• 2D raster scan photon counting optimization

  I wrote a VI for a scan 2D raster and pulse TTL of a photon counter to each pixel.

  It seems to work very well and is to serve its purpose for now. However, there is something I want to improve

  Currently, I have 2 loops, following the breast of one for each of the axes (x and y) for analysis. Then in the inner loop, I count the pulses. Now the problem I face is that I did not understand how to start the counter from 0 to each iteration. Instead, I do turn the meter twice in a for loop and the output of the difference between these two iterations using shift registers.

  I want to do is not have to count it twice for each iteration. I tried the task start and stop vi, but they seem to be doing nothing.

  The other thing that would be nice is to avoid loops. I heard that it is "expensive" to use loops and cause some general time in the program. I really don't think it bothers me at this point, but I think that if I do the scan rates more quickly then it might. I am currently scanning > 100ms per pixel.

  (And also, for the record, my wavefrom raster is slightly different in that in is a 'triangle' instead of. saw-tooth that it goes to the end of the fast axis, then begins the following line at the end rather than the beginning to avoid sudden jerks in my gear.)

  I can't help with your meter problems.

  The loops have some overhead. It is the order of a few nanoseconds. Then the loops are probably a little slower than for the lines because of the additional test. Compared to your DAQ timing the time loop is totally negligible. Look at the below test program.

  As you know (or can calculate) the number of steps, for loops is probably the best choice. I think that the conditional for the loop is available in LV 2011.

  You probably need to move channels AO create screws and clear Associates screws task outside of the loop. Connect the wires to the task via the shift register ID so that the value will be passed in the event where someone enters the start and end values that lead to zero iterations of the loop.

  Usually to speed things up you want to (indicators) out of the loop when it can be done without harming the feature all the calculations and display.  For example, the division by two can be moved to the outer loop; the entries do not change in the inner loop.  If you do not need to see every update immediately, reducing the number of writes to the curve of intensity amy speed up things a bit.

  Avoid the right of left child and behind other objects. These have no effect on the execution of the programme, but they make it much more difficult to understand what is going on and the problems of fine. I have attached a version purified to the top of your program.

I installed the latest Firefox, Realplayer and Flash player. I use Kaspersky firewall and several malware scan and registry fixers.
  The operating system is Windows 7 current.

  EBay says it's not their problem yet developed symptoms when they changed how they display the description of an item.

  You can try to clean now the Cache, Cookiesand Site preferences in Tools (Alt + T) > clear recent history.

• Scan of the computer allow

  Printer: HP Officejet 4620

  OS: Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

  I spent all last night on web chat with HP trying to get "my computer analysis" to work. I can scan from my computer fine. And printing is also very good. Just can't get it to run a scan from the printer display. It comes up with an error saying: a computer cannot be found and that I need to make sure the software is installed on my computer. We tried:

  (1) for "scan my computer" utility HP---> will not

  (2) uninstall by using HP software (while maintaining the comand, option and control) and then reinstall---> still will not

  (3) repair permissions disc---> will still not

  We spent a lot of time trying to get "scanning HP 3"install, but whenever we reinstalled the software of HP it was only "HP Scan" installed. Is it a distraction?

  Point of desperation to reach now. Any ideas?

  Solved my problem. My computer had a name.

  (1) FOR loops are your friend here.  You can make a slight restructuring using loops, and then you will have less mess to deal with, the inner loop through tunnels of autoindexing to make it even simpler.

  (2) I would only treat the numeric values of the characters.  So go terminal of control of the chain, the capital letters and byte array to before the outer loop.  You can use a size of Board over there to tell how many times the outer loop to iterate.

  (3) the Index table is extensible.  So you only need over the index of the first, and it will increment itself, as it develops.

  (4) you need to finish the lookup table (table 3D)

  I would like one graph to view the input data and modified by one of the two cases of different event structure.  So if the event 1 is selected by the user, the data would be entered by the code contained in 1 case and then introduced in a waveform to display chart.  If the event case 2 is selected, similar data would enter the 2 cases but then displayed by the same graphic waveform , as in case 1.  I don't know if there is a way to do this... it seems that each case of the event would need its own array of waveform, but it becomes quickly heavy regarding the graphical interface for the multiple cases of event.

  I am not able to use the scan to computer function from the front panel of the printer to a PC recently updated.

  On the front panel, I press 'Scan', then 'computer '. The name of the computer to which I want to scan is listed, so I select it. The scan preview screen appears then I press 'analysis '. After a standby display told me that the computer does not have to check the cable, etc...

• Sequence special error in DAQmx create raster scan with 2 Motors of stepper motors: Error Code 200088

  I am trying to create a LabVIEW program that controls two bipolar motors to create a raster scan. I use DAQmx and Labview 2012 SP1 with a usb 6008. I got the engines to move in one direction, but when I try and get them to move in another direction in a separate task, I get an error-200088 code indicating that my task is not valid. This happens at the beginning vi to move the motor x in the opposite direction of the task.

  The logic underlying the program is as follows:

  1. move the engine x a certain number of steps to the right

  2. move the engine are a number of steps down

  3. move the engine x the same number of steps as 1 to the left

  4. get off the engine is the same number of steps 2

  5. repeat

  I can get the steps 1 and 2 work but I have problems with step 3. I use a stacked sequence to show the task for each step.

