyone know how I can reinstall? I checked my other uninstalled applications and they all have a button labeled 'reinstall' except F/B. Is it lost forever?
    Thank you
    Lou

I can't guarantee results with this method, but first go and make sure that your facebook app has indeed disappeared.  Then, the type of phone in www.blackberry.com/facebook browser and try to download from there.

  • BlackBerry 8310 Smartphones: Impossible to reinstall the applications.

    Hello

I was the proud owner of a BB 8310 for 10 days and am now the proud owner of a useless piece of modern art...

Everything was fine until I connected on the BB site and tried to update the software.

First, I downloaded the latest version of the Desktop software, then connected my phone to my computer and started the process of updating. Everything was fine so I went to the legendary coffee and when I came back found a message telling me that the connection was lost, I want to try again? Yes of course. And then everything started going downhill.

Received the error app 200, the hourglass for hours.

So to make a long story short, I tried to reload everything using the trick where you connect the BB without the battery. Well, he works to the charge process request where the Red led goes and I get the message that the connection has been lost. Try again? Yes. Wait he reconnects (hourglass goes round and round), reconnected... re - unplug and restart to load the applications.

I noticed that the disconnection does not occur during the loading of any specific application but more or less randomly.

OK, so after several attempts I cancelled the process and got this error message: fatal error, unspecified error [J:0 x 00000005]

I tried on a PC with Windows 7 with Windows XP and even on a Mac.

    Still with me?

Well, someone has an idea of what's going on? Y at - it a bug in my phone in the desktop application or downloaded applications?

    Beats me.

    Thank you

    Jean-Luc

You will need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and then load the operating system on the device. Follow the instructions here:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_wipe_the_BlackBerry_using_Jl_Cmder%3F

If JL_Cmder does not work, follow this instruction:

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones clear an application not installed

With the help of a Storm 9530. I downloaded Google Maps. The first screen asking to allow or deny access to the index. In addition, it has a check box for "Do not ask again". Well... I was told that if you do not use the Locator, Google maps use coordinated round so I chose Deny and I checked "Don't ask again". There is no warning that Google Maps will not work without any clue on... and since I checked do not ask again, when I try to launch it, I get a popup saying that the application cannot turn since the Locator is off. The application then terminates.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it reacts the same. Apparently, though even it uninstall, there must be a type registry setting that holds the info so I can't have the cards to run.

Someone know how to purge an application not installed?

usually with Google Apps for BlackBerry, you will need to restart your device (battery pull). Did you that between the installation and uninstallation of the application?

    In addition, generally you can:
    (1) open the BlackBerry Maps application
    (2) acquire satellites
    (3) launching Google Maps

and then Google Maps will be able to retrieve the satellite connection.

you shouldn't have to do steps 1 and 2 (Google has published a patch just for that), but that's what I have to do to activate MyLocation in Google Maps on my 9530.

Hello and welcome to the community!

From what you describe, there is a COMPUTER on your BB policy which is demanding both encryption and a password for the device-lock. If you are currently on the BES, then STOP NOW and see your BES admins they control it.

If you are not on BES, somehow your BB has a COMPUTING policy... the cause maybe it was once associated with BES, but not properly deleted when the property was transferred to you. If all goes well, there will be other problems that often comes with "2nd hand" situations. In any case, you can check this:

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

Even if does not appear as described, from what you have described, there is probably a COMPUTER policy that is causing this (some may be "hidden"). To remove it, first make sure you have a good backup of your BB... See the link in my sig auto on this post for instructions. Then do this:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Thereafter, your BB will be as new... you need to re - install your applications and restore your data (according to the backup you took my instructions above). BUT - when you restore data, DO NOT make a full restore... rather, only restore these databases you need (e.g., Contacts, calendar, Messages, etc.) and more precisely to avoid those who have nothing to do with the COMPUTER policy, company or similar things... If you restore, you will be right where you started.

Good luck and let us know!

  • AIR 4.0 beta (Android) "Application not installed".

    Hi people,

I need to update a new Android in support of 4.4 KitKat app, but when I got the software with the latest version of the SDK, it refuses to install on a device for development. I tried two devices and they both display the message "Application not installed" after clicking on the button "install". The permissions list and the icon appears as expected, and the application compiles without error.

I used a similar Manifesto (with the exception of updating the namespace of the application and the version) and adt command that previously worked fine in the latest version of the sdk that I used, AIR 3.0. I tried targeting "apk" and "apk-captive-runtime. I tried to install an apk compiled from the command line and also tried install the apk directly from the published Flash Pro IDE to USB debugging mode output. I created a new p12 file and tried to use, has not yet.

