IPSec site to site VPN cisco VPN client routing problem and
Hello
I'm really stuck with the configuration of ipsec site to site vpn (hub to spoke, multiple rays) with cisco vpn remote client access to this vpn.
The problem is with remote access - cisco vpn client access - I can communicate with hub lan - but I need also communication of all lans speaks of the cisco vpn client.
There are on the shelves, there is no material used cisco - routers DLINK.
Someone told me that it is possible to use NAT to translate remote access IP-lan-HUB customers and thus allow communication - but I'm unable to set up and operate.
Can someone help me please?
Thank you
Peter

How the DLINK has been configured for traffic between the site to site VPN subnets? You are able to add multiple remote subnets on DLINK? If you can, then you must add the pool of Client VPN subnet.
Alternatively, if you cannot add multiple subnet on DLINK router, you can change the pool of Client VPN 192.168.6.0/24, and on the crypto ACL between the site to site VPN, you must edit the 180 existing ACL

Also change the ACL 190 split tunnel:

access-list 190 allow ip 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255 192.168.6.0 0.0.0.255
Finally, replace the remote subnet 192.168.7.0/255.255.255.0 192.168.6.0/255.255.254.0 DLINK.
Hope that helps.

Another problem with the configuration of Cisco VPN Client access VPN Site2site
We have a Cisco ASA 5505 at our CORP. branch I configured the VPN Site2Site to our COLO with a Juniper SRX220h, to another site works well, but when users access the home Cisco VPN client, they cannot ping or SSH through the Site2Site. JTACS contacted and they said it is not on their end, so I tried to contact Cisco TAC, no support. So here I am today, after for the 3 days (including Friday of last week) of searching the Internet for more than 6 hours per day and try different examples of other users. NO LUCK. The VPN client shows the route secure 10.1.0.0
Sorry to post this, but I'm frustrated and boss breathing down my neck to complete it.

Hello
It seems to me that you've covered most of the things.
You however not "said" Configuring VPN L2L that traffic between the pool of VPN and network camp should be in tunnel

Configure the Cisco VPN client to pass through the VPN site-to-site (GUI)
Hello
I say hat the chain and responses I've seen to achieve this goal have been great...
https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/12234631/Cisco-ASA-5505-VPN-p...
and
https://supportforums.Cisco.com/document/12191196/AnyConnect-client-site...
My question is "we will get this configuration by using the graphical user interface for someone who is not notified about the command line?"
Thank you
Of course, all this can be configured via ASDM.
Looking at the second example you posted above, they point you first change:
ACL split of the tunnel for the AnyConnect customer
This Configuration > remote access VPN > network (Client) access > AnyConnect connection profile > (chose the profile and select Edit) > (choose "Manage" next to group policy) > Edit > advanced > Split Tunneling > ensure that the policy does not "Inherit" but rather "Tunnel network list below" > Unselect "Inherit" next to the network list, then 'manage '. Enter your networks you want in the GUI in this dialog box. Click OK all the way back to the main window ASDM and click on apply.
You then change:
Crypto ACL for the tunnel from Site to Site
To do this, go to Configuration > VPN Site-to_site > connection profiles > (choose your profile and select edit) > add the VPN client address pool to the list of local network between protect networks. Yet once, click OK all the way back to the main window ASDM and click on apply.
Then, allow the
ASA to redirect back on the same interface traffic it receives
.. is defined under Configuration > Device Setup > Interfaces. (check the box at the bottom of this screen). Click on apply
Finally, there is the NAT exemption. For which go to Configuration > firewall > rules NAT. Add a NAT device rule before rules network object with Interface Source out, Source address your address pool VPN, the Destination address to include remote subnets and Action is Static Source NAT type source address and destination address remaining as original (i.e. without NAT). Once on OK all the way back to the main window ASDM and click on apply. Save and test.
Good luck. Don't forget to note the brand and posts useful when your question is answered.

