F12 wireless light stays orange

I have a 1 weeks Pavilion dv6-6c14nr, A6Y00UA product number. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64-bit.

I can connect to the Internet with a wired connection, but not wireless. When I press F12, nothing happens - the rest orange light. When I run the connection manager, I get the following message:

Could not load the Assembly:

System.data.SQLite, version = 1.0.61.0, culture = neutral,

PublicKeyToken = db937bc2d44ff139

The application will now exit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

After having in vain tried a number of things suggested on the HP support site I finally uninstalled the HP connection manager. That solved the problem.

    Hi, Max:

According to the device details ID you have validated, your laptop is the Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

This should be the driver that you need.

Hello Masa.  I understand that you encounter some difficulties to turn on your wireless network.

The wireless button works slightly differently in Windows 8 in previous versions of Windows.  It activates the 'airplane Mode' instead of turn turn off/on the wi - fi radio only.  Try the following to make it work as you would expect.

    1. Since the display type of Metro 'wireless '.
    2. You should see 'settings' on the right.  Select this option and it will fill several elements associated with wireless on the left side of the screen.
    3. Select "wireless" in this section.
    4. You should see a few options.  One being "Airplane Mode" and the other two being a power switch for bluetooth or wireless.
    5. Ensure that these two are turned on when airplane mode is turned off.
    6. Save the changes and reboot.

    Hello

Calibrate you the battery in the past?
Do this! It would improve the performance of the battery and battery working time.

You will need to you completely discharge the battery until it is completely empty.
Then charge the battery again. Repeat several times.
I think that 3 to 4 times would be enough.

After that check if the battery is expected to reach 100% and if the led would turn to green.

Try disabling the startup of Windows 10 hybrid - you can do the following.

Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close windows open and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon in Start Menu, select (Admin) command prompt and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

  • S5-1224 blue power light stays on after stopping; What happened to the orange light "sleep"?

I have a Slimline Paviliion S5 - 1224.  No changes or additions were made to the material.  When I stop the machine, it is used to change the orange or the wide power led.  Now, the blue power light stays on and blinks after power off the power.  The light on the adapter bluetooth in the front USB port stays on, too.  After removing the USB BT adapter, the light on the adapter goes off, indicating that the power is off to this USB port.  But PC power light blue is not far away, even when it is disconnected from the wall outlet.  It's as if the machine is haunted.  I unplugged the decision-making and the left that it disconnected for more than a week, but the blue light on the front of the machine never went out and is still on, even if she wavers and seems to fade a little.  When I turned on the rear, the light back to him is normal on State 'blue '.  Power off, blue light stays on.  Disconnected from the plug, light blue stays on.  I'm afraid to leave this thing in the House and will probably trash if someone does not have a solution.  Anyone who has ever seen anything like that?  All my friends of teckie IT are puzzled and suggested I post here to see if anyone else had the same problem.  Don't bother taking repair.

UPDATE: I removed all devices and low and behold, when I unplugged my BluRay USB drive, the lights are all on the CPU.  I restarted, close, tried to sleep and Hibernate and everything works fine now.  I guess that the BluRay player was watching somehow the CPU to turn it off.  It is a unit that is known for needing a huge amount of energy to function properly.  Naturally, the Blu - Ray player is not get reconnected to this HP PC.   Now I use with my Mac.

  • Pavillion dv9000 wireless is no longer and the light remains orange

A few days ago I was on the internet when the internet on my laptop suddenly began to spoil, so I restarted my laptop and now the wireless in no longer works. When I turn the switch on and outside, the light remains orange and don't return to the blue. He connects well with, I use an Ethernet cable, but I need a portable MOBILE! I can't be tied down!

I bought my laptop used a few months ago because it was cheap and I needed a college, and when I got it, it had Windows 7 above. I think I might be able to try to reinstall the wireless driver, however, I can't find one that fits my BONES. In addition, I don't even know if that would help. I am so lost on this and I really need help!

