ENVY 700-311na: my motherboard will return in this case?

Hi, Corsair has me ask to HP so I thought I'd ask just the Forum. What is the motherboard MSI Kaili works with a card mother Corsair Carbide 600 c? I know it's Μatx but the corsar link does not actually list Μatx. If anyone knows please answer that I will get this case in a few weeks, provided its use. See you soon

http://www.Corsair.com/en-GB/carbide-series-clear-600C-inverse-ATX-full-tower-case

Hello

The case is a full ATX case and the motherboard is a Μatx card that is much smaller. We must ask this question to Corsair: standard Μatx Council will agree to this case?, don't ask HP because HP does not have Corsair case.

Normally full tower case also has 'holes' for Μatx cards, BUT again, you must ask Corsair, not HP. HP uses Μatx standard board.

Kind regards.

  • HP Envy 311na 700: HP Envy 700-311na - no monitor output work

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this.

    No.: G9B05EA #ABU

    Model n °: 700-311na

My PC works absolutely fine for the last two months, until what I tried to put on yesterday.  My problem is that my screen displays "signal found" despite my branch above Tower.

    Start-up and testing:

    • When starting my PC I get the usual beeps and the Red led on it becomes as it normally would.
    • The wifi light is on as it should be, on the front of my Tower.
    • The usual flashing light also works as usual on the front of the tower.
    • The fans work properly when turned on.
    • My wireless keyboard and mouse are recognized as soon as a key is pressed or the mouse moves, like light blue on my connector USB lights up as it normally would.
    • The CD open/close readers as it should.

    What I've tried so far:

    • Turning off and on again (no luck).
    • Remove the power cord from the computer and hold the power button for 15 seconds before reconnecting and powered it back up (no luck).
    • Connect my turn to another monitor via HDMI (no signal found error also on this one).
    • With the help of my usual PC monitor for other things (my xbox entry was detected immediately on the monitor via HDMI).
    • By using all the methods of display output 3 available with my usual monitor (DVI, HDMI, DP), none of them worked and all would result in no error signal on the screen.
    • Withdrawal/meeting the cables of the screen.  This does not give rise to my monitor to turn on as if is acknowledged the connection has been established to an output device, but once the display lights I get the usual error message ("this is the case with two DVI and DP connections, HDMI does not give me a lot of joy, but maybe it's because she's going through a ' 1 autodetect in 3 out" HDMI splitter.)  The separator acknowledges, that the HDMI is connected, but I get the normal red light that appears when a Powered HDMI is bound upward).

    What I did:

    • Touched the BIOS.
    • Damaged the machine.
    • Disassembled the machine somehow.

I'm full of ideas on what else to try.  I had the PC for more than a year and has a problem similar to that in the first months of her own, I think it's something to do with the power supply cable (a friend looked for me), but he managed to make it work back again.  Unfortunately I am no longer able to contact my friend on this problem, so I am completely in the dark.  Help would be very appreciated (please avoid some specialized terms as I am a little one recruit across a company PC fixing).

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Thank you for your response.  Fortunately, I can offer you a solution to my own question!  In my view, a windows update 10 can occur during the last stopped that I made.  The update I think doing something to the BIOS that was the issue.

I did the following steps and managed to get the display to start working again:

    1. Turn on the computer and press the F10 key for eight seconds.

  • HP Envy 700-311na: a GTX 1060 will agree and will work in my PC?

    Hello!

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU one AMD Radeon R9 270 the new GTX 1060 (or other).

I understand that there are several versions of a GPU and I don't know what is best for my PC. I'm especially afraid the 1060 does not fit into my PC.

Here is a link to my PC and its specifications: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04343334

    Here is a link on the 1060 GTX that interests me now: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01IPFMVCQ/ref=s9_simh_gw_g147_i1_r?ie=UTF8 & fpl = fresh & pf_rd_m = A3...

    Thank you

Since it is small and tight. You want the kind of style of card fan. If you don't get that kind. You are trapping just hot air inside your case and will make the card running more hot. I have a GTX 1080 founders edition in mine and it fits well.

Now, you know for SURE!  If you go with the 1070. Change the power supply. I had the same stock 500w version in mine. As you know. It has a 8 pins and power connectors 6 pin with this power supply. The 1080 requires an 8 pin. So, I plugged this in there.

When I put a load on it. My PC will restart. I knew it was a power supply problem. So, I tried to take the 2 6 pin power plug and those with the power adapter 8 pin supplied with the card used. While it worked. There was a groan of excessive coil of card and he ran hotter inside.

I imagine pushing the stock PSU to many. I changed out immediately after that a SuperNOVA P2 EVGA 650w PSU and its dead silent now.

No equipment issues at all. Photo attached.

  • 700 - 311na envy: 700-311na

3 days ago, the PC stopped randomly. then turn. I checked lead which seems fine. When connecting the cable to the computer, I can see sparks through the air at the top right grid at the rear. Once connected, the green light on the back of the unit is on. When you press the switch, the green light came out and nothing else happened.

Today, I plugged the PC into another outlet and I have sparks and the green light, but this time the PC turns on and loads as expected. then in a fefw minutes (loading is barely over and I only opened the window of the companion HP) the PC shuts off and turns on again. It has done this 3 times and I have swihed it again.

I bought the PC new in Jan.

Help, please. Sparks inside the device is certainly not a good thing.

I would use 3 or 4 screens simultaneously running my PC with a different application.  That would be the ideal situation for my family tree project.  Is this possible?  Do I need another graphics card?  The graphics on the PC is an AMD Radeon R9 270, it already has 2 outputs and HDMI output but I struggle with this output, I can't use at the same time as the other 2 outputs.