Renew the certificate - Cisco VPN (the router)
Hello!
I have to renew my certificate and I need to do this, generate a new CSR.
My doubt is if I generate a new CSR my current certificate will be lost or not.
The command I use to generate a new CSR is:
# crypto ca enroll XXX
Thank you.
Hi Anderson,
If you create the CSR in a different trustpoint, you will not lose the current certificate.
It may be useful

Cisco VPN client + VPN site-to-site
Hi all
I have two ASA5505 with a site to site VPN.
One of the ASA is connected to the internal network 192.168.150.0.
It is connected to 192.168.151.0.
I also configured IPSec Cisco VPN client that is connected to 192.168.150.0.
I would like to know if it is possible for a connected with the Cisco VPN client to access the 192.168.151.0 by the site-to-site VPN network.
Thank you!

If you mean that the IP addresses of the VPN Pool are something like 192.168.150.x then I suggest to use a totally different network than those used on LANs.
At the software level 9.1 basically causes changes to how are the NAT0 configurations.
MAIN SITE
network of the VPN-POOL object
subnet x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
being REMOTE-LAN network
192.168.151.0 subnet 255.255.255.0
destination of static NAT VPN VPN-POOL POOL (outdoors, outdoor) static REMOTE - LAN LAN
REMOTE SITE
network of the VPN-POOL object
subnet x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
the object of the LAN network
192.168.151.0 subnet 255.255.255.0
NAT static destination LAN LAN (indoor, outdoor) static source VPN-VPN-POOL
Otherwise, I would imagine that the same kind of configurations above apply. You need the ' same-security-movement ' command to allow the 'outside' to ' outside ' of the movement. You will have to ensure that the ACL from Tunnel Split contains the remote site network. And of course, you should make sure that the ACL crypto sets / include traffic between VPN pool and the network 192.168.151.0/24 on both sides ASAs.

Problems to connect via the Cisco VPN client IPSec of for RV180W small business router
Hello
I tried to configure my router Cisco of RV180W as a customer VPN IPSec, but have encountered a problem that I hope someone can help me with. "" I managed to do the work of configuration so that the Cisco's VPN IPSec client authenticates successfully with the XAUTH user, I put on the router, but during the negotiation, the client ends with the following, which appears several times on the router error message: ' Mar 20 Oct 19:41:53 2015 (GMT + 0000): [r1] [IKE] ERROR: local configuration for
> [34360] has no config mode. I've read around the internet and a number of people seem to say that the Cisco VPN Client is not compatible with the router, but the same thing happens to my iPhone VPN client.
Is it possible that this can be implemented? Below, I have attached the full configuration files and the log files. Thank you much in advance.

Correct, the RV180 is not compatible with the Cisco VPN Client. The Iphone uses the Cisco VPN Client.
You can use the PPTP on the RV180 server to connect a PPTP Client.
In addition, it RV180 will allow an IPsec connection to third-party customers 3. Greenbow and Shrew Soft are 2 commonly used clients.

Configuration of Cisco for Cisco VPN Client ASA 5505
Our firm has finally made the move from Sonicwall Cisco for our SMB customers. Got our first customer with a VPN site-to site solid and you have configured the main router for connections via the Cisco VPN Client VPN Wizard.
When I install the VPN Client on desktop computers that does not capture all the necessary options (unless you have a SSL VPN). I guess that there is a process that I am missing to export a connection profile that Cisco VPN Client users can import for their connection.
There step by step guides to create the connection profile file to distribute to customers?
Hello
The ASDM wizard is for the configuration on the SAA. This wizard will help you complete the VPN configuration on the end of the ASA.
You will need to set the same in the client, so that they can negotiate and connect.
Input connection in the client field, that's what you want to be seen that on the VPN client - it can be any name
Host will be the external ip address of the ASA.
Group options:
name - same tunnel as defined on the ASA group
Password - pre-shared as on ASA.Confirm password - same pre-shared key.
Once this is over, you will see the customer having an entry same as a login entry. You must click on connect there. He will be a guest user and the password. Please enter the login crendentials. VPN connects.
You can distribute the .pcf file that is formed at the place mentioned in the post above. Once the other client receive the .pcf, they need to import it by clicking this tab on the VPN client.
Kind regards
Anisha