My laptop has a bad battery and my brother also has a Pavilion dv9000 and his video card was released a few weeks ago... At this rate, if no one can help me for free (since I am a broke student, I can't afford to pay for this problem and because I have nothing to break this.) ( hp should extend his warranty since it is their defective product), I will never buy hp again, and I'll start to know how many of these products are a pit of money and how little HP seems to care about their customers!

For me, it is a hardware failure. I tried your solution, but it did not work.

I don't remember if I mentioned earlier in this thread, but I had a family member (who knows a lot about computer) look at my laptop. He traded my module wireless for the other wireless modules he knew worked, but none of them worked. My wireless module worked in his laptop computer, but not in mine. So, even if I had bought a new wireless module, it would not have helped. The guy who looked at my laptop even done a factory reset, but it still did not help.

In the end, we learned that my motherboard does not accept more wireless modules. And this laptop is known for having so many hardware failures, it's not worth buying a new motherboard. For now, I'm stuck with a wireless adapter until this laptop terrible finally stops right turn.

    EDIT:
This isn't really a solution; It is not really a big part of the solution in my case because my wallet isn't bottomless (even if that were the case, I doubt that I had still shell out money to buy a new motherboard - I would just buy a new laptop). But it is a conclusion and what I discovered.
Pavilion dv9000 is that a waste of money and time, and HP is no longer offer a useful support to the Pavilion dv9000 users.

  • Wireless light is always BLUE, even if wireless is disabled - HPG62

    HP G62-340us

    Windows 7 64 bit

Atheros AR9285 version 9.1.0.323 (should be the latest driver)

The wireless light is still blue. When the computer first starts, it is orange, then it turns blue on the windows loading screen and stays like that, even if I turn off wirelss. I can use the F12 key to turn on and off, but does not turn the light orange to indicate active wireless. When I turn wireless off, he can always see other wireless networks, but not mine.

I do not have my computer all the time or even when I'm not there with her, I want to connect manually. Also, I have my connection to connect manually, which works, but I want to have a set manual wireless also. At the present time it lights up when I start the computer. I had set it up for not being able to turn around until I use the wireless F12 button but now I can't understand what changed so it turns on automatically. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

    Thank you

    Hello

You are right that wireless indicator should change from Amber (Off) to blue (on).

Download the driver from the link below and save it to your desktop.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp50001-50500/sp50498.exe

Once the download is complete, right-click the installer n select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When you are done, reboot the laptop.

  • Satellite 2805-S201: AC power light flashes orange 8 times

    Hello

I worked on a Satellite 2805-S201 and everything was fine until I put a PCMCIA wireless with 3, 3V power.
After that, the AC power light flashes orange 8 times and recycle.

It comes with power supply, battery, AC and no battery installed, etc. If I pull out the power plug and the battery and then put both when AC is green and the battery may charge. As soon as I push the power button, I hear a light click on the right side of the device and then it goes into the amber cycling power.

Bulletins of support mentioned that the card could get damaged, but did not mention the unit itself.
No, the PCMCIA card is not always connected

    Any thoughts?

    CA

    Hello

The flashing provides a micro code which refers to the hardware failure.
But please don't ask me what might mean this code because in my opinion, only an authorized service provider can be read and can check in his manuals and documentations.
But it is of course, in most cases, it s a hardware problem of motherboard! ;(

Perhaps the external PCMCIA card was not totally compatible and damages of something on the map but it's only my personal suggestion to ensure what s bad hardware fault diagnosis would be necessary.

  • My 'light' stays off even if it is properly connected. Finished my time machine?

My 'light' stays off even if it is properly connected. How can I solve this problem?

Unfortunately, Apple does not provide repairs or even for the time Capsule repair parts.  If the Capsule is still under warranty, Apple will replace the device for you. Or, if you have AppleCare implemented one of your Mac and the Capsule is less than 3 years, Apple will also replace the device for you.

There are 5 different versions of the time Capsule, so if your device is not covered by warranty or the AppleCare, whether or not repairs might be possible will depend on what model you have and how old the device that can be.

You have the "tower" version of time Capsule-shaped, or the old version 'flat' or 'square '?

If you have the old version of flat, square, look on the bottom of the unit for the model number. It starts with an "A" followed four digits.
