Computer stops not to reboot
I have windows xp home edition. I can't get my computer to shut down, I can't get my add and remove progam is displayed so I can remove programs. My computer will not be x out of web pages either.
There is NO error message that it just turned off to restart.
Theres a being tread on this, welocme to the club!

Have you done a power Plan in your computer?
If not, please follow this...
Start button > Control Panel > Classic view > Power Options >
In this window, select a power Plan, such as balanced etc.
Click on change Plan settings
Choose WHEN and HOW you want to computer to turn off or go to sleep display
Note: you can set it to NEVER
Click on save when you are finished.

Pressing on the button / stop? Clicking Start then stop?
Check the Power Options settings in the Control Panel
Select system and security
Select the Power Options
Select the current power Plan and change plan settings
Select change advanced power settings
Expand them power buttons and lid
