Buttons of switch Sound wireless not working not

Hello

I just started my computer (pavilion dv6-1120ek) today & the touch Board no longer works. The light is on, but does not respond to my touch.

Now, I can only control sound through its Panel in Windows, but the real problem is the WiFi, when I try to activate it via Windows, it says "use the power switch on the front of the computer or function keys if available, in order to allow capacity wirless on this computer.

Please, if there is anything in troubleshooting, would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Try a Hard Reset as follows.

Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.

Kind regards

  • Satellite L755-1ED - sound is not working properly

    Hello

I am currently the owner of a Toshiba Satellite L755 1ED and the sound does not work as it should for a few weeks. When I try to play an audio file or a video, its offline or online, works well for the first few minutes, and then suddenly disappears. I use Windows 7, and when that happens, his is still known for the system as you can see in the volume control, but any noise is coming from the speakers. However:
-If I pause the video and then repeat it in like 30 seconds, sound usually comes back. Also if I go to Sound Settings in + material and Sound + in the + control panel + and then try to check if it works, it's usually after the first or second attempt.
-If I use headphones always works perfectly.

I have already installed the latest updates of my sound card and I don't know where the problem is maybe. Some help would be welcome.
Thank you very much and sorry for my English (is not my native language).

Very interesting article. Speakers a little internal switch port that helps mobile to recognise that the earphones are connected and when you connect headphones, internal speakers will be disabled and the sound comes through the speakers only.

On some machines, it is possible to manually switch between external and internal contacts

When you open Control Panel is Realter HD audio manager available or maybe Smart audio?

    > After installing all the drivers and software of Toshiba by order, the button to turn on the power switch lights does not work.
Please check the BIOS settings. As I m not wrong not it takes an option called LED illumination or something like that. There you can turn on and off.
Also, try to customize the special button of TOSHIBA using the Toshiba control utility.
There are also some useful options.
But to be honest I n not know exactly if this button doesn't work with Win XP. Maybe this feature is not available in XP.

    > I tried to install HDD protection Utility but the installer returned an error like 'cannot be installed on this model.
This error message appears if you try to install a tool that was not designed for this series of laptop.
The U400-12F seems to belong to the PSU40E. Check if it s a good tool.

  • My sound does not work

I have a 2000 219DX HP Notebook PC Windows 7 64 bit and a reader of RealTek HD Audio installed and activated. My sound has stopped working since yesterday. I recently did an update of the BIOS before but he worked shortly after, and then the next day it was not. What can I do to make my sound work? Help, please!

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download Realtek HD Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp54501-55000/sp54986.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek audio device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When finished, restart the computer and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right click on the installer of Realtek and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

If you have still no sound, open windows control panel, open administrative tools, and then open Services.  Verify that the following services are all showing that status = started and the Startup Type = Automatic

    Audio service

    Multimedia class Scheduler

    Windows Audio

    Windows Audio endpoint Builder

If you need to make a change to one of the above, just right-click the service and select Properties, and then in the drop-down list box next to "Startup Type", select automatic and click on apply to save the changes.  Then click on the Start button.

  • Sound does not work in my pc portable hp-2000-2d29DX

My sound doesn't work all of a sudden. When it happened, I was using the sound recorder. When I tried to read one of the sounds he says that something was wrong. Then I tried to watch a video of youtube, but there was no sound.  After that, I tried to play music spotify, but an error of spotify said "there is something wrong with my sound card."

I found an article on the measures to be taken to restore your sound. I've tried a few things. I checked my device manager and checked the audio driver, and he said it was "in the loop". Also, when I did the audio troubleshoot it says that it could not detect any problems. I tried to test the speakers as well, but tell an error message "could not play the test tone.  I don't know what to do now.

