Hard to Callander blackBerry Smartphones

I had used my 9630 phone to warn me when I had to take medication.  I need my medication 5 times a day.  For some reason, it no longer work.  I'm a bit of a Dinesour when it comes to this sort of thing so be gentle.

I tried everything you said.  I even took it to a dealer when I was in the city.  She said that I have to miss an update.  Told to hook it to a computer and down load it.  As I said I am not very computer compitent.  All I want is so that he could inform me every day at the same time for my medication.  It worked and now it isn't.  I am hoping for an easy solution that gives I'm technologically challenged.

My Blackberry Bold 9900 stopped sync with Gmail. I only synchronize e-mail, contacts, or calendar. I mainly use Gmail site on my PC to read and delete emails. I have more than 70 unread e-mails on my Blackberry that were already deleted from the Gmail Web site. The option 'balance' has no effect. I can receive new Gmail on Blackberry messages, but if I have to 'Mark as read' or 'Clear' an email actions does not sync with the Gmail Web site. The same is true if I 'Mark as read' or 'Delete' an email on Gmail Web site. The actions are not synchronized with the Blackberry. I have 2 Android devices and a Windows Phone that syncs with Gmail without a problem. I just have the problem on my Blackberry.

    My device information:

    BlackBerry Bold 9900

    7.1 bundle 2435 (v7.1.0.862, platform 5.1.0.662)

    Reconciliation of BlackBerry e-mail settings:

    Delete on: mailbox & Pocket

    Wireless reconcile: checked

    On conflicts: mailbox WINS

    Gmail settings:

Inbox, and garbage are included in IMAP feeds

Also, I tried to delete Gmail from Blackberry account. When I did he told me he would remove all Gmail messages from the phone but it moved all the Gmail unread messages in my main mailbox. (I keep Gmail and Exchange separate emails on my Blackberry). It is also impossible to select multiple messages at the same time to remove if they are not in a consecutive order.

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. All services of BIS, are sent to the device via data carrier network... contact them are therefore the right approach to discover why their network is no longer to deliver to you the services that you pay for.

    Hi all!

the e-mail on my 9320 function does not work correctly. I have correctly configured my gmail on mydevice account and I get emails and receive notifications when they arrive, HOWEVER...

When I opened the email all I see is heading for the topic and who it is from, there is no message body. Looking back through my old emails, the only ones I have read completely are those that I received BlackBerry when I first set up my email confirming the installation. If I select answer or forward, it opens the E-mail project but then the email app is closed completely and I'm suddenly brought to my home screen.

    What I've tried so far:

-Turning device and turn it on again

-removal and setting up my email account once again

-wear the device to where I bought it. they offered to download blackberrydesktop on my PC Manager and backup then restore my phone. I did it without a change in behavior from my blackberry

Do not let you fob before having 100% solved the situation. If they tell you to contact RIM, don't let them not on the hook, then either... insist that they tell you exactly how you should contact RIM. If they say anything OTHER that they will increase you rim (for example, if they tell you to independently seek the support of the RIM), and then accept it. Only through an escalation of your service provider can you receive all official support from RIM.

    Hello

    Thanks for the confirmation!

Regarding your question, there is already a Knowledge Base article that is associated with this error:

KB34245 : A checkbox, and then a red x appears when a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or BlackBerry 6 to 7 sends a message to a smartphone BlackBerry 10 via BlackBerry Messenger 7.0.1.23

In my opinion # Workaround seems to be a little hard.  So I prefer you should first try to reinstall the BlackBerry Messenger application and see if it helps with your current problem.

To make your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

KB10040 : How to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone

Deleted once perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a min. and then reinsert this return.

Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available. After installation, restart your device once more, connecting with your BlackBerry ID and check if you are able to send BBM to one of these devices.

Please try it and let us know of your progress.

  • Screen problem touchscreen blackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Storm2 9550

    Hello!

I am a Sri Lanakan. Last week, I bought a Blackberry Storm2 9550 used, eBay (from a seller of e. u.). All the functions work fine except the touch screen. Can press on the touchscreen. (edges and around the screen) But he get caught suddenly, and also when am pressing an icon, phone highlights another icon. (as axample, when am pressing contacts in the home screen, phone highlights two contacts and sms). As I suppose, at this time there the phone detects it as multi touch and so I can't support what either. When am reset (battery pull) the phone, it solves the issue for a few minutes or hours, subsequently faced the same question.

I tried to fix it by putting a piece of paper to the battery cavity, but nothing has changed.

My storm is an unlocked phone (Comes to Verizon, but later unblocked), which is running version 5 software. ...... . 713 fact in Mexico 5.

I want also to the last update available for my phone and how to update.

None of these remedies could work. Without practice, it is impossible for me to know anything 100%. The best advice I can give you is to upgrade your operating system to the latest version (. 1015). It could very well be that, as a device, it was damaged by the previous owner and it will never work for you. As I say, it is impossible to tell at this distance-internet.

Most of us who have dealt with this for awhile understand that power should be turned on when you pull the battery.

The other appears only if your carrier has eliminated an update wireless for you. You say that it is the "best way" for you... I would add that this is the MOST DANGEROUS way. You see, via this method update, on the device of data backup is taken, that is rendered after the update (the update effectively wipe everything). This backup is a file use 1... If something is wrong in the upgrade process, all your data is lost forever. The update method that I gave you is the best method that 1) it tells you first take a manual backup and 2) the process itself will also take another backup... and both of these backup files are stored on your PC and can later serve as a source of food since they are not 1-use files.

You have already the link... it's in the instructions I have given to perform the update... This is the portal of official download for all carriers. Simply, you browse to the carrier of your choice and download their bundle of BONES for your model number.

You can also benefit from this:

And also the public KB that I often mention... they are fully searchable by you... you don't need do me research for you:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones connected to internet but pages won't load! Help!

    Hey,.

First time using this forum so ill try my best to explain my situation.

I have a Blackbery curve 8520. Until recently he worked perfectly but it has since not load websites, even when connected to the internet. My BBM works perfectly however. I have saved, rebooted and ensured that data services are on. I contacted my network provider and they said it's a blackberry issue thean rathr a network one.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I really want to listen to these automated messages on the hotline more.

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you will need to contact your mobile service provider for formal support... for the last time, again they you brushed OFF... even if the problem is on the EDGE (btw... BB is a device, RIM is the company that manufactures the BBs), your support channel always starts with your carrier... they have the power to escalate your case in RIM free of charge for the user end... There is no other way by which you can receive free formal support from the RIM... actually, these forums are not similarly supported RIM , but rather to the users.

    Good luck!
