• Satellite L750 - gray screen at startup

  Hi guys,.

  I have Toshiba Satellite L750 slightly less than 2 years. He developed intermittent problems, when starting it arrives with white/grey screen and disappear when the login screen is ready. Sometimes touching the upper left part of the disappears from the screen it. Other wise I have to keep restarting. I have checked the cable connections between screen and motherboard, and they seem good.

  I have also connected my laptop to an external display while it shows the gray screen and the external display. The screen is not cracked or the other.

  Googling around you can find a lot of discussion on various forums on similar problems and many different explanations why something like this can happen. On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what may be wrong with your laptop, but it is certainly the unwanted material.

  In my opinion you should either continue to use your laptop until it can be possible and later when the issue gets worse search solution or contact the nearest service Toshiba and ask for help.

  Guarantee is generally of 2 years (depending on the country) but if you opened it on your own guarantee is canceled now.

  Press PRINT three pages of computer Dell. Printer starts page first impression. I decide that I need not 2nd or 3rd page.

  When the printer starts to print the 2nd page, I press cancel on the printer screen. It stops printing 2nd page for a while, then comes back and starts printing the pages I tried to cancel. Looks like the printer retains in its memory and continues to try to print despite my efforts to cancel. How can I change the memory in the printer to prevent it to print something, I don't want anymore?

  The printer is probably OK - maybe it's the Spoolsv service on computer printer has a problem.

  bbjae, it looks like there may be a residual electric charge accumulated in the unit.  When was the last time you did a Hard Reset on this unit?

  Hard Reset:

  * Unplug the unit while the printer is on

  Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

  * Wait 30 seconds

  * Plug power back in and make sure that the device is running

  I know this is a very known issue, but difficult to solve, I can't install VMWare Workstation V11 (tried with the old version 8, the same) since as soon as I click Setup, I have a gray screen and installation seems suspended it.

  You can also uninstall the software and reinstall and check.

  This morning I opened the email m and there was one that looked like it came from apple... I clicked it and a gray screen appeared with a voice that tells me to call the number 888 a1.  I can't get rid of the email.  Can I get rid of it by stopping?  In the message my access to my hard drive appears and asks me to enter the password etc... • Blank gray screen on wake?

  So I am using this Mac mini (late 2014, 2.6 GHz Core i5, 8 GB memory, 1 TB HDD, OS X El Capitan 10.11.6) for almost a year now and I'm having a serious problem with waking up from his sleep recently. If I let him sleep long enough, I get a gray screen on wake. No progress bar or the other and it can go up to a half hour without doing anything.   Hi there please help me. I didn't have this problem until two days ago when the browser updated itself. I have the youtube video downloader add on and always use it.   I solved. On the firefox support page they will give you information about the HTML5 player and they say there that firefox uses it only 38 version before so I'm 36 version and it worked in blocking it as before.

  I just installed a Samsung Evo 500 GB SSD in my Macbook Pro 2010. I went to start and it starts very slowly due to a gray screen just sat there for about 30 seconds and then it shows the apple logo and it takes another 15 seconds to load. The gray screen did not appear before installing the SSD but the Apple logo did take longer to load with the HARD drive. I used SuperDuper to clone my my SSD HARD drive and installed the SSD and it starts normally. The only issue was the gray screen. I've heard that I need to go into system preferences and select Startup disk, then my boot drive, but there is no choice. Help, please.
