Factory recovery Dell Media Backup & Recovery

Hi, I just upgraded to windows 10, I'm on a dell inspiron 3000 series, I accidentally deleted the partition as dell backup and restore made when I started the software. now when I try to create a new recovery media, I get the message saying that this device is already linked to this recovery factory media?... but there is no new disk partition?... and the recovery of media factory is not checked green?... can someone help me please?, thank you.

8.1 Windows must be installed to clean:

http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-Microsoft-Windows-and-Office/Download-Microsoft-Windows/download-Windows-8-1-retail-and-OEM-ISO/

Then, the system upgraded to Windows 10:

Recovery media can be done natively in Windows 10:

As I said I don't know if there is a compatible version of Dell Backup and Recovery for Windows 10.

  • X100e factory recovery from USB

I have just had a X100e and tried to create a factory recovery disks. He gave me the choice to use a USB key that I had plugged. I chose who, and it is passed through stages that said he was reformatting the drive, write the startup commands and write the other stuff. In the end, I have a stick with more than 5G of things on it, very much resembling a full backup of the collection material. However, it does not start. Try to boot from this stick says he has no operating system installed.

  • Pavilion G7-1368dx: the factory recovery failed

A few weeks ago, Windows Update downloaded 10 Windows on my laptop. I tried a few days and decided I didn't like it so I uninstalled and reinstalled Windows 7 on my laptop. I lost the hp Recovery Manager, and by some people on this forum, I ordered the hp dvd recovery. I received the DVD and saved all my personal information. Then following the hp instructions that I started on the DVD and the recovery driver and application of discs. Records downloaded and after installation it says "failed to retrieve from the factory. So I retried 3 times with the same results. I searched the site of hp and found my problem and he said that you must have the wireless switch, but I tried and there is now nothing when I hit the button wireless. I am in desperate need. How can I fix it?

In fact, I realized that I was wrong to installation with the hp factory recovery disks. If your laptop has wifi the you must have the WiFi button before using the HP factory recovery disks, otherwise it will fail by the Service the customer of HP. Thanks for your help.

  • Backup Dell or backup Windows 7

Just got my new Studio 15. Looks like two backup systems included: Dell local backup and Windows 7 backup and restore.  It looks like both will create images for backup and recovery of data files.  Which should I use? And why are there at - it a Dell program to do this if Windows already has the capability?

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

You need both. The local backup of Dell to create recovery discs. Then use Windows backup to back up your files on EXTERNAL media. Do not use the D partition on the boot drive. You need a USB key or external hard drive for backups. Windows you will use the recovery partition D but don't use it for anything. Windows is not that the D drive is not a player at all. Read the instructions to create discs here.

  • How to create a recovery media factory with Dell backup and restore on Windows 10 1.6.2.4 v?

I got today a Dell inspiron 3521 a customer, without warranty, after some checking, I discovered that the hard disk has errors and needs to be replaced

No problem, the only problem is... I have no installation of Dell Windows 8 media. The laptop is updated to Windows 10 last year. In programs and features, I see that Dell backup and restore 1.6.2.4 v is installed. When I search the Dell backup or watch all the apps installed I can't find the program. So I can't run the program to create installation floppies

    When I go to:

program/PC (x 86) / Dell backup and recovery, I see a lot of files and 4 records, but no configuration file.

So my question is, how do you create a Dell Windows 8 installation media? Can I use after installing the new hard drive, reinstall Windows?

For good order, I can't, until now still approach the hard drive.

Who knows the solution to install the software dell of origin on the new drive?

The application must be updated for Windows 10 - you can get it as a download from Dell.

However, if 10 is already installed and enabled, you can also manually install WIndows 10 without the need of a product key - that way, however, do retain none of the applications Dell preinstalled on the system (which is not very important, as some of them such as PowerDVD would require a paid upgrade to work with Windows 10 in any case).

    DBaR 1.9 is here:

Whenever I try to reinstall Dell Data safe local backup or backup and recovery Application, I get this message, according to the attached picture.

Yet, I don't see this program Dell programs, according to the attached picture.

