  It is a new one on me. I installed the printer with a barrette SIMM Postscript so it would work even at all under Vista and now it prints well but insists on the fact that I have all re - print he has never seen a reason any whenever I turn the printer to print something again.

  I'm sorry that you are having this problem. There are several steps you can take to help your connection problem. First of all, when the printer is connected to your network, print a Network Setup page. On this page, use the ip address of the printer and that type in the address bar of your internet browser on your computer. Will take you to the server of the web integrated printer (EWS). Look for the Networking tab change the automatic ip addressing to public static ip (manual). You will then enter the ip address of the printer, followed by the subnet mask, and finally the default gateway, the info that will be on the Network Setup page you printed. Below, you'll assign 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the primary and secondary DNS. Who should manage the intermittent connection loss problems. With automatic addressing, the printer can request a new address whenever there is a network problem, which confuses the printer. Static IP or manual addressing, is tackling this problem.   We use a Color LaserJet 9500 in an enterprise environment. He had a hardware failure, our service partner repaired. Since then, the stapling function is missing from the universal printer driver. On the machine itself, we are able to use the stapler, but not on our PC.

  You can see from the attached images, official stapling is visible on screen captures, but on our machines, stapling is missing.

  Don't know where on your driver, but he should be a tab like device settings on this tab will be a section called installable options and in this section that you will need to change the clip in not installed not installed. Most likely, the driver was reinstalled and the default probably isn't for the stapler unit. • MFP M277 dw: Color LaserJet MFP M277dw Pro issues with iMac

  I have a 2015 21.5 "iMac running El Capitan (10.11.3) and a HP Color LaserJet Pro M277dw MFP that falls in offline mode when it is idle for a while.

  Once the Mac has been sleeping, I can no longer copy, scan or fax without having to restart the printer and the iMac. And it is intermittent. This does not happen everytime the iMac goes to sleep, but no doubt it happens once or twice a week.

  The printer is connected both wireless (so that I can print from my iPad in other parts of the House.) and directly to the iMac via USB.

  I have updated all the HP software related and have applied the last update of the HP firmware for the printer as well. I also ran through all the game instructions that were provided with the printer.

  Other troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.

  Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your fall issue offline printer.

  I understand you have a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw connected to a wireless network for your iPad and connected with a USB to your iMac running Mac OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan, but the drops of the printer is offline after has been idle for a while and becomes also insensitive after mode "Eve". I would like to help with that.

  If you see the message on the printer offline on the iMac, it would be because the iMac think he's using the wireless printer, when it should be using the USB connection.

  You should be able to solve that by unplugging the USB cable. Once the USB cable is removed, reset the Mac printing system. If you don't know how to reset the Mac printing system, here is a document of support that can help - reset the printing system.

  After printing Mac system has been reset, you should be able to reconnect the USB cable and add it to printers and Scanners.

  As far as being not able to copy, scan or fax without having to restart the printer and the iMac that could be solved by resetting the printing system and making sure the USB printer is listed in the printers and Scanner. When the printer seem to be insensitive, the first step is to perform a reset of the power on the printer.

  Do you think that the printer has impeded?  Or, is there a big gap between the ejected pages?  Have you checked the paper type in the bin?  Please make sure that the paper type is set to "Plain".

  After the closure of the status bar, the media sensor will detect the first fed leaves 5 and decide on the type of media.  Maybe your media are dirty or defective?  Try cleaning the sensor of media.

  You can disable the detection of media sensor, so if the above does not resolve issue you, please let me know.

  A HP5520 for a few months and all were working well. But today does not scan wireless.

  I'm on a Mac OSX 10.9.2 imac and have reinstalled just the last bundle of driver on the HP website but no joy. The HP scanning utility will show the printer in the list, but throws up this error message:

  "HP Photosmart 5520 series-AirPrint is currently unavailable. Please check if it is connected and turned on, or try again later. »

  If I try to connect through system preferences printers and Scanners it throws up to the following error:

  "Year error occurred while communicating with the analytical engine."

  Any ideas?

  Don't worry, I've now solved with a stop down / reboot everything after you have reinstalled the drivers. I think that, maybe, last week cut off was to blame reboot on the mac has rebooted without the scanner is powered and the scan of the computer had not been activated. A restart of the mac corrected it.

  I'm trying to place drivers for our color laserjet 4700dn via login script. The only driver available on HP downloads for this model is the universal printer driver. When I install the printer and let Windows 7 uses the pilot that it downloads from Windows Update it duplex very well but I can't find where to download this driver package, so I'm stuck with the universal printer driver if I want to withdraw what my login script.

  With the UPD if I select duplex printer just ignores the setting and proceed to print single-sided. If I set the default forward on duplex printer preferences and then print from an application, it works but then I have to go back and change the preferences or each job prints duplex.

  I hope that someone knows a fix for the duplex problem UPD or there maybe somewhere else I can download the specific driver for 4700dn color under Windows 7 64-bit, which would be even better. Otherwise I'll be stuck manually install the printer every time I created a new workstation.

  I finally found a driver that I can ride if a login script that works for double-sided printing with our Win7 64 bit workstations. Here is a link to the site in case it's useful for someone else is trying to spread out the drivers.

  The error message indicates that you have a module that has one input open - nothing is connected. You must have a data wire to all entries.
