BlackBerry Z10 no mail after migrating to Office365

My employer has a policy of "choose your own device." After you choose a Mac, my account has been migrated to Office365. Since the migration I can't access my email from my Z10 work more. Does anyone have experience with this?

I followed the instructions here: http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/cc511385.aspx#FindTheServerSettings

I tried to configure POP and IMAP account using the parameters of our mail server (see below), but in both cases, my Z10 returns a message "the server is not responding.

Used POP settings:

Server name: outlook.office365.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: SSL

SMTP parameters:

Server name: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: StartTLS

My problem has been resolved by our technical service.

I used my full email address as username, but I should have used an internal, shorter version (ogiraud instead of olivier.giraud).

  • Notify BlackBerry Z10 voixe mail, no voice message

I took by mistake a purchase of voicemail calling my carrier, rather than open the notification on my BlackBerry z10. Now, in the hub, it says I have an unopened answering machine. When I try to touch this message, nothing happens. When I try to mark as read or delete, it does nothing. How can I get rid of him?

    Hey CarlaL,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

We are aware of this problem, remove the battery and place again.  Then the voicemail notification should disappear. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Lack of Smartphones blackBerry messages (e-mails) after re - initialize the device through BES

    Hey there,

One of my colleagues got just his BB and indicating the device simply synchronized or him remove the profile. Lack of contacts, emails were gone, schedule meetings missing etc... I have connected to our BES server, set the password activation and pushed to the device. I have connected since in the device, recreated his e-mail account of company and all seemed to have finished initializing. Noticed that the zone has taken time to initialize loooooong. I checked the time and date and both were correct. I checked his contacts, schedule meetings and everythin seems due back again all its e-mails are not returned. I sent many emails internally within our network of e-mail and outside my test hotmail account and unit did in fact bring but only after the re-initialzation I did this morning. Whatever it is before today was not returned.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

It is likely that his unit ran down on the memory and delete the data. But there is no "unsync" from the server. When the unit is short of memory it will erase the data in order to continue to run.

The reason for which old emails did not return when you activated on the BES is this feature only works when you add a new device (new pin code) on the account, or if you delete and re - add the account. If you simply re-enable the device even on the BES you won't get old emails filled again. If you Google the mail in question you will find there is a solution but, if I remember it's kinda a hack of the BES to operate.

Here are a couple of KB which deals with the issue of the mail:

  • BlackBerry® Z10 E-mail being held with WiFi?

I just started having problems with my Z10. First last Sam. my emails were not going out. They had a red circle with a white dash in it. Yesterday, the Association had me remove my e-mail account on my phone. Then we have implemented again and everything was fine. When WiFi is on emails now have a white circle with a clock as a picture in it. As e-mail is in question. Never had this before, anyway to change something to allow the email to go?

I got an email update that works with my WiFi with RR. Right now the problem is solved, but I'm curious to know about outlook.com? This send me email or I will have to go on the outlook.com Web site when I want to read my email?

  • BlackBerry Z10 delete Mail from the server Imap Gmail account

    Hello

My problem is that when I delete the email from the z10 does not delete it from the server

    1. I use to read my emails of some devices (macbook, web, mobile)

2A a device before ios and use to have emails automatically removes the server as well

    3. If this is not possible I think that it will be available in the next version (10.1.2?)

    4. If someone knows how to solve this problem, it will be nice (not a fan of pop3)

    Thank you

Thank you very much. I love my new Z10 and as fanatical IOS could not Belleville I ever move on. It is the only real problem for me on the z10 and waits for the next update

  • Mail of the El Capitan grayed out after Migration Wizard menus

The arrival of my new MacBook Pro (OS 10.11.5) I used the Migration Assistant (MA) to import the data from my old MacBook (OS 10.6). MY did not have identical usernames on both devices, so a new user has been created for the migration.

After migration, everything seems to work very well in most mail (and some obsolete applications).

