HP Solution Center work - think Officejet 6410 is not installed

My Officejet J6410 don't scan, a new problem. It gives the error message "no scan option available.  I've followed all the advice line:

-Reinstall the printer using the HP installation wizard

-Download the latest drivers

-Download and install the printer and scan doctor

-Download and install the HP Solution Center

Everything is not the last step. Despite several attempts, all very slow process, Solution Center tells me that the printer is not correctly installed.

Anyone got any advice please?

I want to give a document about your error message 'No Scan Options'.

If this does not have any questions, I have two questions for you:

1. What is the operating system of the computer you encounter this problem with?

2. How is the printer connected (USB, Ethernet or wireless)?

3 can you scan by using a program like Paint?

Answer these questions for me please if the above document helps you to solve this problem for you.  You will be more specific when you answer these questions, the better chance I have giving you the best advice.

    -HP diagnostic Scanner (HPSDU) indicates network problem
    -HP Printer software Diasgnostic does not show the printer on the network, but it is
    clearly there that the printer does not work
    -A USB installation HANGS and eventually times out in peripheral step 'configuting '.  No other reason
    that shows timeout.  Manager tasks indicates no. e/s or CPU to the task or the service (s) after a short period.

    Among what has been done so far, because I bought the printer Thursday:
    -dozens of software installs / uninstalls with ZoneAlarm and defender completely market
    -A level 3 driver, uninstall and reinstall
    -Uninstalls the success of all the previous HP software.
    -ZoneAlarm settings to open ports and which tasks are in place, such as documented.
    I am running version 9 +. the docs to install Version 8 reference parameters.
    ZoneAlarm has been OFF during installation with the same result.

    Note:

    services.MSC does not show this task running
    I can find the HPSLPSVC32.dll task in the digital imaging bin directory.
    There is a bit of CLSID, firewall name and rule for HPSLPSVC and HPSLPSVC32 registry entries
    If this task is supposed to be running, there's nothing that appears to start, as for example the task CUE.

    Any help is appreciated.  Can this service be started manually or otherwise if it's supposed to be here?

    Found an article on the forum for a similar with XP and C4580 problem after I posted the problem.  Do you have a regsvr32 HPSLPSVC32.dll since the 'bin' directory and restarted as suggested in this announcement.

    Service now shows.

    'Install' for my printer suddenly restarted automatically, and all finished.

    Printer display the buttons work.

    Solution Center works.

    CPU seems normal.

    All right.

    Bravo added another display.

  • HP Office Jet Pro 8630: JO 8630 Pro and HP Solution Center work together

    I had a HP Photo Smart C7280 that crashed. I replaced it with this 8630 Pro JO from HP and HP Solution Center software does not take account of the new printer after that the online setup process was completed. I used the software regularly and I would use it in the new printer as well.

    HP Solusion Center software has been replaced by the most recent model HP Printer Wizard, it is not affiliated with the 8630 anyway.

    You can access the wizard in the HP printer by opening the software HP Officejet Pro 8630 from your desktop or in the start menu > programs > HP, open the folder that is listed as the printer model and then click the printer model icon.

    only 2 possibilities...

    1. fire barrier blocking solutions-solution Center: temporarily disable the firewall for insulation

    2 - PC registry problem-solution:

    Click Start > run and type sfc/scannow, and then click OK.
    Note the space between the c and the /.
    You may need your Windows XP CD so that it is ready.
    If you have Service Pack 2 (SP2) or installed SP3, you will need the SP2 or SP3 version of the CD version. This can be done with a CD borrowed, if you do not.
    Allow the analysis to run, and once completed, restart the system.

    If not resolved, reformat the pc & then install the software before any other hp software. Make sure you backup all your files...

    My printer (Officejet Pro L7590) has been installed and working fine for many months.  Today an update came through that made the invisible printer of HP software.  It is visible on my network like I can see his name and ip address, but all of the HP software is unable to see.  It will not install via a cable connection either.