Here is the command I used:

    ADT-package - target apk-captive-DURATION - stores pkcs12 - keystore "dev.p12" - storepass base 'pocketpenguins.apk' ' pocketpenguins-app - android.xml ""pocketpenguins.swf ".

    The manifesto is below.

Yet once the application compiles without error in all cases, it just will not install on test devices. Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Greg

For some reason, I can't install application compiled and packaged with 3.7 AIR SDK on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It installs on Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy S, but on the Note 8, I get error message "Application not installed". • BlackBerry Smartphones built in storage media errors, not now restart...

During the last two weeks, I received several cases where I received

the following error message: "built in storage not accessible due to a detected errors. You want to repair? »

I said yes and he fixed the problem.  Yesterday, I sent a BBM message and the phone reset... on suddenly it reboot only gets 3/4 of the way through the startup process (stops under the 1 'r' in the Blackberry logo).

I tried a multitude of things I've seen on many forums, including let it stand all night with the battery, try to start in safe mode (which I never could get it to do).  This morning, it does the same thing.  I found a post that suggested to reformat the internal memory, which I should have done when I had questions.

Is it possible to get this reformatted internal memory if the phone does not start?  Any suggestions would be helpful.  I will ask a new phone of my business, but know that I won't get it until tomorrow... so I'm willing to try anything to make it work again (today).

    Hi chmberry

That's what I set my phone freeze (9860). By JSanders.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

BlackBerry Device Operating System downloads: http://www.blackberryforums.com/blackberry-device-specific/
Simply select the model of the device in the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

    *****************
IF the above does not work or help, you need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and then load the operating system on the device. Follow the instructions here:

    Download JL_Cmder http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-software/18789-jl_cmder.html
    or download BBSAK http://bbsak.org/download.php

  • BlackBerry Smartphones E-mails from gmail is not on Blackberry

Because I had problems with my other email account, I recently "moved" my correspondence email business to my gmail account, I had rather used as a backup before. I had both my accounts put in place on my blackberry and I remember them both increased and works well, but I cannot say with certainty that I have rarely received emails on gmail.

The problems I have now (I had also, at the same time re - configure my blackberry, but everything should be ok now) is that the gmail account is not working properly after the installation. At first, it seemed to work pretty well, but now it's extremely erratic, at best, with a few emails that crosses and their reception by the blackberry, not at all and if yes with a delay of up to a few days (!).
This makes the combination of my now main mail to gmail account and my blackberry on which I rely heavily for communication when I'm out of the House completely unusable.

I have heard and read (even if for the most part in internet posts that are a few years old) it seems to be a problem running with gmail and blackberry accounts. Is - this irreparable?

    Is there a solution?

If all else fails, use a new account (new) would be the only alternative left - which would be a messaging provider that matches 100% with the blackberry e-mail program?

    Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

In addition, with GMail, you must be sure to have a good setting inside GMail. Via PC/browser, you control what GMail is facing the internet for your account (POP, IMAP, or both). I always recommend that you turn OFF POP and turn on IMAP in Gmail. Then set up fresh for your BB and you will have the 'best' available (IMHO) settings for GMail.

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support. What you describe certainly shouldn't happen on a regular basis (even if we must all accept the intermittent nature of everything on the internet).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9900 just does not load

I bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months and I never had problems charging my battery. But the other day, when I got home and charged, when I woke up, Led - the RED light flashes and custom light up. I used another charger (nine) but still the same. I tried to plug it into my laptop for charging, but still not good. BB office says this device was not connected (since obviously he doesn't have the power). I searched online and I tried the "kickstart" they say where I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove the battery for 10 minutes and put the battery back and wait another 2 hours - still not good . Although when I tried, I saw the icon charge for a few seconds during the first 2 hours, but do not see it again.

Anyone have a suggestion? Do you want to know if I need to replace my battery or have this problem? We have no Center service BB here in the Philippines. I will appreciate any help you guys can give. Thank you.

In waiting for someone to answer, I did some research and tried them out, but so far, I'm still not able to turn onn/load my camera.

Here's what I've tried so far:

1 pull the battery loading and put back on the

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

You can also try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. If you get properly in Mode without failure, then there's some 3rd party app which is the cuplrit.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try this procedure might limit the specific causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

Good luck and let us know!
