ink carriage move

I get the message "Paper jam" and will not spend my ink cart.  Solutions.

same thing here... wrong. I think my warranty was up to about 2 hours ago.

Seems cheaper to go and buy a new printer, rather than their dog for a replacement.

I'll buy a 9.99 plan protection (from BJ) with the next command.

I would like to know if there is a solution... exhausted

My cartridge was blocked completely to the right, could not move at all. After having much jiggling autour and try to pull to the left the transport kind of jumps down a little more inside to the right.  I tried to pull it to the left, but he was stuck again as something he was blocking, and it came to the top when I shot more difficult.  I messed with it to the point where the transport jumped down, and then I plugged the printer in and it worked very well. I know not what was wrong with it exactly, but it seemed to fix it

It seems that there might be a power supply problem or there might be a hardware malfunction. Please, try the following steps to see if we can solve the problem.

Try the steps in the order presented:

    • Unplug the USB cable.
    • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
    • Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a hub or a surge protector). This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
    • Connect the cable USB in once the printer has finished his departure without errors.

If the problem persists, follow the steps in this guide: print cartridge error.

If you have completed all the above steps and your product still has a problem, service the product.

  • My HP D1314 makes a noise "hit" big as the carriage moves back very quickly.

HP D1341 - when you select print, the carriage moves very fast back & comes with a sound of 'grand slam' several times.  There is no paper jam. Flashing light on printer 'flashes '.  After that the carriage moves back & suite 5 - 6 times, the prnter will print.   If printing of envelopes, the printer will continue printing each after the other without noise.  The noise is only with the "initial" print job  Control Panel indicates "paperjam" However, there is none.

    Any solution is greatly appreciated.

    Sally

    Hello sack797,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you have a HP D1314 that deploys a load banging noise when the printer starts a job. This could be the case, or the closure of the station on the printer, this is what prevents the ink to dry. If this is the cause, this would explain why, once the printer starts work the noise disappeared.

I wasn't able to find anything specific to this printer, or capping station, but it is directed to the printer, making the noise: sound is produced while printing.

I hope that it will make a difference.

  • Re: C510 black eStation ink cartridge work do not

Frustrated REEEEEALLY. After screwing around all day trying to get stuff printed I sit tonight with a new black ink cartridge and it's either not all black printing or it is a pale gray. All other cartridges work. Come here, when I click on links to every possible solution nothing opens for me. Before anyone asks, this printer is about 2 or 3 years, but had BARELY BARELY BARELY served. It is connected to an HP computer that is only a few years old with exceptionally light use also. I installed the updates that were available. He printed some photos fine this am, but I'm trying to print documents has put me in such a rage today I had better just go to bed. Warranty is out, so much for spending money on a printer expensive in the hope that it would last. Hope this will be a quick solution. It's really annoying to keep buying new printers all the few years despite them get such use of the lamp

Hi @Furbio and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I'm sorry to hear you had so much trouble for your C510 to print in black, but I will certainly do my best to give a helping hand

Because you mentioned that you have questions, open links of the forums, I'll have everything written here in my post, so I apologize in advance for how long this post can get!

First of all, I would like you to clean the contacts on each cartridge by following the steps below taken from the document a "incompatible cartridge" or "not compatible ink cartridges" Error Message on the computer or the all-in-onefor your printer. "

Follow these steps to clean the electrical contacts of the cartridge.
    1. gather the following items:
    Clean cotton pads
Paper clean and lint to rest the cartridges on (coffee filters work well)
    2. press the power button to turn on the printer.
    3. open the cartridge access door. Lift the corner front right of the printer until it locks on the door in the full open position. Wait until the print carriage to move toward the center of the printer.
    4. press the tab on the front of the cartridge to release it, then pull it up and out to remove it from its housing.
5 hold the cartridge by its sides with the nozzle facing up.
6 locate the electrical contacts on the bottom of the cartridge. The electrical contacts are four small rectangles of copper metal.

7 wipe the electrical contacts with a q-tip clean and dry until no debris remains on them. Make sure that no ink or debris from the smear on the transparent window next to the electrical contacts.
    8. place the cartridge on the clean and lint paper with the nozzle upward.
9 locate the electrical contacts inside the carriage. Electrical contacts are similar to a set of four copper color placed pins to touch the electrical contacts on the cartridge.
    10. clean the electrical contacts inside the car with a clean, dry cotton swab, second.
    * Please do for each cartridge, just to be complete
11 drag each cartridge into the slot that is appropriate until it snaps. Make sure that you insert each cartridge into the slot with the corresponding color icon.
    12. close the cartridge access door.