Problem: some menu of messaging options are grayed out on and/or non-functional. Strange thing is that Mail works fine in the other user account, so I guess that's a conflict somewhere, sometimes, preferences will not open. New emails correctly, they appear in notifications and can be opened individually, but I can't open the message viewer.

    Grey of menu items:

    What I tried without success:

-delete all e-mail accounts and add them manually

    -remove mail preferences

-Remove user library: containers, mail, mail preferences folder

    -disable the user fonts

    -Disable items in user login

    Any suggestions much appreciated troubleshooting.

Problems like this are sometimes caused by files that should belong to you but are locked or have the wrong permissions. This procedure will check for these files. It makes no changes and is therefore not, in itself, a solution.

First, empty the trash, if possible.

Triple-click any where in the line below on this page to select, then copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

    find ~ $TMPDIR.. \( -flags +sappnd,schg,sunlnk,uappnd,uchg -o ! -user $UID -o ! -perm -600 \) 2>&- | wc -l | pbcopy

Launch the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Paste in the Terminal window by pressing command + V. The command may take a significant amount of time to run.

Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) to appear.

The output of the command will be a number. It is automatically copied to the Clipboard. Please paste in a response.

The Terminal window does not display the output. Please do not copy from there.

This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.

  • BlackBerry Z10 reduce an image file to be attached to an e-mail message on a new Z10

Hello there, recently got a new Z 10, love it by the way.   Does anyone know how to reduce the image files that you take with the Z10 to attach one or more to an e-mail message.   There is no prompt in the options to reduce the size and the process that notifies you that the files are in the large shipment.  I tried all the visible change icons popping up, but none of them are associated with the reduction of file.

    I would appreciate a well-informed response.

    Thank you, Joseph

the picture in the z10 editor does a great job with Cup, effects, sharpness, etc.  but there is no re-size. There are two or three free photo editors in appworld that accomplishes this task for you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 of different Notification for different e-mail accounts

On my old blackberry, I was able to set up a different number of vibration for my different e-mail account so I would know right away, who represent the email was on.  Is it possible to do the same thing on the Z10?

    Hey hinjeyan,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

Currently you are unable to set up notifications for different e-mail accounts on the BlackBerry Z10.  There is no estimated time when this feature will return.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry Z10 cannot add the iCloud IMAP e-mail. Weird error message.

    Hello

Just, I've got my mobile business phone, a BlackBerry Z10 and wanted to add my iCloud service in the personal workspace. The contacts and the synchronization of calendar just fine, but when you add the mail I get this error message:

    "order: b 'CAPABILITY'-online socket error:-too much reading 0.

Also when you try to add the e-mail as an IMAP account standard account, enter all parameters according to Apple, I always get the error message once he wants to "save and check your settings. I also tried different combinations of ports (587, 25), smtp, SSL and StarTLS. Using the user name with or without the @me.com. Use @icloud.com instead @me.com,... etc. etc. Always get this error message.

Then I though perhaps administrators blocked this feature, however I was able to add my personal gmail account, which would have been the case if they would block private emails.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Thank you, Christoph

I have solved the problem now.

It is not logical to me, but it works.

Rather than take the path normal through the settings, accounts, add imap, etc.

    I did this:

    1. slide to the left to open the hub

    2. press the button 'More' at the bottom right

    3. tap on settings

    4. type e-mail accounts

    5. tap on add account

    6. tap on advanced

    7. tap on IMAP

Then follow the normal steps by filling out the form.

I know that (I think) is in the same place to complete the form only when you go through the steps described in the knowledge base article.

Still, I can't explain why, but it worked for me. Using the same exact references.

    Thanks for your support tho!

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 automatically loses any email inbox and sent box immediately after having read or not

Hi everyone, just need some advice on how to cure my Z10 lose no e-mail in my box-box or sent (even removed)

    Hello Victor,.

As I suspected, your e-mail client is probably download messages and delete them from the mail server on which they are stored. When this occurs, the message is also deleted from your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.

