ePrint - error not connected

My printer keeps appearing as not connected to the ePrintCenter and do not print.  When the printer is restarted, it seems clear, print some documents, and then later, just go to the offline state.  Any ideas?

Those of you who have had difficulties, please try a connectivity ePrint, Print Apps and ePrintCenter even now... the maintenance ePrintCenter message was erased and I believe that you can find all of the improved results.

If you have difficulties, you can try the actions below in order (for example, try #1 and if you continue to have a difficultles, try #2, etc.):

1. turn off Wifi then on again

2. power cycle your printer

3. Remove and then reactivate web services (this will result in your printer, get a new email address)

Thanks for your comments.

  • ePrint - printer not connected?

I just plugged my new series of e-all-in-one HP ENVY 110 - D411. I signed up for an e-mail address for my printer. I sent an email to the address of the printer. It comes as pending on the list of the work on the ePrintCenter. I also went in the printer settings to check that ePrint was turned on. This is the case. EPrintCenter! said it is "not connected". Any idea where I should start troubleshooting?

    Hello

The first thing I would try is turning the printer off and on again.

The second thing I want to do is to follow step 6 in this document to set a static IP address: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02817031
When it askes for the DNS information, enter in Google DNS. Preferred DNS = DNS Alt = 8.8.4.4 8.8.8.8

If it does not help if you could provide me the following information, it would help me to first, which is your ISP (Internet Service Provider, as Comcast, AT & T, Verizon, etc.)? Second, who is the manufacturer of your router? Finally, what is the version of the model number and the firmware on the router?

  • HP Laser Jet professional P1102w - error not connected

Hoping someone out there can give me some advice!

I had the same printer for years and it has worked reliably until yesterday, when I suddenly started getting a "not connected" and "Printer offline" error messages when you try to print. I wonder if my maid accidentally pressed something? I tried all the usual unplug, turn on/off the printer and computer, and connections.

Printer is connected to the last Apple Time Capsule and goes up to Mac (current 10.8.4) via my network. Worked fine until yesterday. When I print a free text through the printer, the Network Information section reads "status: not connected. Everything else with Time Capsule works fine: I'm connected to the Internet through Time Capsule, managed to go up to Time Capsule, etc..

Any ideas on how to fix? Thank you!

    Hello

Try it reconnect to your network using WPS listed for Time Capsule below:

    https://discussions.Apple.com/message/21555447#21555447

Once the Airport utility, waiting for a Wi - Fi printer on the printer control panel, press the Wireless button ( ).

The wireless light starts to blink.

Wait up to two minutes for the printer establishes a connection with the airport database.

Also, even though it is not stated in the article, putting to Vista or 7 would also "resolve" the issue.

  • ePrint does not connect

The printer prints wireless but won't connect to the computer (webservices custom engage/connect...so ever, I just can't get a code of request.) Very frustrated... stayed in it for a while now. I was referring to the router. You shouldn't have any problems with the router powered off. Sometimes routers must restarted to restore adequate connectivity for some devices.

  • OfficeJet6500A more - ePrint Setup error - this printer could not connect to the server

My 6500 a is connected to the internet and I am able to print wireless.

When you try to set up ePrint, I go through the following menu path: installing, configuring Web services, the printer email address.

I get the message error "this printer could not connect to the server.

I have read and tried the others 'solutions' on the plate that involved turning market eprint, crossing out-lit power cycles, turning wireless on and outside, turning on the printer and wait 5 minutes, restoration of factory settings...   Nothing works.

    Any ideas?

From one day to the next it printed the ePrint address, so I guess that the problem was with the HP sever.

  • HP8600 does not connect to the ePrint Server

HP8600 does not connect to the ePrint server at all. I double checked all the settings and I can print to it from my applications when you are connected to the same network, but try to access the server of ePrint from the screen of the printer or the web interface cannot establish a connection.

The printer is connected via a wireless network and can be printed from any device connected to our network.

Everything indicates that there should be good. But can't seem to make bad connection ePrint. No error message not developed.

The printer is on a network of b/g/n 2.4 GHz connected to a Netgear N600 DUal Band (WNDR3700 model).

Version of the firmware of the printer is CLP1CN1232AR

Any ideas? It does not appear to be blocked by a firewall, so really lost here.

    Hello

Try to define an alternative DNS and check if that can help you:

    1. Tap the wireless on the top of the screen of the printer and look for the IP address is.
    2. Navigate to throguh IP of the printer, the web browser on your PC.
    3. Click the network tab.
    4. Under, click IPv4 wireless.
    5. Under the DNS Configuration, select manual.
    6. Set the address preferably as 8.8.8.8
    7. Set the e-mail address alternative as 8.8.4.4
    8. Click on apply to confirm the change.

Now, turn the printer off and turn it back on and check for the difference.

  • Want 4500: Connection error! The printer could not connect to the server

Connection error! The printer could not connect to the server!