According to the specifications of this video card:

    • Support up to three displays simultaneously in the following configuration:

Please help I'm dying for a response

    Greetings,

    Seems good.

960 is 9.5 inches in length and requires a power of 400 W.

Check the clearance in the tower. Measure along the 645 to verify that you can adapt a 9.5 inch to 10-inch card in the case.

Hard drive cage can be in the way.

Check that your has a PCIe auxiliary cable as the 960 supply requires six extra pins to connect. The manufacturer will usually provide an adapter if you need. Or you can get one online.

After doing this, I get wood but I am not able to find the main graphics card to IGP > PCI > PIE for him to run at the same time.   Is this okay, I am I doing somethig wrong. Is there something that I am missing.

    Hello again @Joebarnes,

Ahh well integrated graphic card does not work with the new card is installed. This means you will need an active USB-> DVI or Active USB-> HDMI graphics card to connect the additional monitor. These can be easily found via a search online. Be warned that they will not even display those directly related, quality but they have audio and video capabilities.

I hope this helps. Thank you again for post you on the HP Forums. Have a wonderful day!

    Hi there @BobMarley

I understand you are looking for assistance for the recovery of the BIOS by using the shortcut, or by using a USB key. I'm happy to help you with this.

Here are two documents for you to check. Of course, the first is specific to desktop computers and covers the shortcut key. The other property that for laptops also includes a section on the use of a USB device.

    Desktop HP - BIOS recovery

HP Notebook PC - restore BIOS

Also on the support forums, there is a process described by @HaggisCat, you can find of use in the preparation of a USB flash drive. You will need to have the correct BIOS softpaq to go with it.

I buy a HP ENVY 700-230qe, my current dell monitor will work smoothly with the installed graphics GeForce GTX 645 card?

    Bama11, welcome to the forum.

After reviewing the specifications of the computer and the monitor, I see no reason why the monitor does not work very well.  I suggest to update the software and the driver to the latest version for the monitor and video card.  I have a suggestion, if you have not ordered the compupter buy 600W power supply (PSU).  It will be better food for the video card and the future updates.

I would be grateful is we would give you an update when you buy the computer.

So just a week after the arrival of my new desktop PC (earlier this year), I had a massive failure of hardrive. Having said that I do not think there sucj a problem just install the new SSD in read to send the unit back to HP for repair. I needed this system running and had no time to wait than the lead time of him having returned repaired, about 7-10 days. Yes, it was a huge mistake that has made this system essentially unusable. I did not like the unit running windows 8.1 because it was not a touch screen. I got a new Windows 7 Pro, which I installed it and he posted fine and oots upwards in seconds. No audio beats, but it's not really my thing, no biggie. I can not find information on obtaining network, adapters, Lan, Wan drivers and basically can not access my services Adobe CC, which is my main fucntion. • Update graphics card on HP Envy 700

I recently bought a HP Envy 700 computer, try to use it as our central entertainment PC, only to find out that the HDMI output spit only 2.0 sounds while I need a 5.1 surround sound.

Did some research and found that the video cards only newer and more fanciful have this function.   Bought a Radeon R7 260 X Video Card plugged in, but the motherboard would not recoganize it.

Then I realized that it is possible that the motherboard (IPM87-MP by Pegatron) is not compatible with the video card, or maybe because the 450W power supply is not enough.

I would be highly appreciated if the PC experts could advise on how I can make it work.

    Thank you!

    Hello:

On the PCs come with Windows 8, you will need to change 2 BIOS settings in order to use a video card no HP in your machine.

Please see the info on the link below and I hope that's it, that is.

  • HP Envy 700-470na: changing the case of the HP Envy 700-470na.

Today, I upgraded my PSU and GPU for my HP Envy 700-470na. The case for my PC is too small and I can barely sort out the cables.

If someone can recommend a decent case that is less than £50, can put all the pieces of pc HP in the case like the motherboard, hard drive etc and lots of space for the circulation of air and cables. Who would be appreciated! Thank you. I hope that my problem can be resolved soon.

    PSU - Corsair CX600M
    GPU - EVGA GTX 970

The form factor for the motherboard is: Μatx: 24.4 cm (9.6 inches) x 24.4 cm (9.6 inches).  You must buy a case that is made for this.  This means that the accessory in the case must match the holes in the motherboard.  HP has their mothers caught their specifactions cards.  So, they can be standard.  In addition, the connectors in the case may not match the connectors on the motherboard.  The front connector for the power button is the one who comes to mind.  It is very difficult to recommend a case that is certain to work.  You can find the case you like and contact the manufacturer for Technical Support to see if they can make sure it will work for your components.

  • HP Envy 700-215XT: it fits?

Hello, I bought a HP ENVY 700-215XT HP recently. I'm a PC gamer, so I want to change my graphics card to a gigabyte g1 gtx 970, my most important question, will she made? Is it compatible?

    Hello

your first concern should be a diet... the gtx 970 has a suggested minimum power of 500w... yours is an OEM 300 w without external power connectors... first get a PSU w 600 or 650

come to the part of editing, the card is a 10.5 inch... your motherboard is a 9.6 * 9.6 and therefore the 970 will cover the length of your mobo... it's not a problem, but if there's a huge mangle of son in your pc then tie up carefully or get a modular PSU... result is, it will fit but make sure the inside is not crowded then the card can heat too

Compatibility depends on your bios... .the 970 requires UEFI BIOS to run and your pc stand so no worries there

    Hope this helps
