HP 4050: Printer HP 4050 range

My HP 4050 worked fine until recently. Recently, it has begun to produce a sound grinding printing and a stop error light printing is turned on by requiring "attention". After opening and closing, it starts printing a few pages, then stops again, with the light of the error.  Anyone know what could be the problem?

Sounds to me like rolls of collection for the tray is worn because you do not get a jam, just a failure to move the paper.  There are 2 rolls, collection and separation, and both are the same.

    Dear friends... I have a problem sending prints to my printer. I can't even open the printer admin page. I have suscpect that the reason is due to the range of IP addresses. Grateful if you could help me.

    Here is the configuration.

    • My laptop connects to the internet via a Wireless Modem. My laptop computer IP is 192.168.50.3 I can see using the ipconfig command.
    • My IP of the printer which is shown to me by pressing the wireless button is 201.214.116.240... Is this ok?

    I'm capable of ping the IP of my laptop.

    I can't open the printer admin page by opening this IP address in the browser.

    Sent prints to the printer NOT to print.

    I tried to restart the printer and the router in New York but no luck.

    You are not connected to your router at all.  You printer need to have an IP address of 192.168.50.x to be on your network (if pas.3).    You mention no router and a modem.  Please give details of your network connection and all the equipment and how it is connected please.

  • The JavaScript Code to print multiple Page ranges in Acrobat

    Hi all

    I am very new to Javascript (used for the first time this morning) and was looking for help.

    I built a pdf file in Acrobat that I need to print on a very regular basis.

    However, when I print, there are only some of the pages I need to print as opposed to the entire document.

    I put in a print button that executes code when you press on below:

    This.Print (true, 1, 25);

    This.Print (true, 27, 28);

    This allows me to print two different page ranges, but it separates into two different print jobs.

    Y at - it a code that will allow me to put them in the same print job, so that it selects the pages 1-25, 27 and 28, rather than have them separately?

    I am currently using Adobe Acrobat X Standard.

    Any input would be much appreciated.

    My laptop does not connect to my HP envy printer. It keeps saying the driver is not available or is it ready, but does not connect. I know the printer is working because I can print from my phone. Anyone know the driver I need to download or what to do?

    Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

    I read your post about the problems with your Envy 7640 in Win10 printer and wanted to help.

    The problem is that by default HP print drivers installed by the upgrade of Win10 often do not work.  I have two HP printers and neither one worked after the Win10 upgrade.  We also receive a lot of messages of other people with the same problems.

    You must download and install the full feature software and drivers for the printer.

    Then unplug the printer and install the software.

    Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.

    Once the installation is complete, restart.

    You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

    I'm new to this printer.  I have a document with several pages I want pri nt in a format of two sided pages. I want to print the odd pages only, then reload these pages and print even pages only.

    I can't understand how to charge for print even pages.

    Based on the following specifications, your printer doesn't support duplex (auto or manual). You have to work it yourself. Word allows you to print the odd pages and then even. My suggestion: take a punch, to test with small (say 4-page document) and you can you train it how to activate and re - load documents on the set.

  • Printer HP C509a range: new/still a problem with the C309a with wireless printing

    Printer is now, do not print, then all the sudden days later, it will print what was in the reference. I checked everything I know how to check. I think to unstalling the software, but when you do that... There is ALWAYS something that lingers to create a problem during the installation again. Is there a good way to get rid of the computer of all the files that relate to the printer?

    OK, here's where I am. Computers 3 1 HP printer. I removed the HP software. Reinsall after I did the "usbready.exe" file in order to load the software.

    FYI

    1 computer is wired 150 ft. - works fine. The other 1 computer (wireless router) to the point of HP printer

    works very well. It is the 3rd computer wireless to the router but does not work. The software, see TI but not install and plug. In one of 3 different choices. Now, I got a little my limits. I'll try to go in the "devices and printers" see on adding a printer and see if that can cling to the top. He is a friend and 24 far mi but needs to be done. The choice of HP software is the USB connection, Ethernet connection and wireless connection. All 3 see the printer but do not begin upward.

