Example of Developer Lab works do not (connect to a network)

Hello

I built the Developer lab titled network (URL) and noticed a problem.

When I got MDS running, I could easily use the sample to access a Web site as "cnn.com". But when I pointed to a web page on my pc (http://localhost/MyWeb/Sample.aspx) she said there was no authorization to do so.

Is it a setting in the MDS? Or is it something else?

Hello!

Just an idea - instead of using 'localhost', use the IP address of the machine instead. So instead of

http://localhost/myweb/sample.aspx

You should try:

http://a.b.c.d/myWeb/sample.aspx

'a.b.c.d' where is the IP address of the machine.

'localhost' cannot be resolved properly - my guess is that if you use this application on a real device of BlackBerry, "localhost" would be done to the gear (because it does mean 'localhost' when I type in a browser on my PC).

See you soon,.

    Good day to all,

We have a BDS server work with IBM Traveler.

We have 1 user who, since this morning, cannot receive email.

After looking around on the traveler and the BDS, servers, we found no manifest error.

On the phone, we can see that the Internet/personal workspace work perfectly.

But the BES 'Account' is in the status "not connected" and when you walk inside to examine the configs, we get the red message "your device is not connected to a network. To connect to a network and try again.

That is, of course, completely false as works of personal data and its other, personal accounts work correctly as well.

We triied what follows (no license):

-> Stop / start the data on the device.

-> Stop the data + mobile network > both start

    ->, Restart the phone

-> Go into airplane mode > back to normal.

We triied to reproduce the issue with the other 2 phones: both work well. If only 1 phone has the question.

The BES server shows that, since the beginning of the question, we get this:

    Help!

    and thank you!

    Hey @seankernan,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I understand that you have some problems with your Mac OSX 10.11 machine printing on your Laserjet P1606dn printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet , not a surge protector. Once this is done, we will have to determine if the printer is in an error state. Make this document explains associated material of the printer errors, what they mean and how to solve them.

If the document does not help you solve the question and the only light is a steady green light then the next step is to make sure that the printer can print a self-test page. To hold both down the button with the sheet of paper on the printer for about five seconds and the printer prints a page. If it is Yes, then the issue is related to the network. If it's not then the issue is still material related. I'll send you some guidance on how to perform a factory reset the printer bit time, however these directions should be carried out only if everything at this point. Do this reset restores all default settings of network on the printer. If you had anything on the printer, then you will need to set up the printer again.

If after following the above, you are still not able to print a self-test page then the printer must be replaced. You can contact HP support by clicking here and filling out the form below.

If after following the above, you are able to print a self-test page, then the next step would be to troubleshoot your network. To do:

    Turn the printer off.

Disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.

Once all the lights are back we will re - turn on the printer.

    Print the self-test again page.

At this point, we will need determine what the printer think happens on the network. On the last self-test page, there will be a line indicating the IP address, IPv4 address or something similar. We will have to decide the issue based on the IP address.

    • If the IP address is 0.0.0.0 then the printer is having a problem with the connection to your network at all. Take a look at the network cable to the back of the printer. If you have a light in the back then the printer is having a problem with the network. Contact your internet provider or one that is provided with the router to determine why your printer will not connect to the network. If you have no light or the cable in the back is loose, then you have a hardware problem and the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP support by clicking here and filling out the form below.
    • If the IP address starts with 169.254, then the printer does not receive a valid IP address. Wait a few minutes and print the self-test again page. If you still receive an address 169.254, then you have a problem with the network. Contact your internet provider or one that is provided with the router to determine why your printer will not connect to the network.
    • If the IP address starts with 172 the printer connects to a network of comments. If you contact your internet provider or the one that you supplied with the router then they can help you with deactivation of the feedback network.
    • If the IP address begins with 192.168 or 10 the printer is properly connected to your network. The problem is at this point related to your Mac.
    • If the IP address begins with any other number then the printer connects to a network, but someone changed some network settings. At this point, you will need to contact one that keeps your network to determine why your printer cannot connect to your network.

At this point if you are unable to print from your Mac, but are able to print the self-test page then please let me know and I'll be able to provide more guidance. Also let me know if this allows you to print.

If this solves your problem then please help others to find this post by clicking on accept as Solution on my post.

If you appreciate my help so please let others know by clicking on the icon below my post thumbs up.

  • Widows XP does not connect to my network.

Widows XP does not connect to my network. (wired or wireless) The network is functional and all I can understand is ipsec driver service could not start because the specified file is not found. I tried to reinstall the drivers for my wireless card, an external wireless adapter and plug it directly into the router. It detects the network but will not connect to it.

This could be caused by a virus.  What application antivirus do you use, and is up to date?

    In particular, see tcpip.sys.

There are probably several copies of this file on a typical system of Windows XP.  The copy of 'work' found in C:\Windows\system32\drivers with a backup copy in C:\Windows\system32\dllcache.

You can have additional copies in C:\Windows\$hf_mig$\KB951748\SP3QFE and C:\Windows\$hf_mig$\KB2509553\SP3QFE

Assuming that your system is up-to-date, the tcpip.sys version should be 5.1.2600.5625.  It should be 353 KB (361 600 bytes).

You might consider doing a virus scan online with, for example, http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ or download and analysis with the multi-AV tool of David Lipman, which you can find here http://www.multi-av.thespykiller.co.uk/

I also suggest to download, install, update and equipped with a system full scan with two of these free tools:
    Malwarebytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

I called HP support, and they offer a fix for a price.  Is this the only option I have?

