  Hi, I just reinstalled a new XP Pro in a hp compaq nc6000... This moment, everything works perfectly, except for the Wi - Fi connection. And all that although I have a Broadcom 802.11 Wireless Lan Adapter, a Hp Integrated Wireless LAN Driver W400-W500 and a Broadcom Gigabit Integrated Controller installed. (as shown on my list to the software). However, when I look at the list of the material of my wireless connection, there is only an installed infrared adapter. What hurts?   I'm having a problem getting the Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN on my HP Pavilion dv7-1275dx to connect to my router (Zyxel P334WT). It would connect intermittently, then disappears for no apparent reason and then refuses to connect for days. I contacted HP support and we spent three hours trying to solve the problem without success. Curiously, when I paste my adapter wireless Netgear WG111v2 USB into the computer, I am able to connect to my network without problem. The computer running Windows Home Vista 64-bit.   Hi there, I'm having some problems with my laptop recently. The wireless won't turn on no and stays out of little matter how many times I press the button of the wireless switch which is above the keyboard, remaining always this color orange relics indicating that the wireless is disabled.

  -J' I goto the Atheros AR5007 802. 11 b / g WiFi adapter properties screen and the device status says "this device is working properly.

  -I go into the Device Manager and theres no "!" or whatever it is on my network cards.

  -Tried to get into the bios and see if there was something on my adapter wireless that has been disabled, but the only thing I could find was an option in the boot order allowing to map internal network starts when the laptop starts. Tried to activate / deactivate options, and nothing really happened.

  -I can still take an ethernet cable and I work ok on my Wired internet.

  -Tried to uninstall the driver/restart the computer. Upon restart, it reinstalled the drivers but the wireless still won't turn.

  At this point, for me, it seems that it is a hardware problem and kinda outta luck. Had this laptop about 3 years and a little really need yet for the school. Can anyone suggest what I can still check/fix?

  Button wireless drivers are s/w for Windows 7.

  For other drivers, you must, use those of the HP Probook 450 G1, except the audio, BIOS and Firmware files.

  My wireless capability is "disabled".  I looked through all the manuals I can find online to find the mysterious "wireless" button, push it in and turn it on to make my computer connects once more to the internet.  I could have sworn that I found this mysterious button, because there is a small black cover that appears off the coast beside the sign wireless on the front.  I pushed and nothing happened.  I still have no access.  Can someone help please so that I can finish my homework and go to bed already?

  No it's not remove all the files. That was my main concern as I homeschool my children and was worried I would lose everything and I have no way of backing up my files... I used this process I pressed f10 when my computer was about to begin (while the screen was black) it took me in BIOS mode I then pressed f9 to reset the default settings, change confirmed by pressing the button enter then you press f10 to save and exit the BIOS my computer then started normally and the blue light of wireless connectivity jumped on immediately and I na not lose a single file.   My laotop always deal with this irritating erorr Windows Update.

  This update is related to

  HP - other hard - HP wireless button Driver.

  Although it is an optional update from Windows Update, it is slightly irritating when you keep seeing it fail.

  The error is 0 x 80070436. Microsoft website and try, I read remedy based on what are given. But none of

  they are successful.

  In my device manager, I see in the other category device there are 1 unknow device. I tried to uninstall and if all goes well

  After a reboot, windows can auto detect it. Apparently, this cannot be resolved as well.

  Appreciate anyone can share how fix this irritating problem.

  This means that the drivers and Toshiba tools are not released to win 8.1.
  I think you can use Win 8.1 but be aware that there is no guarantee that you can use all the features of the special specifications.

  Toshiba system driver is the successor of the VAP in case you use Win 8.1

  However, try to install the driver of Toshiba and Toshiba function Key Utility system to win 8.1

  I would really appreciate some help here. Recently, I did a factory rest on my laptop dv7 HP Envy but can't reinstall Windows 10.

  Before doing this, I was told that I need updates of Windows 8 to 8.1, and then to Windows 10.

  However, I am unable to Al of Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows I'm not all the drivers installed.

  For some reason, I am unable to install the driver of HP wireless button. Whenever I try to download through Windows Update in Control Panel, it downloads and after installation displays an error code 80070436.

  I am unable to get this driver installed and therefore cannot be updated to Windows 8.1. I tried to update to 8.1 without the driver, but my laptop is restarted it got stuck at 82%.

  I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice or help get this sort I seem to keep hitting a brick wall.

  You are the very welcome.

  You will be able to install W10 directly without the need to spend any other OS.

  I did it several times already, so I know it works.

  Twice on nine discs in a solid state on laptops that had previously been W10 on the old mechanical hard disks.

I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-7000 and issues with the F12 key after and 8.1 of Windows upgrade. This is a link toHP Quick Launch software. It is under Software Solutions on your driver page.

  It will help with the F12 key.

  Make sure that all updates have been met with Windows it is under change PC settings. It is enough to click on the Windows key and start typing the laptop settings.

  I'm stuck on my HP Compaq nc6000 and what Iboot it it says the hal.dll file is corupt or missing whenever I start. When I crush the F10 key it says in the corner "enter the configuration...