Set your Microsoft Outlook to leave a copy of message on the server by following the steps in the following article and let us know if this solves the problem for you: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12283

  • BlackBerry Z10 my BB Z10 does not start after the update today at 91 firmware

    Hello

IM from the India. I bought a Z10 only today in the evening. When I arrived home and connected to the laptop, it has proposed an update to my version 261 91. But after that, my BB10 is not start. Just the red light keeps blinking on the black screen. When I tried to reload the software link, it says, the software is uptodate and turns again into flashes red. Please suggest me how to solve this problem as its been just 2 hours, I used the phone and he's dead to me.

Remove the battery for 5 minutes and pop again. In this post, there are two links depending on what type of screen appears once it tries to start, after the red light.

  • Z10 e-mail accounts keep blackBerry get "disconnected".

I noticed that I get more emails. When I check my accounts, I find that one or more are not connected. I have 5 accounts, gmail 2, 2 bell and rogers 1. It happens with all of them. Seems more common since upgrading to 10.1. It happens several times a day. A soft reset fix but it's stupid. Is this a known problem sw or do I have a hardware problem?

  • BlackBerry Z10 tries to remove newly BBID Z10 configuration and use an existing BBID

Hi, I recently bought a new Blackberry Z10 camera. I started setting up. I wanted to create a Blackberry user ID if I entered an email address that I use frequently. I got an error message stating that the e-mail address is already in use. I thought that I never used a Blackberry ID/product/service forward. I couldn't understand why this email address was used, then after you have re-entered it a few times I decided to try using another email address that I use as often. I put the BBID using another email address, however I have not confirmed it yet. A few hours later, I realized why Blackberry gave me an error message on the first email address, I tried to use. On two or three years I created BBM on my Iphone with a Blackberry ID for text messaging. I used a couple of times and didn't use it thereafter. The next day I went in my email account to see the email confirmation for the BBID I put in place a few days ago. Rather than confirm the BBID, I saw an option: If you did not create or do not recognize this account, remove this BlackBerry ID. Which is what I did. I deleted it. Because I didn't use this BBID. Then I tried to connect the Z10 with the BBID, I created three years ago (before logon on the phone I have to reset my password on the site Web of Blackberry). I could not log in with the old BBID, I created while all the information is correct (I can log on to the Web from Blackberry site, see my profile and settings). The phone tell me the username and password is wrong when I click on the button check that it is just for the opening session with my information screen. The problem is that the phone keeps the profile settings and e-mail address since when I put in place a few days ago and I can't get rid of it, because it is associated with the phone. I read on the forum somewhere, that, in order to get rid of a BBID who is on the phone, I would need to do a reset and community support of Blackberry. Not sure if this is true. The issue is when I try to do that, I have to enter the password that I deleted so I'm stuck BBID. Don't know what to do. I'm all new to Blackberry and would appreciate any support you could give me to solve this issue.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, you are now in a difficult situation...

Indeed, this information is true. The only way to remove the association between a device and a BBID must WIPE the device. But... you've discovered...

    Mioprincipe wrote:

This means that the device must execute the last branch 10.3.2.xxxx of the operating system, which includes the anti-theft function required by the Government, which requires that before a device is deleted, the anti-theft function BBProtect be first to be defeated before the wipe. Without this step, after the wipe, the same BBID is required (to prevent a thief using the device at all).

Here is some useful information (all the "official" BB staff):

If you purchased your appliance from ShopBlackBerry, Amazon (U.S. / UK) or the Porsche Design Store, please communicate with BlackBerry using the details on our page contact us.

If you bought your device with a wireless service provider, or a retail store in person, or online, please contact them for assistance.

DO NOT PUBLISH THIS INFORMATION IN THESE FORUMS

    -Your BlackBerry ID
-Proof of purchase such as a reception
-A copy of your wireless bill that shows your phone #.