    Any help?

    Thank you.

  • Re: Satellite A300 cannot start, cannot use the factory recovery

Hi all, I have a Satellite A300, which gave me problems in the past few weeks...

    I use Windows Vista

There are about 2 months in the beginning of the laptop problem, it restarts itself automatically before enter in windows (while in the windows loading screen, no blue screen, screen just suddenly darkens and restarts itself), but it will get finally in windows successfully after a few loops

but about 3 weeks ago, it just keeps looping and never get into windows, good news, it is that it can capture mode safe without problem

I've done everything I can to try and save, as play with msconfig, drivers, removing the Rams etc, but not luck

so, I save everything in safe mode and decided to restore the machine factory, but the problem is that when I boot up the computer by pressing 0 and enters the recovery screen, reboot loop will happen!

any idea? or y at - it another way to restore to factory without touching the windows installed in my laptop? is it a hardware problem or software?

I thought about the creation of recovery disks but my cd drive is not working properly, and I don't want to take the risk of buying an external cd drive not knowing not if the problem can be solved...

    Thank you very much!

    >.. .i don't want to take the risk of buying an external cd drive not knowing not if the problem can be solved...
That of right, but you must understand that it is not easy on this virtual path to offer an accurate explanation and diagnosis for your problem.

It is not easy to tell whether it is hardware or software related issue. best way to test is installation of recovery image. Recovery image is tested and if there are no some portable hardware problem should work fine. How to install the recovery image, which you can read on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R02.htm

    >.. .or is there another way to restore to factory without touching the windows installed in my laptop?
Something like this is not possible. Windows that you use now needs to be reinstalled. I don't know why you the laptop restarts, but it's also the risk of recovery image installation. In case this recovery image installation will be interrupted, you will have two problems:
-image of original recovery saved on your HARD drive will be unusable
-you will not be able to start t

In your situation the best is to minimize this risk and have original recovery DVD that can be used if something goes wrong.
    > but the problem is that when I boot up the computer by pressing 0 and enters the recovery screen, reboot loop will happen!
Can you please explain what is exactly happening? Is - this laptop is simply cut off / go to the coast and then reboot again or what?

  • Factory recovery Toshiba does not lack of partition

    Hello

Notebook PC no longer starts. When you insert a dvd - w8 to a fabrieksherstel (ex-factory) I get this message.

+ Fabrieksherstel kan niet worden uitgevoerd. Een vereiste stationspartitie Land. +

+ Resumption of the factory does not work. A required partition of a station is missing. +

Can someone help me what to do please?

You said that you have inserted Win 8 DVD to do a cover of the plant.

You use the Microsoft Windows 8 DVD or do you use the Toshiba Recovery DVD 8?

I put t know which model of laptop you have, but on newer models preinstalled with Win 8 some configuration changes are needed in order to boot from the disc.

In the BIOS, you must disable secure boot and have switch to MSC mode

    Your comments would be appreciated

  • Factory recovery finished, now several devices in system without driver

Hello! I have a desktop HP Pavilion p7 - 1236 s with Windows 7 Home Premium x 64. I got the factory settings last night using recovery discs HP bought for my specific model. I have not installed/uninstalled all programs, drivers, etc., and now, Device Manager lists several devices of system without a driver.  The list includes: 2nd generation Intel Core processor to DRAM Controller-0100; direct memory access controller; high precision event timer. Intel 6 series/C200 Series Chipset Family SMBus Controller - 1 22; 5 instances of resources of the mother; digital data processor; programmable interrupt controller; 2 instances of card system; and the system clock. Before you recover my system last night, I had uninstalled the Intel RST 11.0.0.1032 program version. I have a single 1 terabyte hard drive (no RAID) and use the computer for my home-based business, and I had read elsewhere that it is not necessary for such a situation. Following this recovery, I see that the pilot in the path: C:\SWSETUP\DRV\Storage\Intel\RST\11.0.0.1032; However, the program is not in the programs of the devices & or Device Manager. -What is originally is current driver problems? I'd be VERY happy any idea that you could provide. Thank you!