  I appricate all the advice on this topic as part of a final year project

  You can solve this problem very simply.  Move all DAQmx departure calls happen * before * the structure of sequence rather than inside.  Similarly,.

  move all calls to DAQmx Stop and DAQmx Clear happen * after * the structure of sequence rather than inside.

  I would sequence the DAQmx Write calls to write the bit of direction * before * writing the bit clock.   And I highly recommend that wire you

  to the top of your tenants error and outs so you can be informed of any errors in the DAQmx tasks.

• HP Deskjet 3050 a J611n: scan of the computer is no longer available since windows 10 download

  After downloading windows 10 to my laptop last week surprise, I can't scan from this upgrade and get the message that the scan to the computer is no longer available. I tried different routes to make it work again in settings, but I can't get the article that will allow me to choose scan of the computer. I also seem to have something in 10 called windows webscan, I can't activate it either. Any ideas how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm sorry it doesn't - there are perhaps other issues (HP or Microsoft drivers and software) preventing to install printing software and works as expected.

  Migration from one operating system to another can be brutally hard on the file system.

  Going to bed.

  A few random ideas:

  When you try again - restart all:

  • Shut down / off everything, including the router (and all connected mobile devices) >
  • Leave the router (in condition off the coast) a few minutes > bootstrap router > wait a minute >
  • Start or computers on the network > mobile devices from start > printer start

  Remove any program of printing of programs and features

  Make sure that your Adobe Reader DC is on the latest version (and Flash, too)

  Printer's happiest with an Ethernet - and a static IP address if you have stability issues

  Run Windows updates several times after a migration; There are sometimes more than one session so that everything is loaded.   Check to see if you are ready to install the "other Microsoft" software with your Windows updates.  View history.  He tells you?  Not sure - always good to know what Microsoft adds to your system...

  Start (screen) > settings > update and security > Windows Update > Advanced Options

  If you are running McAfee security - you might need to update, reinstall it, or disable it temporarily.  (I don't really know this; I guess.)

  Switch your UAC (User Account Control) to "notify me only when apps to try to make changes...» "(slider / option second from the bottom):

  Control Panel > display icon > user accounts <> change user accounts control settings

  I had tried most of the steps that you propose before displaying the original question, but thinaks for suggesting it is useful to check.

  I managed to fix it myself.

  Basically the pop-up window was left during a previous installation of HP hardware. Even though I used the uninstall program provided, it was not completely uninstalled (annoying). So I uninstalled the new printer and then went through the registry and deleted any reference to previous material, the new printer, any other hardware HP, etc... I do not get into the registry to do this kind of thing but if the 'correct' uninstall program do not do so I have no choice.

  I then installed the printer again and it works fine. Now when I press the button it scans directly to the computer of choice and Windows Explorer appears to show the new file.

  If someone else is a similar problem and plan to do what I did then I have to remind you of the dangers of editting the registry...

• HP Envy 100 - impossible to activate the scan from the printer

  I use an iMac end of 2012 and spin the Mavericks. Envy is connected to my WiFi.

  I was never able to get the urge to turn on a scan from the printer. When I press on the analysis on the printer, I get 3 options and choose 'computer '. I can get some information from introduction to scanning the computer. He says this analysis for computer is activated automatically when the printer is first set up and I need to have installed the HP printing software. This means to me that something has not been properly Setup and I can't work it out. I just updated my software as a result of Mavericks. I regularly print to the printer and am able to activate a scan of my computer.

  I read a few posts on the software uninstallation. If necessary, I don't know what needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled and how I could do that.

  Can anyone help?

  HI - my apologies for the slow response.

  Would it not possible to check to see if "Scan to Computer" is enabled in the utility application from HP?  This application must be in the folder Applications/Hewlett-Packard.

  Once the application opens, you may need to select your device if it is not already selected.  The configuration option "Scan to Computer" should appear at the bottom of the document window (see attachment "Utility HP - selected ENVY").

  Try to open the "Scan to Computer" configuration item and display settings.  Please refer to attachments "utility HP - Scan to computer do not activated" and "Utility HP - compatible computer Scan" for what that might look like if the feature is enabled or disabled.

  Let me know what you see.

  Also - since your connection to the printer on a wireless network, have you tried to move the printer closer to the router or wireless access point wireless?  I'm curious to know if there may be some intermittent network connectivity that is to interrupt the function computer scanning.  I would try to move the printer right next to the wireless router access point / wireless to see if that helps the issue.

  I will continue to work on this issue for you to get the help you need.

  I have officejet pro 8600, it allows to scan to my pc, but I change to a new room and changed the password and now it will print and scan from my pc, but not the printer to the pc, I set myself until I have change the pass with the switch, but now who would not work and now I can't even come...   By the sounds of your post, it only appears that all background programs running on your Windows 7 computer is originally interference when trying to scan to your HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer. Before the reactivation of these background programs can I please have you try the following steps.

  Enable the computer analysis:

  1. click on the HP Printer Wizard on your computer desktop icon:

  

  2. click on Actions of the Scanner, then Manage scanning to computer.

  3. click on Activate to activate the scan function. If the scan function is already enabled, click disable, and then click Activate again.

  4. on the printer control panel, press Scan (), support on computerand then tap the name of the computer that is displayed.

  If the scan of the computer working now, please activate your start-up services through the 'step 5: reactivate MSCONFIGthe steps I described in my post above.

  Once Msconfig services are activated, try to scan from the front panel of your printer to see if your computer is always present.
