  Here's the follow up:

  -You cannot restore your files once the HARD drive goes 'bad '. You can try to start the computer by using a few Linux based Live rescue CD, but chances are very small

  I understand that you experience connectivity problems when you access Game Center accepting friend requests.  Here are some troubleshooting steps that I recommend to go through this problem.

  Get help

  If you are unable to connect to Game Center or stay connected, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.
  2. If you cannot create an account or sign in to Game Center of in a game, try to create an account or sign in with the Game Center app.
  3. Sign out of Game Center, then reconnect. If you can not you connect to Game Center with an Apple ID, reset your password, or use another email address. To manage your Apple ID, see my Apple ID.

  I tried to use my smart touch months ago and it did not work properly so I did system restore, but during the restoration, the power went out. Now when I restart the smart touch, it loads windows and then goes straight to a blue screen. There is only a cursor in the middle. I ran some diagnostic tests and everything has extracted o.k. tried to start in safe mode and it says: in each corner of the screen, but no safe mode toolbar or Windows is available. Just a black screen blank with the mode without failure of words. I tried to restart the computer for the last known successful startup and it's the same as before, the charges with a blue screen.   Thank you for the updated information. I'm you provide a document from HP support: get a USB HP recovery disc or HP recovery disks, allowing you to get your recovery media if you do not have everything as I doubt F11 will work for you at this stage. If this does not work all the better, but if follows does not only document and it will guide you on how to get your recovery disc.
