When I print several pages or thick paper stock, printing fades as he goes. I have a Mac with OS X10.9 Mavericks.
I changed the print heads and use original ink. He is a recent problem.
Another annoing is the error that I get when I use the power switch to turn on or turn off the printer and the error says "do not unplug the printer from taking, damage may."

Try to go to the preferences system-> Trackpad-> point & click and disable the "Secondary click" item Or change one option other than water from the tap 2 fingers.

When you print a document that has an image in it, it prints the image - all programs such as Word, Publisher, PDF, etc. Printer works ok with another computer and another printer works well with the computer. I've updated the firmware in my work perfectly 8500 has and now the printer will not finish a print job after few minutes of no activity. The fax is the same thing. I installed an old set of "Genuine" HP cartrages that have been spent and the printer seems to work now. I stayed alive all night without the message "printing" terminal hidious. Very disappointed that the update didn't warn me on this subject and now I need to buy all the new ink cartrages.
New computer of windows 8 with Explorer 10. All other computers print fine with my 8500 Pro but it will not print anything except the headers and footers of web pages. I have chosen European Windows so this isn't the issue. Other programs work just fine, just not Explorer web pages, for example Google directions. It's a pain. I've had this problem for a while now but have never been able to find a solution. Basically if I use something within Premiere Pro that opens a Windows Explorer dialog box (for example, when you choose a custom LUT), the program sometimes goes a little crazy.
The dialog boxes is not pop up and the program becomes unclickable. And when you try to click on what, whether it gives it its particular of Windows. That occurs when you use a program and a dialog box has popped up and you try to click outside the dialog box.
In the past, if I tried to end task and then cancelled, the program will open. However, with the last update things became different. It unlock again, but the program does funny things as it won't save. It does not update the video window when you rub. Etc., basically it becomes unusable and you will need to complete the task without being able to save your work.

I bought an OfficeJet a year but, despite a search for 'on-line' manual, I can't find any information about loading and printing envelopes. If I just load the envelope in the tray (the size of the guides adjustment) the printer screen asks "have you you load paper regular A4 - if"NO"is pressed, it just says: 'document - type A4/paper - plain paper type." This printer is unable to print envelopes? If possible, someone would be nice enough to indicate where I can find "an Idiots Guide to...". "Envelope of loading and printing of"!

If you followed the instructions when setting up the printer and then installed the software on your computer, you should be fine.

You will need to select envelope as the paper type, once the envelopes are loaded. If you tap where it shows the type of paper, like 'Letter' for example, you will finally get a long list of types of paper. You can scroll the list by dragging vertically on the screen of the printer with the finger. The different types of envelope are a way just to the bottom of the list. When you see the type of envelope you want in the list, tap on it to select it.
Once you have the desired selected envelope, you should be able to print. Here is a support document which can serve as a reference if necessary - envelopes printing (Windows).

I recommend an oil change of the full power of the system:
Unplug the router when turned on
* Wait 30 seconds
* Connect Router and wait for it to reboot completely

* Wait 30 seconds
* Plug the printer back to

Just recentily my printer prints as if it was almost out of black ink (text has missing parts and streaks). If I have a third level cleaning I can finally return to normal black. After a few printed pages, it begins printing with portions of the rear lack again.
When I do the cleaning of the print head of all colors but black shows correct in the first and second level cleaning.
All the ink cartridges show good levels.

My question is my back ink cartridge would be haviing a power problem the ink in the print head? Is there something in the third level of cleaning that would make the flow of the ink properly for a short time? This problem appeared after I replaced the black ink, but not immediately. I have always used HP ink cartridges in the printer. I'm tempted just ro replace black with another cartridge to see which takes care of the problem but didn't do it if anyone else had the problem and found a solution.
Just tried to replace the cartridge with a new back and I'm having the same problem with it.

I notice that the black is better temporarily by the third cleaning, and also consider other colors, I have noticed them all degrading by the third cleaning. According to me, this looks like a problem with the two print heads, now I can visibly see Printing outs. The yolk is less apparent among peach and green and the cyan and magenta also show a lower quality tone.
Replace the print heads cannot guarantee a fix.
I always suggest calling HP to see what are your options for a trade.