    Someone please a suggestion that we are without a printer.

    His decided to install today, now fixed but I have no explanation as to why it would not be installed.  The firewall is off and many other things done to ensure he could install.

  • OfficeJet 5740 e not install correctly

    I try to install via USB. The Fax installed but the printer and scanner will not. Have uninstalled and downloaded the drivers a few times. I tried 2 new and 2 old usb cables. 3 different tech support people couldn't understand it either. Last solution was to do a full restore, which would be impossible because I would lose a lot non-recoverable software. The drivers cannot recognize the part priner/scanner unit. I've tried 8 different usb ports (1.1, 2.0 4ea 2ea. 3.0 2ea.) does not. Today I borrowed a friends fully operational xp pc and get the same exact error message "the specified module is not found. I wonder if the drivers have never been tested with an xp system. My xp system runs on other all-in-one usb without problem.

    Has anyone reading this successfully installed one of them on a xp operating system? Any advice would be welcome.

    Thanks for getting back to me!

    Sorry to hear that you still have the problem!  I have another suggestion that might contribute to the addition of the printer!

    You should be able to add the printer using a different printer driver.  The best driver to use is the HP Deskjet 990c driver.

    To add the printer using the HP Deskjet 990c driver:

    1. Open fax machines and printers
    2. Click on add a printer
    3. Select "local printer attached to this computer" and click Next
    4. Select LPT:1 for the print port, and then click Next
    5. Choose HP on the left side
    6. Choose HP Deskjet 990c on the right side, and then click Next
    7. Name the Officejet 5740 printer, and then click Next
    8. You don't need to share the printer
    9. Click next and print a test page!

    Here is a link to a video to manually add the printer HP for Windows XP.  In the video, they do not choose the HP Deskjet 990c driver, but I recommend you do! Just follow the first part of the video at 01:40.

    If this does not remove the printer in printers and faxes.  Follow the steps above to add a printer again.  When you get to step 4, instead of using LPT:1 see if you can select USB because the printer is connected to USB.

  • Printers HP officejet j145 does not install on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    On my new Sony Vaio desktop running Windows 7 Edition family premium, when I plugged my USB for my printer HP officejet j145 connection, apparently found windows update driver generic Microsoft for d-series but starting failed. The error code returned is WindowsUpdate_80070570.    When I tried to use the Add Hardware Wizard to install the printer manually, the error message says parts of the driver are missing or damaged.

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    First, make sure that you get rid of the old driver: http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article_One.htm don't miss the step 4.

    Do NOT connect the printer until the software tells you to do.

    It could be a long, so be prepared, LOL. I took a number of steps before coming here. The original question was that my Officejet 7310 wouldn't print. I would get the error message windows XP has not been able to connect to the spooler or I could be on a VPN. So, I wasn't on a VPN but recently installed a web of Citrix plugin so that my wife could access his tricks to work.  So, I uninstalled Citrix. Any help, same messege. So, I thought that my driver printing or software might be corrupted so I came on the HP site and downloaded the new software and drivers, rub_w01_Americas_Euro1_NB.exe, a download of 448 MB approximately. Tried to install it, it is impossible to find my printer on the network. Reset Officejet 7310 network settings to the factory settings. Any help, software still cannot find my printer on the network. Came to HP.com and found an article that said that I should set the printers IP address to a higher range, I did. Still not good. Thought that the download of the original software might be corrupted, so I downloaded and tried to install again. Same result. Tried the HP scanning and print Dr. we found my printer, but still cannot install the printer. Downloaded a different driver/software package from HP.com, drv_rub_w01_ENU_NB.exe. He found and installed my Officejet 7310.  Problem solved right? Evil. Troubleshooting I uninstalled my player Director HP Photosmart and text. I downloaded the full software package once again, rub_w01_Americas_Euro1_NB.exe and now it is my printer but not complete installation. Only, it stops the installation and disappears. I get no messege installation has been completed or whatever it is. I have HP Director, photo software and reader of text re - install, but as I said, it just stops the installation and disappears.