After completing these steps cleaning cartridge, if the problem still persists, I would like to manually clean the electrical contacts on your print head (the part the cartridges sit in inside of). These measures were taken from the replacement print head for your printer paper (with a few changes to make things more clear ).

Follow these steps to clean the electrical contacts on the print head and inside the printer.
    1. press the power button to turn on the printer, if it is not already selected.
    2. open the cartridge access door. The carriage moves to the center of the printer. Wait that the carriage is idle and silent before proceeding.
    3. to remove the cartridges, press the tab on the front of the cartridge, and then pull it upwards to remove it from its housing. Do this for each cartridge.
    4. to remove the print head, lift the locking on the carriage to the stop handle.

    5. place the print head on its side on lint cloth or absorbent paper and use a fluffy and filtered/distilled water to clean the electrical contacts inside the printer as shown below.

6 proceed to clean the electrical contacts of the print head as well using the same materials. Just be careful not to touch the contacts with your fingers.

    7. once everything is dry (try not to let the printhead out for more than 10 minutes if possible) please proceed to reinsert the printhead to the printer and gently drop the locking handle to fix it up before you reinsert the cartridges and close the printer.

When the printer is finished it is maintenance, try to print a report to see if the black is printing printer or if something has changed with the next steps in the document printing to a printer status report for your printer.

    1. In the home screen on the product control panel, press Menu () in the upper left corner. A list of menu options screens.

  • Hardware issues with HP Deskjet Ink Adv 2060 K110

    Nice day

Product name: HP Deskjet Ink Adv 2060 K110

    Windows 8

Once the printer is powered on, the thing inside that contains the ink cartridge moves once and "plant".

What happens usually when the printer is turned on is that 'door-ink cartridges' slides back twice. What happens is that after having slipped once (left to right), it goes back to the left and crashes as it struck something inside.

After losing, the 'ink cartridge support' would slip to the right side and it would be brand X in the printer indicating that something was wrong and that the unit would not be able to print.

Is what I can do to solve this problem or should I wear the device to the nearest store of HP and let the technician handle?

Any suggestions would really be welcome,

    Thank you

    Hey @Jhames,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are having a hardware problem with your all-in-one HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 machine. I would like to work with you to solve the 'transport' problems that you encounter. Because the transport is the thing that moves left and right inside the printer does not respond properly I will treat this matter as a cart or a Paper Jam.

You have all the flashing lights on the front panel of the printer not to mention that the (X)?

For now I will you perform the following steps. These steps will guide you through checking your paper path and to ensure that the carriage moves freely inside the product:

    Solution: Open the output tray
    1. Open the output tray.

  • OfficeJet 6700 new Premium of evil with the ink cartridges... message arrives they are damaged

No product serial [under the direction of privacy] # CV078A

Setup of cartridges ran out of ink.  Bought a combo pack and replaced all of them at once.  Regularly we would get a message that one or more cartridges have been damaged.  It would remove the one at once and reinstall and it works again for a while, then the message would get back to the top.  After several types of this problem we started to replace each cartridge one at a time to try to isolate the damaged cartridge.  No luck.  Now we have two complete sets of ink cartridges and it still gives the message that a cartridge is damaged.  New message today is that transport of ink can not move and we should remove the obstruction and try again.  There is no obstruction.  When we close the door to the box the cartridge carriage move and made a loud BANG.  Looks like it moves to the left.  Then it will pass through its preparation and the message arrives that the one or more ink cartridges are damaged.  UGH!

Since your printer is under warranty I think contact you HP.  The coding Strip is fragile and it would be better to replace professionally if it was an option.

  • Advantage 2545: Too noisy printer

Is anyone experiencing the same thing with all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545. The printer works fine, but it has an annoying problem. It is curious when you're printing. It's really disturbing. Is it possible to make it less noisy?

I am a writer and blogger at booboone.com . I like and use of HP products in my office.

    Hi @Delarno

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that your 2545 seems to be stronger, then it should be.

Spec wise, it is not that strong. Although all the ears and reviews of the sound intensity is different.

(Viewer position) of acoustic pressure: LpAm 50 (dBA) (mono project printing)
    Sound power: 6.3 b (a)

Source: Plug printer for HP Deskjet 2540, 2545 printers

I do not have the printer, but if it is strong, it would be interesting to talk to a hotline. This link will create a case. www.HP.com/contacthp/

    It also brings a squeak?

Is this a new issue or the printer since always noisy?

So new, this is an event where he started to be noisy?

Look for any obstruction or broken in the transport path part.

Make sure that the carriage moves freely.

Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure that they are properly installed in the device.

Perform a hard reset. (while the printer is on, unplug the power cord for 30 seconds and then reconnect the power supply)