I received this laptop in December and updated the operating system windows 8.1 three weeks ago. It is the only major change I made. Is my product number: E0K79UA

I really need the sound back soon as soon as possible. My math class is based mainly online, and I have to watch a video of teacher for the lesson. What should I do about it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download Realtek HD Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp64001-64500/sp64443.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

Then, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the following link.

    Chipset Driver - Windows 8.1

Once the reinstallation is finished, stop the laptop by holding down the left SHIFT you click Shutdown key to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot, then disconnect the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right click on Realtek HD Audio Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

  • Dv7-7202tx Notebook PC ENVY: Wireless not working not

    Hello

My wireless stopped working last night and the function button is orange. I tried to restart, fixing through the System Mechanic, but that did not work. Of course, I didn't have internet access so I couldn't download a driver, but I don't know where the best driver is for my machine.

I am at work today and can download a driver if need be. My CH30PA product number.

    Thank you

Invite you to reset the bios (the steps below)
  • Sound did not work, tried to fix it... got Loud whistling instead

I had trouble with my DELL XPS L502xX sound, it would work for: Web browsers and team speak, it worked for spotify, but now it does not work for what it is, I tried to look for solutions, and I think I've done worse by following these step I would have probably not done:

    1. open Device Manager and look for the device for which you want to restore the driver. The XPS L501X has graphics Intel or nVidia.
    2. right click on the name or the icon of the device and click Properties.
    3. in the Properties window for the device, click the driver tab.
    4. on the driver tab, click roll back to the previous version. (Is it is disabled, then it is not a previous driver to roll back to.) When the computer is restarted, the old driver will be installed.

After that I took these steps, I've restarted the laptop and the sound would not work on anything... so I went to the Control Panel > Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers

and it said Realtek High Definition Audio is disabled, so I gave him and then this whistling noise started coming out of my helmet, so I tried unplugging my headphones and the sound was still there, so I disabled it, and now I don't know what to do.

The XPS L501X has graphics Intel or nVidia.

Why you were looking at the graphics drivers to fix an audio problem?

In any case, try to use the Windows system restore. (Click Start, and then type system restore in the search box on Windows.) Select a restore point dated before before you rolled back graphics drivers. That expected to get riders to the way they were.

If this does not work, then download and install a new copy of the Realtek audio driver.

    > Go to the XPS L502x support page.

    > Find the small blue 'Change OS' button and select your operating system (Win 7 or 8). Don't skip this step.

    > Expand the Audio category.

    > Download the Realtek driver.

  • T61 sound does not work after reinstalling

    Hello

I am re - install Windows XP Pro SP2 on many laptops.

    I have a problem with some T61.

Installing the driver (found on the Lenovo Web site) is successful.

Windows displays the audio icon, I can open it and change the volume, but I can't hear any sound.

I'm sure it was working fine before the re-installation.

    I tried two ways:

    -driver install KB888111, then sound

-driver install SP3, and then sound

    But none works.

Do you have an idea of what I might have missed?

Where can I get previous versions of the drivers?

    Thank you.

    Solved.

The computer was cut after re-installation and the button above the keyboard did not work properly (I had to press really hard).

    Thank you.

  • Tecra M10 - Sound does not work on Windows XP SP3

TECRA M10 sound does not work with Win XP SP3

    1. the drivers from the toshiba web site.
2 chipset drivers and audio drivers were reinstalled no luck,.
    3. no mute FN + Esc
    4. feature eat that all drivers ok

    Hello

If I understand your right all devices listed correctly in the Device Manager and you don t have yellow exclamation points?

Normally, for high definition sound cards, you need two patches from Microsoft:
    KB835221 and KB888111.
Normally, these patches are integrated into SP3 but it works only if you install the audio driver after SP3. So, if you have an older version of XP without SP3, you must update to SP3, all first and then install the display driver.

So in your case, you must delete the current sound driver and restart the laptop. Then use CCleaner to clean the registry and system files. Reboot the laptop. Then download and install the driver of his newest Realtek Hompage.

    Good bye