I am successfully connected to my router and can print from my pc and my ipad with airprint.

PC "will not find"the printer either for purposes of updating

I went to the ip address but was unable to click on "wireless (802.11)", as recommended by a last response forum, as the next low 'status '.

    Can anyone help?

    Very frustrated customer :-(

    Hi @roopuk,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Sometimes the manual DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 won't work in some configurations of network users.  Try the same steps as described above, but this time use the following parameters:

    Manual preferred DNS Server: 209.244.0.3
    Auxiliary manual DNS server: 209.244.0.4

If you encounter the error, as before, we take our proverbial gloves off to try a more intensive troubleshooting.

What is happening, it is that your router allows your printer connection that to enable wireless, but not a secondary connection to Web services.  In order to get these devices to 'shake hands' a second time, you may need to enable DMZ mode on your network through the router's built-in Web server.  HP does usually not this configuration for its customers as errors can cause serious network problems, but I can certainly post the info you need on your router or the ISP of the staff support company so that they could help you directly.

Here is the information that you need for your provider service to open ports on your router/modem...

    -Multicast must be enabled
-Hello enabled for AirPrint (relevant for iOS and Mac OS users)
    -Mac filtering should be disabled
-Also, make sure that your router's firmware to date if
    necessary
    - The dmz on the router mode and turn it on to the printers IP address: _

Ports to open are: Eprint and Apps

    Incoming Ports.

    UDP
    80
    443
    ------------------
    Outbound ports

    TCP
    5222
    5223
    -------------------
Once they are open, you should have no problems connecting to services web eprint on your device.

I would like to know how it works for you.

    Kind regards

  • B210A Photosmart - server connection error and does not connect to the wireless router

I have problems setting up and to connect my router to my new printer b210A. Everything goes well with the initial configuration, and when asked to connect to the network at the start, it works. Then he said that the printer requires updates, downloads of updates, reboots, asks me if I want to activate eprint and as soon as I said 'Ok', I get a "the server connection error" and it is then no longer connected to the network. When I get out of the "server connection error" screen and attempt to reconnect to the network, he says 'Success', prints a Test report wireless, but never connects.

It's the 2nd printer that I have had in a week, given that the person of HP online chatting told me my first printer had problems of "hardware", after experiencing the same problems and I'll be recommended. So - I did, and now I'm running into the same issues. The number of 800 was NO HELP - after recommended I have unplug and reconnect, then telling me there were server errors (when the printer was not connected to the network).

We will set an IP address of the printer with a special focus on DNS domains:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). You can find the beach DHCP from the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the IP address of the router (ends para.1) in a browser.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway

-For the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the second use.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Difficulty 'Not connected' Error Messages When you try to access Web Services

If you are running on an error message on your printer stating that it is "not connected" when you try to access ePrint or your applications, but you know that it is connected to the internet, it probably just means that the printer does not connect to the server properly.

Here's the first set of markets, I will try, as they seem to solve this problem deliver half the time.

    • The first thing I'd like to try in this situation is a reboot of the system.
    • First, unplug the power cord at the back of your router.
    • Then unplug the power either to the back of the printer or the wall without it first turn.
    • Wait about 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to your router.
    • Wait about another 30 seconds and reconnect the printer. It should start back up automatically, but if it is not moving forward and press the power button.
    • Once everything is back running, try to access ePrint or your applications.

If these steps do not work for you, the next thing would be to establish a static IP & DNS for the printer. Before doing this, you want to print a Network Setup page. It varies from a model, but usually found under settings wireless or in reports in the Setup menu. After that you have this page, follow these steps.

Before we begin, we need a network with your current connection settings configuration page. To do this, press the button on the front of your printer wireless and press 'Print Info' or 'print the State. " This example displays on a page of configuration of the network, which provides information on what we have to finish the next few steps.

    • After that you have, we will need to access the built-in Web server (EWS) printers. You can do this by entering the IP address of printers (from the Network Setup page) browser press and the address bar type.
    • Once there, press the 'Network' tab at the top of the page. From there, you'll want to click on the button "IPv4", on the f-side of the page. It will be there for wireless and wired, so make sure you click the one for you, but you are connected. If you do not see "IPv4", you should see 'Networking', press and press "Network Address (IP).
    • Then, you click the small round button next to "Manual"IP address", and then fill in the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway using the information available on the network configuration page.
    • For the primary or the preferred DNS server, you will want to enter 8.8.8.8.
    • For secondary school or another DNS server, you will want to write 8.8.4.4.
    • Click on apply and when the message appears saying that the changes have been applied, press 'OK '.
    • Press the power button on your printer, wait that it completely power off and press it again to power it on.
    • After doing this, go ahead and try to activate ePrint again.

These measures should fix this for you. If they don't, then something else can cause this problem for you. Reply in this thread if these steps do not work, and I'll see if I can help figure you out what might be causing the problem.
