  I can't print wirelessly or via a USB cable to my printer HP 5530th, Envy of my application Roxio NXT.

  I understand the frustration that this must be the cause of you. I'm glad you're able to print from applications of MS Office and Corel Paint. This would indicate that Roxio NXT is part of the problem, not the printer.

  I have a laptop HP Envy 15 old two week running Windows 8.1. Today I plugged my mobile phone to the laptop to sync my music and the phone was NOT recognized as a device. Then my keyboard and mouse logitech immediately stopped working. They work via a mini usb bluetooth key. I tried to restart and it does not solve the problem. I checked Device Manager and some usb devices showed yellow. They have been

  -Intel 8 series / C220 Series USB EHCI #1 26 8
  -Intel 8 Series / series C220 EHCI USB 2 # 8C2D
  -USB Root Hub (xHCI)

  I rebooted in diagnosis and tested every USB port and it says that the USB ports were very good. Restarted again, and still nothing worked. I followed the steps to uninstall the devices, then restart, and nothing happened except that now the bad devices are listed as "Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller" and "unknown device". I tried to reinstall the driver, nothing helps. HP and Intel sites do not have a driver for Windows 8.1 package that works. HP Intel Chipset Installation utility installs properly - "an unknown error has occurred. The Setup will exit.
  
  I checked the event logs, and they had a few events on the device "pointer". 'A pointer device has reported a bad logical range angular', 'a pointer device has reported a bad physical angular range' and 'a pointer device did not report a valid unit of angular measure.
  
  At this point, ports allow to well, but still will not connect whatever it is connected to them. Is it just a simple failure or is there something I can do to get this working without having to send the laptop back?

  I have a new HP Pavilion laptop, running Windows 8.1.

  I'm connected wireless to the Envy 5530e-all-in-one.

  I printed a document using Microsoft Word 2013 successfully.

  Today, I put a page on the printer and asked a "copy."  When the page came off the printer, printing would have been on the top of page 1-inch of the original copy was missing.

  It's as if the printer is trying to give me a 1 inch "header" that you could get in a Word.

  Any suggestions on what to try?

  9 x 11 is a bit out of its supported formats. For this test, Please try an original with the A4 format. I don't have 9 x 11 sheet of paper so I can't test it on my printer, BUT I know for sure it works on A4 and smaller. If it works not for A4 or smaller, contact HP for a replacement.

• HP Envy m6-1205dx fails to start

  Hello

  I have a HP Envy m6-1205dx which I bought about 4 weeks ago and it worked perfectly. I used it yesterday and the laptop shut down suddenly. There are no fan noise, no message on the screen or without blue LEDs flashing on the front of the laptop. The only light I see is the light of the LED on the side to show that charge. The LED is white, so I assume that the battery is fully charged. I tried a hard reset by removing the battery and pressing the power button for at least 15 seconds and using the AC adapter without the battery and it still doesn't work. I think I was the only unlucky to get a faulty portable computer. I hope you can give me help.

  That sounds like a hardware failure, your best options are either to return the machine to the retailer you bought it and have replaced the laptop - if you can do this can depend on the time elapsed since the purchase and where you live in the world.

  Otherwise, you should contact HP and arrange for the laptop repaired under warranty.

  Please do a hard reset first. Then connect the battery and charger. Please make sure that the computer is always turned down. Remove the USB key. Press in and hold the Windows key and the letter "B" together with the power button for 5 seconds. He should start the bios to restore automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions. If this does not work, then we have a problem.

  My HP ENVY 14-1160SE fails every time that I try to reinstall the operating system using the recovery disks that have delivered to me since HP fail during the second stage (when its additional software installation). • HP Envy 5530 Install problems

  Hi all. I was banging my head against this for a while now and it has left speechless me. All below use the driver available from HP site, 2013-12-12 Version 32.1 full of features and the base driver. The machine itself is a HP G62 Notebook, current updates of windows and HP, running under Windows 7 64-bit. It is reproducible on a second, also HP laptop windows 7 64 bit, on the same network. Identical questions.

  The software is installed normally, and I don't see any problems anywhere until I go to connect to a printer. I can also connect the printer to web front end.

  HP Envy 5530th doesn't let me connect as a printer. I uninstalled the software, reinstalled, used HP doctor to diagnose, which simply downloaded the software again and impossible to install printers. When installing over the network, it gets to half way in the GUI and then abandons. The event viewer contains an MSIInstaller event 1015 | Error: 0x800401F0 when I try this method.

  If I try to connect by USB, the installation fails silently.

  If I try to connect to it as a network printer, such as the use of the connect to printer, windows sees the printer, allows me to choose a driver, I chose the one I grabbed temp Installer files and get this message:

  I've had problems with a few updates lately,

  they are:

  KB2423089
  KB2485376
  KB972270

  and

  KB974431

  When I try to download in Windows Update it says "download updates... "for a few seconds. Then he goes to "Installing uppdates...." ».
  It seems to install 3 updates, that they finish in 10 seconds approximately and then he says that all 5 have failed.

  I also tried to manually download standalone installer of each patch, but these facilities fail as well.
