Drivers of Yosemite MF4350d

These drivers will be available? Currently, neither Apple nor (it seems) Canon has a compatible driver. I hate the idea that I need to replacea perfectly good unit for this reason.

Hi Wawoodman.

Mac OS X 10.10, for the imageCLASS MF4350d, drivers are available for download from the Canon USA site.  It is recommended, if the drivers for OS X 10.9 have been installed previously, you uninstall the drivers.  Please follow the instructions below to uninstall the drivers:

1. open [System Preferences]-> click [Printers & Scanners]. * The screens may be different.*

2 Select the printer you are using-> click the [---].

Delete all the print queues set the driver that you are deleting.

3. delete the folders and files for the driver that you delete.

  • [System volume] / library/printers/Canon/UFR2
  • [System Volume]/Library/LaunchAgents/jp.co.canon.UFR2.BG.plist
  • Mac OS X 10.5 and later versions:
    [System Volume]/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/CNTD***Z*2*.ppd.gz
Where * indicates a string that represents the model of the printer, and * 2 * indicates a string that represents the language.

Important

If you delete one file other than the model of the printer to remove "PPD.gz", it can be that the printer driver does not work correctly.

Note:

If the [authentication] dialog box is displayed, enter the names of the directors and password-> click [OK].

4 restart your computer and empty the trash.

Uninstall is complete.

Then, reinstall the drivers.  Please click the link below to download the drivers:

  • Scanner not found - Mac OS 10.11 El Capitan with HP Scanjet G4010

    Hello

I need help, it's driving me crazy. The last time I've used this scanner was a few days ago and now its does not work.

I'm Mac OS 10.11 El Capitan with HP Scanjet G4010, it's a plugin via the USB port.

I went on HP website for maybe update the driver, it seems that one does not exist?

I have unplugged and restarted twice and re-downloaded the 10.10 OS driver, just in case and nothing.

If I run the application image capture and the scanner appears under devices, research for a minute, then says "no camera or scanner connected."

    Thank you!

    Hello

Any compatible OS listed in the download section, it is incompatible with El Capitan.

You can try the drivers of Yosemite and check if they might work on the newer operating system:

  • OfficeJet 7612 - scanning in the Yosemite Mac problem

    Hello

A few days ago, I bought an all-in-one OfficeJet 7612 and from the beginning I am not be able to scan to the computer (only to emails or usb).

    It's what I've tried and I get:

    1. Install the drivers and full software from the CD provided with the product: It appears to turn on the option scan to the computer . But whenever I try to do, a message in the iMac says: could not establish a connection with the printer.
    2. Download the last update on the HP driver support site: He always says that to computer scan cannot be enabled, and that I should download and install the latest driver.
    3. Installation using AirPrint printer: It recognizes the printer and even the fax feature, but never the scanner.

I don't no what to do, it looks like there is no full support for my 7612 in Yosemite.

Can anyone help me?, I'm doing something wrong?

OK, I managed to do this work, that's what I did:

    1. Uninstall the HP driver through the uninstall program that comes with it.
    2. I deleted these two files from the: < youruserhere > /Users//Library/Preferences
    • com.apple.print.custompresets.forprinter.Officejet_7610_series.plist
    • com HP. DeviceMonitor.plist
    1. Restart the iMac (I don't know if that helped, but I did anyway).
    2. Install the printer using AirPrint.

I deeply thank RnRMusicMan who was helping me through all this time trying to make this work.

I hope this can help someone who found this problem too.
