Windows Media Player encountered a problem while reading file he when Pinnacle Studio HD 14 is running

    Hello

I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed Pinnacle Studio 14 ultimate test. When the Pinnacle program works-

    a. when I run a WMV file there is no audio data.

    b. when I rang a MPEG 2 file (720 p, 25 frames per second) OR a file m2t, Windows Media Player is not able to read the file and gives the error: "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when reading what he gives.

    c. when I close the program Pinnacle all right and WMP reads all of the above files correctly.

I also recently installed and uninstalled Corel VideoStudio X 3 of the trial. First Adobe Elements 8 trial is also installed on the PC.

I would be grateful yuour help solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Paresh

    Hello Paresh,

The Pinnacle program is third party software that is causing the problem to occur. Pinnacle may be in conflict with your music files playing in Windows Media Player, that's why, I suggest you to contact pinnacle and check with them.

Windows Media Player 12 is probably to use the codecs used by pinnacle, which may be the culprit.

  • Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. Windows Media Player C00D11B1

I get this error when I try to play a file I've downloaded BBC iplayer. What is the solution?

My sound driver and the device is installed and running as I am able to listen to music on my laptop. He used to work until I upgraded to Windows 7. and since I have updated it did not work. Windows Media Player works on other video files

Please try the following steps: -.

    1. use Windows Update, or access the sound device manufacturer's Web site to see if an updated driver is available.

    2. use Device Manager to check the status of your audio device.

    a. click Start, right-click computerand then click Manage.

    (b) in the left pane, click Device Manager.

    c. in the pane, expand sound, video and game controllersand then look for the name of your audio device.

    d. do one of the following:

    3. If your audio device is listed, but the icon has a red 'X', the device has been disabled.          To activate the device, right-click the icon, and then click Activate.

    4. If your audio device is not listed in the right pane, expand other devices. If the Multimedia Audio Controller appears in the list, right-click on the icon and then click Update driver software. Follow the on-screen instructions to find and install the driver software.

    5. If you are not able to find and install the correct driver software, go to the Web site of your computer or the manufacturer of your sound device manufacturer for assistance.

    6. If you do not have a sound device installed on your computer, install an audio device and then try to play the file again. For more information, go to the Web site your manufacturer of the computer or the manufacturer of your audio device.

    7. If you try to play a file on the Internet, try again later. The server may be temporarily unavailable or there could be a network problem.

    8. If you try to play an MP3 file that contains compressed ID3 headers, make a copy of the file and then use an ID3 tag non - editing program Microsoft to remove or reset the file's ID3 headers.

The ID3 header is a part of the file that stores the album information of the song (for example, the song name, artist name, album name and kind). This information is sometimes called tag. After you remove the headers ID3, Windows Media Player should be able to play MP3 files.

  • Keyboard not working on Lenovo Windows laptop and stuck on the login screen

I have a Lenovo WIndows 8 20157 laptop, the keyboard no longer works someday so I restored it.  At that time, I could use an external keyboard.  When the system rebooted, it got to the login screen and will not work.  The screen keyboard and the external keyboard does not work.  The only thing that happens when I use a keyboard (external to the screen, laptop), is that if I hit the button S power options developed.  I can not connect and I can't run it in safe mode.  Already, I have removed the battery and held down the power button, which has not changed anything.

I took it for someone who told me to restore to factory settings and there are drop down menu in the corner of the login screen, but sometimes the mouse works and sometimes it isn't.  For example at the moment I can't open easy access menu to open the keyboard screen, but sometimes I can't.  Any ideas?

  • Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.

I've had this laptop for a decent amount of years, and for a while, the music player was working fine. Sometimes this message would jump to the top, and then others it would not. Until a few weeks ago, he never seemed to go away and work again. Now, I do everything I can to remedy this. But it doesn't seem to work. I need for this weekend, really bad. But the music player keeps popping up with the message displayed in the title.

Any suggestions on what I can do?

    Hi chasetheskyline,

    · What is the type of file that you try to play?

    · You receive an error with the error code?

Try the steps listed in the link below: Windows Media Player Error Message help:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/webhelp/default.aspx?&mpver=11.0.6001.7000&id=C00D11B1&contextid=87&originalid=8889000A

This may also be due because of codec installed on the computer. You can install the codecs on the system and check if the problem is resolved. To learn more about codecs, see the article mentioned below.

I have 1 UltraFit 64 GB, bought last month. It's work very well and smoothly until a few days ago.

Suddenly, the disc not recognized in my windows laptop 10. I see it in the Disk Manager, but I can't assign a letter, cannot format or do something else.

I tried 3 other laptops with Windows 10. just noluck

I tried 2 other laptops with windows7, it should work normally

I tried on my NAS MyCloud, there work.

I've created boot on my friend laptop (windows7) then try to start my computer laptop. it's working normally.

So I think that my USB flash only have problems with Windows 10

The Bank refused to help me, because they all use windows7 and have no problem with my usb drive.

You guys can suggest me how to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much.

ERROR: Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For any additional help, click Help on the Web.

I get the error Windows Media Player 11.0.6001.7007.  "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For any additional help, click Help on the Web frequently. "What happens on the music or video files even those I had on my PC for a long time.  They work some days and other days they don't.  I have to reboot to clear it and it's really annoying. I can read a file and then 10 minutes later the same file will not play.  Sometimes after the error message, if I don't click Close, the video is not yet but the audio will not.

I'm on a laptop HP DV5 with vista 32-bit and 4 GB memory such that shipped HP (Yes, 4 concerts and 32-bit).

I don't know if it was related, but IE7 would continually fail to open, click on through the windows and should be completely closed.  essentially the WMV and IE are fails miserably on this laptop, and it was only 6 months old.  Firefox fixes my problem of browser.

How can I fix this WMV as I can't UN/reinstall with Vista?

I ran sfc/scannow after completion of the analysis, the results were that "windows resource protection finds corrupted but files could not solve some of them" gives then refers to where the cbs.log file is located. I tried to open the cbs log, and he says that access is denied.

UPDATE: there seems to be a conflict between WMP and any other application that opens which can play the video with sound.  When I close firefox, and then the videos and sound can play (these same questions happened on IE7 and firefox was installed just yesterday).  I met the same problem with more than Pinnacle video editing software.  Is it possible to change a parameter with WMP as there is no sharing violation during a different application can play the video?

SO thanks a lot!    I had to use the following steps to get your simple solution:

    1. Select Options under the button 'SYNC '.

    2. choose 'other Options '.

    3. click on the tab 'network '.

    4. only check box RTSP/TCP and HTTP and Multicast Streams allow the player Pourrecevoirun multicast stream (which meant I had to uncheck "RSTP/UDP"

    5. click on apply and take advantage of my windows media player.
