E8A11UA #ABA: laptop HP ENVY 17 of TS

The muting of the keyboard light does not work after update to the last version of Windows 10. Please tell us how to solve the problem.

Hello

Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe

Then, hold down the Windows key and press R In the Run box, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

In the Device Manager window, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When finished, restart the laptop.

Let Windows load completely.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

Kind regards

Well the other day I had a Web page to the top on my screen. I have to turn around and get back on my screen and the laptop looks like it is off. I tried everything and finally took it to a store because she seems to be the motherboard or the CPU, because there is no lights except when the battery charge indicator is and the adapter connects. So the store tells me that my assuptions looks good, it turns out that my motherboard is shot. Is this a known problem with these laptops? My laptop is slightly more than a year, but outside the warranty. Does anyone know the model of motherboard for this laptop and how much it costs:

  • Windows 7 drivers for the computer laptop hp envy 15-j001er

Hello. I have a laptop hp envy 15-j001er, who initially had Windows 8 OS. I will install Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 (cause I don't like 8). But there is no driver for win7 to the model of my laptop HP's official website and also on the NVidia site for my video card. What should I do? Where can I find the drivers?

For other drivers you need, you can use all the W7 x 64 drivers from the G1 to 450 Probook.

  • HP Envy 14 w / Nvidia GTX 950 m: degradation of Gaming Laptop HP Envy

    Hello

I recently bought my laptop HP Envy a year ago and I used it moderately for school and work. I made sure to buy the GTX included 950 m graphics card so I could play some of my steam games and I'm just starting to achieve a degradation in the performance of my laptop. I do not speak of degradation when I bought the laptop so far but I'm not talking about just playing a game and having amazing performance (graphics on medium-high and about 50 to 60 images per second), but after like 5 minutes of play he is slowly starting to soak as 14-15 fps. In particular, I tried playing Overwatch today and had an amazing gameplay for the first 5 minutes, but I dropped up to 15 images/s and it's hardly playable. I tried to change the resolution and that seemed to have fixed however the same problem happened five minutes again.  I have no idea why my laptop it would especially since I have not really used a lot for the game this year and I'm sure to maintian computer performance by updating the drivers, reboot often and defraging.

    CrazyAce

I think that I finally found a solution to the problem. I was on my laptop of friends (which is similar to mine) and noticed that she had not updated its geforce experience. So I've updated for her and she began to notice the same problems I had. It turns out that this experience of NVIDIA GeForce is not really necessary for the games because it does not include the graphics driver. So as soon as I uninstalled, all started to run surprisingly. Time just in the better together performance and faster startup, no fps drop. Who would have known to try to uninstall the software, only that I have to refer to the graphics card to make my graphics card will be smoother and does not affect my computer.

Thanks for the time to help out me if. I'm so happy that I figured this out.

  • How to install and configure an SSD 256 on my laptop HP ENVY 17-3290NR (3D)?

I'd appreciate some advice how to add an SSD 256 (Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256?) to my laptop HP ENVY 17-3290NR (3D).  The laptop came standard with a 80 GB mSATA + 1 TB hard.  I would use the SSD 256 as the stand drive and install the operating system and programs on this drive and store all the data of the 1 TB HD.

What should I do with the mSATA SSD 80 GB? Where should I install the SSD 256? HD slot-1 or slot-2?  Thank you in advance for your help and instructions on how to proceed.

It's interesting. Normally a bootmgr error message means that the bootloader is corrupted and hard disk not 'dead '... Replacing the hard drive is a quickie shotgun method to solve the problem.

Have you given up on the SSD?

The office (w/ASUS Crossfire V formula-Z mobo) I use this type, has the same SSD that you asked. I used the method that I described in the previous post to clone the OS for the SSD. The SSD is the startup disk.

