Inserting a Windows Media Player in a web page in Dreamweaver Mx

I created a web page where music is important for the page. I followed the technical notes for inserting a Windows Media Player in a web page (01/10/07). The instructions don't work for me - I use Dreamweaver MX 2004. The website url is: http://www.freewebs.com/artsensations/. To view the source code, RT. Click on the navigation at the bottom section. I would really appreciate help on this. Thank you, Pat

Thank you, Steve,.

You can direct me to the technical notes or instructions on using the Flash to include audio racks in my page?

  • How can I insert a video windows media player on my Web page?

    Hello

I want to insert a video in windows media player on my Web page. (actually I want to insert 3 on 1 page, but to start, I'll be happy with 1!)

Dreamweaver, says it does not recognize the file type, and using dreamweaver is pretty bad on this topic.

    Any help gratefully received

    Thank you very much

Flash Video is the gold standard used on YouTube, FaceBook, MySpace and other video sharing sites now.  DW makes it easy to insert Flash Video, but harder for other types of files.

In Code view, paste this into your page and change the two instances of videofilename.wmv to yours.

  • Windows Media Player does not not in Firefox 7

This applies to a beta version of Internet radio page at http://www.radiofreeneptune.com/ with the Windows Media Player embedded in the page.

Before Forefox 7, navigation on the page with Firefox had the correct media player interface (black, with blue buttons) appear as soon as the page loaded. Clicking Play caused the music played.

After having updated for Firefox 7, Firefox works for about a minute when the page is first accessed (it seems to be buffering a lot of audio). Finally a gross Media Player interface appears. Audio begins to play immediately, even if the control incorporated there AutoStart set to false.

FireFox has the Microsoft Windows Media Player for Firefox 1.0.0.8 installed.

Any idea of what this could be the cause?

    Thank you.

    Jack

Try to delete the old plugin in WMP (Npdsplay dll in the plugins list) that is used.

The embed for Firefox autostart a = '1' not not autostart = false (0) as the object for IE.

    Hi TerryodO'Donnell.

The manufacturer of your computer would have installed extra software on your computer to create CD labels.

So, you can use LightScribe system software to create CD labels.

  • In Windows Media Player when I try to listen to a CD that I pulled it out of my computer, a new tab opens in Firefox "license cannot be downloaded because your Web browser is not supported.

I use Windows Media Player 11 and I have Internet Explorer 8 is installed on XP Pro and when I try to listen to a CD that I pulled it out of my computer, a new tab opens in Firefox (my default browser), with the following message:

The license can not be downloaded because your Web browser is not supported.
To download a license, you must install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later.
To install the latest version of Internet Explorer, see the Windows Update page.

What do I need any type of license to, to listen to music, I ripped a CD I bought, and furthermore that the browser has to do with what ever automated procedure Microsoft Media Player must perform?

Suspecting that not having IE selected as the default browser might be interfering, I did so (something I'm not impressed about) and instead, was taken through to a Windows Media Technologies page http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/pdrm/en/welcome.asp?challenge=AAEAAZB*vUQ029QDmL5QfLzVnjGCf9din34fu*twoJQKPK0Agme7r3JqmhpZNJIHdVJ3JF20CQEtGSO6im53G7MUAjceYDRQUZXp2ghI5bYyB7kJjpvQoHFJNtNRWAvEXvv!fk7GbENwhn1K0gzMvWstLFBf3Esp9laOTsOCLqO7FqCfeYinJkeEGUevauivoM3NLAJOP4exrtgQX4zeRcujxi7W7AmLGDNRhh2qEgP1WmXh2PkzNZXwSn3QznsTK8!up58P10sX&DRMVer=1.4&embedded=false that provided some information about Licensing and Migrations and offered the opportunity to Download a License.  However, after selecting this button has encountered an error: 438 unknown error occurred when you store your license.

Where are the stored licenses and why this is happening with all the music I have on my computer?

I would appreciate an overview of this and especially a viable solution.  Thanks for your time.

I don't know what happened, but I can't get some information on the web when I copy a CD. Tried to reinstall windows 11 media, still have the problem. Has raced without change, tool, spybot, windows Defender malware. Hope someone out there has found it. My operating system is XP Pro.

    Thanks in advance, Steve

    Hello

    ·         You get the error message?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to refer to this article and check if it helps.

    Add or edit media information

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-XP/help/Windows-Media-Player/11/album-info

    Method 2:

Also temporarily, try to Disable Antivirus and firewall programs and check if the problem persists.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If you have a music video, your friends sing you could install a flash drive on the Web site. If it is just an audio file, you must download the file to a file free host then post a link to the file on the Web site.  If Windows Media Player comes into play depends on what media player the person clicking the link used as their default media player. Windows Media Player will play no role in the file on your website. The link below contains a list of free audio files, hosting sites. There are many others that you can find with a simple search on Google.

    Hello

    1. don't you also get an error with the message code?
2 have you installed third-party readers part?
    3. What is the format of the files you are trying to play?

Follow these steps and check if they help.

    Step 1:

I would have you readers of third party temporarily Uninstall and check if persists it to the question.

    Step 2:

Most likely you need codecs to play these files with Windows Media Player. I suggest looking up codec in the Internet that supports the file format, download and install them.