Can fast VPN and VPN Cisco coexist (WRVS4400N)
I am looking to buy a WRVS4400N to take care of my home network. While I get out on the road I want to VPN in my home network to my laptop (on which I installed Cisco VPN for the company's mobile access to my corporate network). In this spirit, I have three questions:
1. is the Cisco VPN client on my laptop be able to establish a VPN connection to unity WRVS4400N? I suspect not, and instead, I have to use fast VPN.
2. I understand there are problems in co existence with different suppliers, VPN clients (when I tried before with a Netgear router, the VPN Netgear client broke the Cisco VPN client). Quick VPN client Linksys can coexist with the Cisco VPN client without any problems?
3. a last resort, if Cisco and Linksys VPN can coexist, install the client quick VPN Linksys inside a VM Ware image would work (while the Cisco VPN client is still installed in the host operating system).
Thanks much for any help.
(1) correct. For WRVS4400N QVPN
(2) I run the Cisco VPN CLient and VPN fast on my laptop and seems fine

Help to configure Cisco VPN configuration
Hi guys,.
I need help in the configuration of the VPN from Cisco IOS. Basically, we have 2 routers of cisco 1811 in our society.
- Router 1 - router (IP 192.168.x.254) of Production
- Router 2 - router VPN (IP 192.168.x.251).
All computers/servers within our network has been configured with a default 192.168.x.254 gateway. Therefore, all internet traffic through the router to the production.
Now, we want to deploy a new router (Router 2) which will be used only for purpose VPN (for example, DMVPN, IPsec site-to-site, configuration of the client VPN etc.).
I have configured the router with Cisco VPN client 2 and can connect to this by using client applications VPN from my pc at home. However, once I connect to it, I'm not able to ping anything inside this network other than the IP Address of Router 2 (192.168.x.251).
Is there something else I need to put in the configuration, so that I can ping everything inside the network?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Vignesh.
Vignesh salvation,
I assume that you have created a new pool of vpn for remote access on Router 2 clients?
If so, you will need to have a route static (for the range of pool VPN) on Router 1 to Router 2.
I would like to know how you...
Please rate this post if helpful.

Mapping a network drive through VPN on a WRVS4400N router
I have a WRVS4400N router and have connected through the VPN Client quick 1.3.0.3 my laptop running XP. I can ping any IP on my network I can access HTTP addresses and distance desktop (VNC), but I cannot map a network drive.
The network drive on a PC running XP, I tried using the name of the system as well as the period of investigation and no mapping work. When it is connected directly to the LAN/WLAN router, there is no problem of mapping of the disks.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hey Blair,
because this issue concerns a product in small businesses of Cisco / Linksys range, I suggest move you into the community, where you will have a better chance to get expert advice.

Hello
I just bought a router from Cisco 887 and I deployed to replace my existing client ADSL router. I configured using Cisco CP, and it does not work properly. I'm trying to configure the router for VPN connectivity, so that users who use laptops can work from outside our office. I went through the wizard to set up an easy VPN client access server and I install the pre-shared key and the range of IP addresses. I tried to download the easy VPN client than the site says that I need some sort of agreement to be added to our account of partnership existing. I was able to find links to download after a few searches on Google, but none of the customers, during the configuration of the connection request a pre-shared key. So I know I'm wrong somewhere.
I'm a newbie at this, any kind of help would be really appreciated.
Thank you
Arun
Arun,
You must have a valid account of EAC with download rights for the VPN client.
If you already have the client, you must set the group name and the password (pre-shared key) to connect.