  • HP envy m6 laptop: computer laptop HP Envy M6 does not illuminate

My laptop HP envy m6 worked great for 3 years. I used it mainly for homework and games. I keep dormant and restart once a month. But about a month ago I stopped it completely, and later I came to start it and it would not turn. No lights or anything like that. I plugged it in and it has continued to have no sign of life. I pulled out and blew on the battery then replaced and it works. A week after I stop it again and the same problem occurred, I left hip and left a few hours back and press the power button and it came on. Today the same problem has occurred but it won't turn. So far I have pulled out and blew the load on the battery, replaced cable and left that it plugged in for hours. No forums got me a solution yet. Thanks in advance

I understand you would like to know if the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 M in the HP 15 t Envy is the DDR3 or GDDR5?

When I checked Maintenance of laptops HP ENVY and Service of Guide, looking at the memory specifications it States they are DDR3 type.  I can't say for some, but most likely the GTX950M is also of this type for compatibility purposes.

  • A9P58UA #ABA: cannot use recovery DVD in the DVD player laptop external Envy 15-3033 CL

I had to replace the hard drive of the laptop. A directed recovery DVD from HP. The internal DVD did not work, so I'm an external LG DVD player, model GP50NB40. I put the boot order in the BIOS to USB CD/DVD. However, the laptop does not recognize the DVD in the drive. I get a message this is something to the extent of the 'no disk bootable found '. I also hit F9 and selected the external drive to boot from without success. And for some reason, I also hit F11. Same message.

I tested the DVD drive on another computer and it works fine. I changed the USB cable on the laptop to another port. No change. Does anyone have an idea how to proceed to load the software on the new drive? Thank you in advace for your time.

    Hello:

I see that your laptop has 2 USB3 ports and 1 USB2 port specifications.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-envy-15-notebook-PC-series/5186791/model/5223304/document/c03151875/

You need to boot from the USB 2 port.

It would be the only suggestion I can offer.

    Hi again,

The only difference between a 7200 RPM and a disk 5400 RPM is the number of turns. We hear two support SATA II and III, but the 7200 RPM is faster. The best way to clone the disks is to get a usb to SATA adapter or a SATA docking station and use the DD command or other software to clone the drive.

    http://Uranus.chrysocome.NET/Linux/rawwrite/

Yes, you can use a larger mSATA SSD 120 GB and I suggest a Samsung EVO. The reason is that Samsung provides a migration utility to migrate in the original hard drive to mSATA SSD which is a difficult task because solid discs are mostly much smaller than HDDs. There is also another problem and that is that Windows 8 is very difficult to install as a new system for the system must be cloned from the HDD to the SSD.

If you manage to migrate the original hard drive to the mSATA, you connect the original hard drive (any drive you want as the storage) via the usb port (use an adapter or a station again) and install a third-party hard disk bootloader because the BIOS won't let you boot from the mSATA. Then put the hard drive in the laptop and boot up. Finally configure the boot loader to boot from the mSATA.

This app will allow you to install the bootloader called Plop: http://www.pendriveapps.com/bootice-partition-flash-drive-edit-boot-sector/

  • Product name: HP ENVY 15 No. TS: docking station for my laptop HP ENVY 15 TS

I just bought this laptop and I need to buy a station of dociking to it.

With my previous laptop was a connector on the bottom which would align with the docking station and to operate.

The HP ENVY 15 TS laptop does not seem to have special connections. What dociking it uses station?

    Thank you

Consumer laptops no longer have an option for a dock "bring down" which is a shame but the standard in the industry today. HP Business models have this option. The only thing that you can use with the consumption patterns is a USB 3.0 'docking station' which is a misnomer because they are really 'port replicator. However, USB 3.0 has a bandwidth sufficient to reproduce all the ports on the laptop so that they can have gigabit ethernet, sound and video quality even multi-monitor which works very well.

    Something like this:

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-Replicator-docking-H1L08AA-ABA/DP/B008KMDVME

See, this one has 2 x usb x 2 2 3 usb, audio, ethernet, hdmi and displayport. It has its own power when you connect laptop connect two cables from the laptop... of its own power cord and then plug into a usb 3.0 port on the laptop. Almost as fast as "align to the bottom."
