  Dear all,

  There has been no response. This is my 2nd Portege for work and I can't go to the Hibernate in Windows or Ubuntu. What gives? I have this job and must close and run meetings with out having to stop and shut down all my programs that I have running. I need this laptop to Hibernate.

  I also have a DynaBook (of Japan) and the R830 running current House to run Win 7 64 - bit professional. They cannot Hibernate or the other.

  Can anyone help, because Toshiba cannot.

  My Dell Pro 11 place will not be upgraded Windows 10. It is said: ""Windows cannot be installed because this PC has a provision of disc not supported for UEFI firmware.".   There is no such thing as disabling Lightroom 5.7. Just uninstall the software.

  Looks like you have installed 6 Lightroom on two of your computers (including the MacBook Air). In this case, you must find and launch Lightroom 6 (not Lightroom 5.7 or any other version of Lightroom 5) on the MacBook Air and then in the menu help, select logout.

  After a certain period of time "away" from the edition he thought time to get back in it.  However, my Premiere Pro 1.5 will not start on my computer.  (Normally), it gets to loading Wave_Warp AEX, stop, think about it for awhile, then the re-boot computer itself!  It works fine on my laptop and I tried on my desk of wives without any problem.  I tried everything I can think to stop this happening, including a full system restore with the disc format hard drive thinking HARD own would agree, but no, the same result.  I suspect there is a compatibility problem with this computer, which is a version of Win XP Media Hewlett Packard media machine running.  Any help or advice appreciated - I have spent a lot of time trying to get this to work and it's before I started to edit!

  PS I'm very much a 'home' user, and if don't want to go to load again upgrade, only to find that would have the same problem - I had an older version of the 'trial' of Pro 2.0, but that had the same result, the computer has re-boots during loading.

• Satellite Pro L100 - DVD will not turn even upward

  My friend gave me an old Satellite Pro L100 PSLA4E 005009EN to look at. He acknowledges not or read the DVD. I tried using multimedia Nero, Cyberlink and VLC players, but they can't watch a DVD. A CD will play without a problem, but a DVD will not yet run abreast.

  If you're in Snow Leopard as your profile is displayed, follow these steps:

  Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive

  1 fix the hard disk and permissions

  Boot from your Snow Leopard installation disc. After the installer loads, choose your language and click on the button continue. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu. After that the charges of THE select your entry from hard drive (mfgr.   If the disc is OK then leave FROM and return to the installer.  Proceed to reinstall OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a new copy of Mac OS X, the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, elements of support and network preferences in the newly installed system.

  Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 v1.1 updated Combo.

  If the above does not work, then follow these steps:

  Clean Install of Snow Leopard

  Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

  1. start the computer using the Snow Leopard installation disc or disc 1 that came

  with your computer.  Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.

• LaserJet pro 400 m401 will not pick up paper

  My laserjet pro 400 m401 will pick up paper from the tray. I have not changed the paper I use. It's # 20 at Georgia-Pacific paper. The printer has not been dropped or abused. If anything, we have treated the printer very carefully and gently. Therefore, I suspect any damage physical/mechanical/electronic. The feed roller makes a squeaking/squealing noise when it runs. The printer then times out and the screen displays the message "no paper pickup. All stop there.

  I fixed it myself! One of the springs two compression at the end of the paper closest to the front of the printer tray became weaker. I've removed, carefully strained it and reinstalled it, and it works as good as new.

• OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus will not be printed

  I just bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus, and I've connected two PC and two iPads to it.  I also plugged on my Macbook Pro (iOS 10.6.8), but unlike four other devices, the Macbook will not print.

  The Macbook watch the installed printer, sends the print job, but nothing prints.  I reinstalled the printer, the driver updated and reset the system print, all nothing will do.   I know that the Macbook and printer can communicate because I can print a test page for the HP utility in the browser.

  You do not know this information helps, but I have observed in anticipation of eventually being removed from their own print jobs.  I also noticed that, strangely enough, a print job will appear in the queue, I try to print the levels of power, but I was not initialized it.

• BlackBerry Smartphones XP Pro on computer will not open Blackberry Desktop software

  I was unable to sync my BlackberryTour with Outlook 2010. We run XP Pro as operating system on the computer in question. Different versions of Blackberry Desktop software did not help. They will open the BB Desktop Software (Version 5.0) but will not sync to Outlook 2010 or the BB software charge apparently successfully, but does not open on the computer (Version 7.1).   Well, my problem is solved, thanks to the Blackberry phone support Saturday night. I finally gave up my own and Verizon called and they hooked me up with the support of Blackberry, and the wonderful technician found my problem.

  While they inspected the specification more carefully, I had already realized that although the original desktop provided with my tour software open on my desk, it is not compatible with Outlook 2010. So, who was never going to work for synchronization. Therefore, I uninstalled and deleted this software version (5.0, I think?) of my computer.

  Yet once I downloaded Blackberry Desktop 7.1 software, and even once, it simply does not open on my desk. But I didn't know where to look for incorrect setting and do not think I know if I saw him, necessarily.

I have desktop Dell that is wired through the router works fine, just like two other laptops wireless HP and a Sony Vaio that print wireless. The last two under Vista, so that the Dell laptop in question runs XP Professional and the Dell XP desktop computer. I have the same problem with a HP C4500 wireless that works very well with all the computers in my house except the Dell laptop. Any help is appreciated.
