  Welcome to the Forums of HP, I would be happy to help you! I understand that you have the printer set up on your network, but the software says that the device is not accessible. Sometimes the IPv6 may interfere with the connection, and I suggest we disable that before anything else. On the fornt of the printer Panel, scroll down to and then select Wireless. In the wireless Menu, select Advanced settings, then IPv6 and.

  Now we are going to let the router and unplug the power cable (NOTE: do not reset the router), then do the same with the printer and shut down the computer. After a minute, plug in the router, wait to fully turn on, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light become solid. Once the router and the printer are on, go ahead and re - turn on the computer. This will refresh the network connection.

• 3 years old DELL P513w lost connection with the wired PC & wireless

  Back in Jan. 2010 I purchasea a Dell P513w printer. Since setting it up its been sitting in the other end of my PC room.
  

   It worked fine both wireless and whan the cable attached. It justsat there unused except for printing probably a couple dozen pictures since 2010.

   I would put it on line later. My Brother went kaput basically a couple of weeks ago so I dumped it and moved the DELL over near my pc. Re-installed the software because I had recovered the pc. I could not get it to work with wireless but it functioned ok with the USB connection. Suddenly it just quit. I have reinstalled the software on 2 pc's but it keeps telling me X no compatable printers are installed. I've tried 3 sets of cable and still nothing. Help I've hardly used this thing and havequite a bit of extra ink. It scans a d will print from flash disk or memory cards but not with anycommunication with the printer.

  You need the HTC Sync HTC phone Manager software.

  In-hubs properties > Device Manager USB root-> power management
  You will find the option called allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

  I would recommend the brand and disable this option.

  By the way; When do you update the operating system? I think that it s there long time, perhaps some system files or registry entries are corrupted or a 3rd party application affect the USB functionality?

However when I move 'install' on my computer my printer is not found. I went to Wal-Mart, thinking that if I bought a USB cable, it would solve my problem. I plugged in the computer and the printer with the USB and printer 'ENVY 4500 series' has been designated now connected via USB. Now, the next step was to configure the device. My printer is not set to join the wireless network. "The device is not accessible. My Hp product registration was a success, however, I forgot to add my HP printer connected account. I looked on other forums, and because I live in an apartment the IPS are slightly different because the wifi is used throughout the complex. When I manually setup wifi with the same ip addresses, connectivity still does not. I really need your help. I paid a lot of money for this printer wireless and school starts soon. I need this printer! I downloaded the latest driver. I have Mac OS X 10.8.5. Also is it possible to use my printer as a wired printer wireless with my USB cable?

  I haven't used a MAC in 10 years so I can't help you with MAC issues.  Your PC has a USB 2 port, so you should be able to connect the MAC to the printer using the USB 2 cable.  Follow these instructions.  There seems to be a lot of warnings I have gottcha.

  You can connect otherwise?  USB or FireWire or love at first sight?  You can connect both machines and start the one you want to transfer to target disk mode.  If your other machine is up and running with an account on it and you just want to move files, you can simply drag and drop the FRO the machine mounted TDM, or you can use the migration wizard.

  Or, if the other machine still starts and runs, you can start both computers and connect to the same wifi network and share the hard drive like machines on the network.  Access them in the finder on the new machine files and drag-and - drop, or use the wizard migration, on wifi.