    Has anyone else had this problem with this problem with this firmware? Can someone tell me how to install completely?

    Using Windows 7 Home Premium - have not had a problem prior to the opening of Firefox, but now it does not open.   • Solution Center does not work under Windows 7 with Officejet Pro L7780

    Downloaded the latest version of the software for Windows 7 and the first issue was when you try to do an installation complete you get a fatal error at the 96 percent mark when she did the configuration. I looked on the web and found a lot of posts on the same problem. Then, I just uninstalled and made a gradual installation.

    Main printer DRIVER installed first. Then did the functions of imaging followed by the solution Center device.

    Installed everything, but when you run the solution center it says it can't open because incomplete installation.

    The printer works from Windows 7.

    I have an XP machine and Solution Center working on it.

    This thread has resolved the problem installing the software that supports the HP Officejet Pro l7780 for use on Windows 7.

    The event viewer showed mistakes that network location for %APPDATA%\protector.exe is not found.

    Even if I couldn't run the original installation of solutioncenter.msi to work without errors in the log file, without making any changes, which has not completely solved the problem.

    Since solutioncenter, initially did not work, I decided to run solutioncenter.msi manually and look at the log file. See errors in the log file we made changes to the database with Orca solutioncenter.msi. It took us on a long road that does not initially sense that HP would put something out there that produced errors in the msi log file.

    I don't know how the setup.exe uses solutioncenter.msi?

    The changes that doesn't seem it to matter when you run the setup.exe file that is provided in the download.

    If I used the modified solutioncenter.msi or version orginal of it as downloaded from HP running setup.exe site had no importance regarding obtaining solutioncenter work in windows 7, canceled only changes in the solutioncenter log file errors.

    I had to make the following changes to the environment variables to get the full package to work, but what is strange is that I could replace the changeed solutioncenter.msi or the original solutioncenter.msi and run setup.exe, with the following environment changes didn't matter. The solution Center has worked in Windows 7 using one of the solutioncenter.exe and setup.exe.

    Apparently, setup.exe does not use the MSI directely. I think that HP responses suggested that in a previous thread.

    Add these entries (click new...) for the owner user variables and System variables:

    In the name box: APPDATA

    In the value box: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming

     

    Run setup.exe and event viewer does not display % APPDATA % Scriptures and all work.

    Unable to get the HP Solution Center to load. Have an officejet pro L7590 all-in-one connected wireless (through the router) on my new computer Windows 8 but had to deceive it calling it a direct connection.

    I have a new computer with Windows 8.  I managed to get my HP officejet pro all-in-one L7590 printer connected and working with software downloaded from HP.  During installation it placed an icon on my desktop (the old format disktop I love) to the center of HP solutions, but when I try to open the Solution Center a message indicates that the installation is not complete.  When I try to install more software it brings back me to the orginal installation and indicates that the device is already installed.

    I want to clarify again once my choice of installation was directly connected even if it is wireless via a router.  It was the only way I could make it work.

    The Network Configuration page was just that you will find the IP address, but you have this.  It is not as important now.  Now that I've shown you a method to help you analyze let us begin the process is not easy to get the Solution Center works again.

    I was very happy to find an official document on your computer Windows 8 and the solution Center.  I think this should help you when you select your operating system on this page.  It is titled "The scanning device estintrouvable and other related errors" and will be a little better explain what you need to try to get the Solution Center to work once again, I am.

    Let me know if you have any questions concerning one of the steps here and I will do my best to answer those as quickly as possible. I do not know a few things to do if it does not, but it is certainly the best advice to try first.

    If you want to go ahead with uninstall and reinstall, uninstall the printer software from the Control Panel on your PC, restart your PC then to complete uninstallation and download and run the installation from here: HP Deskjet and Officejet full feature software and drivers

    Once installation is complete, open the Solution Center on your desktop and try to check the levels of ink again.
