difference of phase for LabView

Hi guys,.

I need help in this program I am writing. I'm trying to calculate the difference in phase between two different simulated sinusoids. I searched online and found out that I could do that using retrieves your unique information and subtracting one phase to the next. However, I struggle to connect the wires, and I'm not sure why he does not connect properly. Forgive me if this is a fundamental problem, as I'm new to LabView. Thank you. The program is attached.

aclx,

It would be probably better if you posted your question for the LabVIEW Board rather than the Board of Signal conditioning. This Board gets about 1% only as much traffic as the LV Board and your question has nothing to do with conditioning of signals.

You have two questions.

1. the Type of dynamic data (evil) generated by the screw Express mask all the information about what's on the wire.  It seems that the default conversion performed by the entry to retrieve only your Information.vi was in a table of waveforms.  This gives a picture of phases out. You can tell what kind of data is on a wire or why a thread is interrupted by pointing the cursor to tool of wiring on the wire with the open contextual help window.

2. the relationship of phase between two signals of different frequencies is not defined. What moment in time should be used as the reference?  How acquired or simulated signals relate to that time on the iterations of the loop?

The first issue can be fixed by explicitly converting DDT to a waveform as shown below.

For the second question, you need to define what you mean by the phase shift of two different frequency signals.

  • How to correct the difference of phase because without delay?

    Hello

I use the DAQ card 6024E to acquire three sine waves of 50 Hz sampling rate of 20 kHz, sample to read: 2000Samples. I need to view and measure the difference in phase between the signals. However, I understand that there is without delay, leading to the release of phase measurement. Taken from the book of graphical programming LabVIEW, it is advisable to entry for common signal and display on the same graph. use graphic cursors to measure the timing of the track-to-track of tilt. Then apply timebase correction values can be applied to data from setting X 0 (initial time).

What I tried that I have attached in the printscreen. But I don't know how to include the other channel in the same graph to compare the signal. Can someone enlighten me please how to do this?

    I'm using labVIEW 8.0.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the advice so far... but I always failed to implement the VI of tbd.

Here's how I solved it. I tried to change the start time in the book cited, but no change for her, even though the gap is increased, there still no change the displayed waveform. timestamps there were used to check that there is a change in the offset of seizures.

The need to implement so just align vi available in the library will work with an accuracy of all 0.01degrees of the waveforms.

    Well this problem solved!

    See you soon!

  • How to convert the file with VI for LabView .lib to CVI?

    Hello

I have the .lib file for my lock in the amplifier. The lib file is written for labView and already contains a visual interface (like ActiveX). The point is that I need this file for programming in CVI (8.5). How can I convert a LabView ICB .lib?

    Thank you.

    Denis.

You said that you had a .lib file and in fact you have an llb file. There is a huge difference between an "i" (eye) and a 'l' (ell).

There is a LabVIEW Instrument Driver Export Wizard but it's only for new pilots of project lifestyle and you need LabVIEW. There is no other way to convert a LabVIEW driver to a driver of the CVI. If the LabVIEW driver uses methods and properties of the ActiveX, you will need to write the same thing in CVI.

  • Support for LabVIEW 2016

Can someone tell me what VirtualBench drivers will be available for LabVIEW 2016?

Release date is... right now! NOR-VirtualBench 16.0, with the help of LabVIEW 2016, is available here:

  • Support of NOR-DNET for LabVIEW 2013

We currently use OR DNET 1.6.6 with LabVIEW 2011. I installed LabVIEW 2013 now also on my computer and tried to synchronize all of the drivers with my installation of LabVIEW 2011.

Well, it seems that NEITHER-DNET does not support LabVIEW 2013, at least officially. compatibility of Version of LabVIEW and NOR-DNET indicates that NEITHER-DNET 1.6.6 supports 2011 NOR-DNET 1.6.7 2012 LabVIEW and LabVIEW.

The list NOR system driver November 2013 set OR DNET 1.6.7 defined pilot. When I try to install it, there is no support for LabVIEW 2013.

My question is, if there is a plan to include support OR DNET for LabVIEW 2013 or later in the game to pilot?