  • Printer HP 932C range: Guard printing test pages

    2 days ago my printer had all the lights on and was blocked.  Suite of solutions HP, stop button / stop and button pressed to resume and released the button / stop. Printer worked fine. After an hour or two, test page about printed 4 times sporadically. The test page is the one with: HP Deskjet 930c Series (top), picture of a flower under it, «Everything is possible...» "underneath, then the HP logo on the bottom.   With my printer, it will display this page to test during the day or evening. Help, please.  Thank you.

    I'm still not sure if the test page comes from the printer or the computer. However, you can certainly try another uninstall, restart the PC and then install the printer using the windows built in the driver (as there is no full features drivers or software available for this printer under Windows 7).

    When you have finished reinstalling the printer, try printing from Notepad to see if it works. You can also try running the printing and scanning Dr. too if there is no problem.

    If there are persistent problems, I would recommend then contact HP directly to see about a replacement or upgrade of printer.

  • Printer HP 1120C range is listed as compatible with Windows 7, but impossible to install the driver

    I have an old HP1120C printer. HP lists as compatible, and refers to the Microsoft site. List of Microsoft confirms that the printer is compatible and no new drivers are needed. I try to load the driver and Windows 7 says that the driver is not compatible.
    What can I do?

    But y at - there no written document, which approves your statement "HP chose not to make the drivers supplied to Microsoft available for download on the HP site".

    Webpage of HP here indicates that there are drivers on Windows Update but it will not be available on HP.COM drivers.  If your printer is connected by USB then install it as shown here on the site of HP .  If you are sonnecting by the LPT port, and then follow these steps: go to the folder, devices and printers, add a local printer, use a Local Port, LPt1: (or whatever port is appropriate), then the update of Windows (from the selection in the lower right box), wait for the list to repopulate , and then select the manufacturer HP (Hewlett-Packard not) and select the printer Deskjet 1120c in the list.

    I have an I - Mac OS x 10.6.8 with Photoshop CS5 12.0 x 64 c v. My old version of Photoshop allowed me to make prints top of range. IE: I opened my image > print with preview, go to show more options > profile: SP Premium Glossy PK etc... where I could take paper sizes, type, dpi, speed, etc. I don't have this capability on CS5. Just let's me print. What should I do to have access to all of the above?

    I'm sorry.  It is not called Options.  He called 'Print Settings'.   Also you should post in the Photoshop forum, not on the Photoshop Elements forum.  Photoshop Elements is a different product.

    I'm often abroad and so my printer is turned off for extended periods. I continue to receive e-mail from hp saying that my printer is not connected (I'd be very worried if it was!) and I should connect my printer to the internet - that of course isn't possible.     I was browsing the documentation that I have on this printer and has been unable to find out exactly how much power these printers use. The printer HP Envy range are marked with the ENERGY STAR logo and qualified

    to ENERGY STAR specifications of the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States for imaging devices.

  • Z5200 PS: white vertical stripes appear of some graphs when printing posters - Z5200PS

    When you generate posters in MS Publisher or MS PowerPoint sometimes a graphic placed on the page will create a white band of non-printing the image width from the top to the bottom of the page.  The only printing in this range is the image.  Not all images have this problem.  The white band does not appear in the image or preview before printing in the program.  The white stripe appears only in the preview before printing HP and on the printed poster.

    This has happened with several posters, but not all.  The images associated with the banding have been removed and the white band is deleted.  The images will be edited, resized and otherwise modified but still liaising with the band.

    A poster done with MS Publisher that produces the white vertical stripes with a few images when printing to the HP Z5200 PS is saved in Adobe Acrobat.  The Acrobat screen image is OK.  In Acrobat print preview is fine.  But when generating the preview before HP Print or print, the white vertical stripes in the graphics display.

    I tried everything I can think of.  Posters of MS Publisher look OK on the screen.  The problem occurs only when printing or using the preview feature before printing HP for the HP5200.  The files printed without this problem on our old printer large format of 500 HP.

    Any suggestions on the cause or solution?

    The PDF file was the same problem that the Presenter MS leader had.  Due to the size of the MS Presenter file, error messages have been generated when trying to convert it to a JPG file.

    But, I went back to the PDF of the MS Presenter file and used Acrobat Professional to convert it to several image formats and attempted to print the PDF file of the file MS Presenter image format.  It worked.  It's a very winding road, but it has provided acceptable results.
