  The deadlock problem in your journal that happens because the database user SCOTT has his account has expired or locked.

  To resolve this issue, you will need to:

  1 unlock the account with the command

  ALTER USER SCOTT ACCOUNT UNLOCK;

  2. set the password for SCOTT with the command

  ALTER USER SCOTT IDENTIFIED BY TIGER;

  3. confirm the status of the account with the command:

  Select the username, account_status from dba_users where username = 'SCOTT ';

  Just a suite, I use Windows 7 (x 64). I talk with the cat from adobe and I was told to create a new Administrator windows account and reinstall LR by using this new account.

  It worked for me, I am able to successfully access LR 6 using the newly created administrator account. I tried to follow up with another request - I have what patches can implement to my current user account so that I can access LR 6 using that account (and not the new windows user account). Unfortunately, I was told that cat Adobe does not support LR 6 and I am directed to ask my questions here.

  Office is a package that contains multiple simple apps like MS Word, Outlook, etc... so, you will not be able to start Office by clicking on the desktop icon.

  Good to know that you have done a repair install.  What I would do is run the SFC scan, because you performed the installation of repair recently the chances are that the SFC scan should be good.  If there is a problem, it will signal you when finished.

  Then I would go to Windows Update to check if he has new updates and/or try to update all those who did not.  If you still get the updates that do not please let us know what he's trying to put up-to-date and error.

• Cannot connect to Windows 7 after Microsoft updates

  After the most recent series of updates to one of our laptops set up and configured, the office went into the log on screen. There is one main user on this laptop. When we click on the user icon, however, user, accessibility, and stop icons disappear for a few seconds, the animated 'wait' icon appears for a while, then the entire screen darkens, and this goes back in the log on screen. We are never faced with the prompt of password or any other message. This happens if start us normally or in Mode safe. We also tried to commissioning in the configuration "last good known", but the same problem occurs. We can enter the recovery tools, but the only available recovery seems to be the restoration of the original configuration of the C:\ drive.

  Is there a work around known for allowing us to open a session?

  Critical data are synchronized on a network drive, so there is little emphasis on this front. We would like to just avoid having to reinstall applications (office 360, Norton, etc.) which may require additional assistance to cancel lost installation.

• Windows XP will only start in safe mode after Windows updated 09/02/2011

  We have seven Windows XP SP3 computers.  All are set to download/install automatic updates every day at 03:00.  Today, one of them does not start in normal mode.  When the user arrives at 08:30, screen was black and would not, if power to monitor and PC were in.  The user powered PC turned off/on.  He came normally too far that the screen blue, just before the login box appears, sucked to boot options.  Boot in safe mode and safe mode with networking mode.  Restart in safe mode after shows the same result.  The event log shows a SaveDump:

  A suggestion: as stated above, I thought I was wrong this posted in the Windows 7 Forum.  In fact, the link under XP for updates takes you to the Forum Windows 7 > Windows Update.  It seems that it would be less confusing, if questions update go to a forum, out of Windows 7 and Windows Update as a stand-alone speaker.

• Office 2007 and after recent update blue screen errors

  After a recent update installed before shutdown, the Office 2007 applications will not start. • Suddenly cannot open new tab, immediately after an update of MSWindows7, or after the upgrade to Windows 10 - tired, all kinds of bugs, no luck.

  Never had this problem until what MS downloaded and installed updates (for Windows7). So I said I'm going to widows 10 because I thought anyway, so I did this - still cannot open a new tab, or by clicking on the tab '+' or 'ctrl + T.
  I spent about an hour going by most of the measures that have been provided by the support of Mozilla tech note and it did not help. I'm not going to create a new FF profile.
  I restart my PC, nothing helped. I chose "never" (I forgot the exact wording) on all the Plug Ins and then rebooted and this did not help. I have not loaded Extensions.
  I installed FF for Windows 10 just after the installation of Windows 10.
  I am a user of whether average PC.