I copied the directories vi.lib\DeviceNet and vi.lib\nidnet of LabVIEW 2011-2013 and I can load my programs without any problems. I always did not build an executable and does not run on the test set-up, but projects can be loaded in LabVIEW 2013 without any screws of brocken. should I expect any problems running LabVIEW 2013 with the NOR-DNET to 1.6.6 and 1.6.7 driver?

    Nick

There should not be problems but it is a former pilot, we will not be updated for the future version of labview.

  • What type of support for labview usb protocols?

Hello guys I want to connect a device to your pc via a usb port and I want to use labview to analyze the data.

But first of all, I would like to know what usb protocols support for labview.

USB, USB CDC and other TMC?

I ve read labview recognizes a raw device to the usb, but what is? Is it VI to read and send data, or I have to do? If these VI exists, they do the handshake? flow control?

    Thank you.

Please read the chips and have a look at the USB specification (it is linked to in the nuggets).

TMC, CDC, MAss Storage are all built on the basic USB protocols.

LabVIEW has no built-in support for one of these classes of devices except Test and measurement.

  • Entry value change when he went from teststand for labview.

    Hi all

I try to spend my labview VI value hexadecimal teststand. When I run the VI independently giving the value as 00000010 I get the expected results of the VI.  But even when value is passed through local variable teststand, when it reached VI of entry it was conerted to 000000 A 0 and so I'm getting wrong output.

I am not able to understand how the value goes to the value of the input parameter when she went from teststand for labview.

    Any ideas?

I discovered the error.  I was entering the value in the wrong format in teststand... instead of 0 x 10 I've entered only 010 and was therefore is converted to A.

  • The best way to draw the difference of phase vs. time of two signals

I have three channels (time, force, displacement) of approximately 1 000 seconds of a sinusoidal test load test data (sampling rate was 100 Hz).  I would draw the difference in phase between the force and displacement (perhaps using a second window 30) according to time.  I tried using a few different analysis functions, but I get what looks like random noise (phase difference between force and displacement is very small and the difference in amplitude is very fantastic - 4 orders of magnitude).  Any suggestion would be appreciated! -Jim

    Hi Jim,.

The phase channel resulting, that you get with the function FFT DIAdem is in the frequency domain.  If you select a channel data and time in the FFT dialog box, you will get a frequency channel that results as well as the Phase channel resulting.  If you select only a weather channel of waveform data in the FFT dialog box, you will get a Phase of waveform frequency channel resulting.

  • 1208fs for labview 10 usb connection problems

    Hello
I'm relatively new to Labview and just improved labview 10. I used 6.1 before and had no problems using my mcc Board of 1208fs USB to run experiences before. I tried to connect even to labview 10 on my new computer, and the only thing that will connect to the instacal is. Ive plugged throu instacal, but is not visible in the list of I/O that selects the channel to use. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Andrew

By the way, my os is windows xp

    Andrew,

MCC daq devices have a different set of drivers for LabVIEW 8.2.1 LV versions and newer.  See http://www.mccdaq.com/daq-software/universal-library-extensions-lv.aspx this is ULx.

I have one of the devices USB-1208 and discovered very recently this issue when I wanted to use it in a LV 8.5 application I wrote.  The new driver is actually nicer and DAQmx drivers a little resembles the way you use them.  While the former pilots of the Universal Library for older versions of LabVIEW looked like using traditional DAQ hardware drivers of OR.

  • Mcc usb 1208FS for labview 10.0 connection problems

I have version 10.0 of Labview installed on windows XP computer. I want to connect MCC USB 1208FS for Labview. Not able to see the device MCC in device of measurement and Automation Explorer interface. It appears? Please let me know the steps to access the device of the MCC in Labview.

I can see the MCC card detected in the software InstalCal of MCC supported. I installed the latest version of the CMC the CMC site software.

As far as I know, you will not be able to see physical computer as in MAX.

From the file of help from MAX: "Measurement & Automation explore (MAX) allows to access your National
Instruments of devices and systems. "that is material MCC is not a feature of National Instruments.

Why not stick with the InstaCal software and the MCC screws provided?
