  Thanks for the reply.  A friend told me to stop the BB, remove the battery and then turn it back on.  The BB took a few mintues to come back but it worked and everything was restored.  He explained that the BB goes through a process of battery conservation and stop all programs in order to save energy.  He thinks that the current BB software is apparently not restored these programs stop you.  Maybe the upgrade of the software you suggested will do just that (?).  In any case, thanks for the effort.

  N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise.   in late July, I bought a BB Curve 9320. Until today, I wasn't able to create an e-mail account. A smartphone without access to e-mail. The problem is missing to create an internet e-mail account. I'm only able to set information for a business account, which I did not. In recent weeks I spent hours and hours reading manuals/blogs and watching youtube videos. I also asked my phone provider if they put in limits for internet e-mail accounts. Nothing of the sort.

  I guess that the problem may be caused by our bb playbook. It works well enough. The playbook is running to a live windows account for email, contacts, and dates. When I started the 9320, I first used the same bb id that we use on the playbook.

  Please help me, I'm totally frustrated. What can I do?

  My problem is with my Blackberry Torch 9810 e-mail accounts. I have two accounts and it doesn't seem to work. I tried to access my accounts but now get a login to the screen of Bberry with [Personal Information deleted] ID and ask for password. I never have that in place. When I use the 'forgotten password' button, I get a message that reset instructions were sent to [Personal Information deleted] I have no idea how to do to access this account. Can you help me?

  If BB ID is, as you say, new for you, then someone has configured this device with a BBID, and you can or don't want that. BBID is used to help to be sort of a "single sign on" to many things... BIS configuration, BBM, BB Protect email, etc. If you have not created this ID from BB, while you should really do is delete and create a new brand for yourself, that you store the credentials for, as you will need it from time to time (as you do now).

  To remove the unit BBID and then create one for you, you must WIPE totally clean unit... This will make the device as it was brand new, so all the data and the applications that you have installed will be gone.

  But, if there is a chance that this BB ID is indeed something you created, but simply forgot, then you can try to get back into it. To do this, start first with them please:

  2. But, if you do not have AppWorld documents that you need to keep, then you need human intervention.   You can get all your apps, same BBM, as long as follow you where you got the original as well as the necessary license keys. Given what you describe, I suggest a clean reload of your operating system, start from scratch. It's the best procedure I know:

  There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

  Method 1:

  • Open the Blackberry Desktop Software and connect your device to your PC with the USB OEM cable and without inserting the battery.
  • You will get three options: try again, update or cancel; Click Refresh.
  • Once, it is at the stage of initialization of 'pocket', insert the battery.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

  Second method:

  Sorry for the trouble, but I noticed this same problem with few other users, who could not send pings to any BlackBerry 10 there BlackBerry 7 devices.

  To solve your problem, I suggest to re-install BlackBerry Messenger!  To do this on your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device powered on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

  Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the latest available for your phone model. If device reboot prompt do then sign in with your ID BlackBerry even.

  If the old BB is really dead, then it is not available as a source for restoring your data to your new device. Instead, you must use another source, one that you created before the old BB died.

  If you made a backup of office, you can use the backup as a restore source file:

  If you were synchronizing with a Desktop Organizer (for example, Outlook), then you can use that as source for restore reconfiguring the RIM Desktop software now work with your new BB:

  kindda weird cuz, I use my Nokia E71, it works very well for most all functions such as mms, sms, GPS, web browser, send a mail with the service I'm having now. but BB bold is required the data plan just for e-mail at work