    Help!

PS My laptop is connected to the same network and works fine

Thank you for the additional information.

I am not sure, but I don't think that there is a wireless switch on the keyboard there is on most laptops.  This is considered as a desktop computer.

Have you updated the driver wireless?  This may solve your problem.

As a last resort, you may need to perform a system recovery.  This will take the computer to its original configuration.  You should back up your personal data if you decide to go this route.  I do this at least once a year.  He always makes the computer run better.

Hi, my Dell laptop (Inspiron 1420) work properly after that only after a certain time he reported that the wireless card will not work correctly. Now, the laptop does not connect to my network more, even with cable LAN, I checked the Device Manager and I found a yellow exclamation on the Microsoft ISATAP #2 map then I double clicked it only to discover in its properties of this statement, "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. Well, I try all I can, but the problem is still there, and the laptop won't always connect to my network, please anyone has an idea as to what I could do please answer as soon as possible. tThank you.

    Try without commitment TCP/IPv6:

If you still have internet connection probs, one thing to try is the separation of the TCP/IPv6 (which is done by going to network connection > right click > properties > it uncheck > OK.)

  • HP Pavilion will not connect to the network

Recently bought a HP Pavilion laptop and have tried to connect to my wifi at home. He returns constantly with incorrect network security key even though I'm 100% sure that it is correct, because I use the same password for other devices. I had to change my password for my wifi hub and enter this new password as the network security key which fortunately worked however, this means that every device in my house had to be resumed contact with the new password. Not only was it a lot of your time, but as soon as I turned off my laptop and turn it back on again a few hours later, it would not connect to the network again and continued to say the incorrect network security key (and this time changing my password for my wifi does not work). I was unable to use my laptop now because she's not not able to connect to my network and internet and it drives me crazy so help would be very appreciated to help me solve the problem

    Hey Amylou2603,

Thank you! Exactly what I needed.

Can you tell me if you have tried the steps that I posted in my previous answer and the results?

You will also want to try to update the drivers for the card wireless on the laptop. You can find the drivers here: 15-n267sa HP Pavilion PC drivers. You will find them listed under network after you choose your operating system and click Next.

There are a number of drivers here. Make sure you only download the drivers that match your exact wireless adapter. To see which card you have:

    1. Press the Windows Key + X.
    2. Select Device Manager.
    3. Expand network adapters.

Once you have checked the map, download the appropriate drivers and run the installer.

Let me know if these steps resolve the problem.

    Hi omsaini,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

Sorry to hear that you have to connect to a wireless network adapter trouble.

To help you further on this subject, it would have been really helpful for us if you had

mentioned a few details such as:

    (1) is there an error message you get when you try to connect to the internet?
    (2) is the persistent problem with all browsers installed on the machine?
    (3) what is the brand and the type of the network adapter (whether ADSL or an adapter included)?

However, there are a few steps that we can try first:

    a. the following link has a very good tutorial on how to install a network adapter on the computer:

  • Windows 8 "not connected to the network" but it is, shows computers and can connect to the internet. How can I fix it

I used the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on a Windoxs XP pro installation.  Everything works except that the network and sharing Center indicates that the computer is not connected to a network, but it is.  I can files in front on other computers on the network (at home) and I can access the internet.  The active profile is public, although it should be private. I created this to access the homegroup during installation.

I'm trying to get a first HD Homerun operation and if Media Center does not have any network, he sees no tuner either.

What can I do to get this working properly.

    a. no red X

    1. I tried to download a different driver, but it didn't work at all so cancelled.  To check if it was a pilot, I bought a usb wireless adapter.  I've disabled the ethernet connection and used the wireless connection.  The results are the same regardless of which connection I use.

    2. ran every convenience store without success

    3. services were what they were supposed to be

4 safe mode is worse.  No network connection (cannot see other computers in all), although internet is accessible

5 start gives the same results. "You are not connected to a network" yet the computers on the network are visible and accessible top records.  Internet is available.

I installed the software very little on this computer (just installed Win 8 last week.)

The only installed software is software HP Officejet L7680, Brother HL5250DN & first Silicon Dust HD Homerun software driver. I'm trying to set up basically as a DVR, so very little will be on it.

The only thing I can think is that I started with the installation of XP has been implemented using a VPN to connect to our network at work. This means that the computer should be part of the field it. Is it possible victory 8 retrieves these settings and now here's what's causing my problems? (I think that very few came from an installation of XP, but I noticed that some parameters met).

I plan to start again and re-installed Win 8 a last ditch effort... If you can offer any suggestions on repairing this conditioin, please provide me with the best way to re - install Win 8 as a clean install (without the things I installed). I'll then make sure that the network is working correctly before installing anything.

    *************************************************************************************************************

A follow-up for this reading. My problem was apparently caused by the upgrade of XP and usinging Dungeon files and SETTINGS. Although there are very limited items brought back an installation of XP, something is buried somewhere off network connections.

To solve this problem, Windows 8 has a new feature called reset. This essentially Setup all over again if you choose the option to delete files. You must enter the product key again when you do this. This is a clean install.  I had to update the graphics card drivers, add Media Center back, install HD Homerun Prime, run the Advisor of cable, making the TV configuration and finally got it works as I had expected.
