    Hello

Having a problem with my Netgear D7000 in mode access point.

My laptop (MacBook Pro) can successfully connect to WiFi and my PC connects fine cable using the D7000 as a switch.

iOS devices, however, hurt that is to get or maintain a connection - even if they connect to and then some time later they will fall the network. Go to settings shows the client attempts to connect, but seems to be stuck with an assigned random IP (not on the subnet of law), no gateway by default, etc..

iOS clients are an iPad 3, iPhone 5 & iPhone 5 c. All about the latest version of iOS.

Other access points by train (Belkin, billion) that's fine.

DHCP etc. everything is managed by my router which is a constant for all devices and access points - but I tried to change that, and he has not made a difference also.

D7000 is on the latest firmware (v28), I tried to reset it and setting up from scratch, but no joy.

    Any ideas?

  • Satellite L450D: Windows 7 and Netgear connection problems

    Hello

Ive recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L450D but I can't connect to a netgear wireless account...
It works fine on another laptop and my toshiba can connect to an account of different eircom without problem...

What is the new Windows 7, which is not compatible with the server or do I have another problem!

    Thank you! :)

    Hello

What you mean with Netgear wireless account exactly? Do you mean the router Netgear WLAN?

Normally, you can connect to each WLAN router. It makes no difference which manufacturing, you have the router but factory settings are different, this means that some routers have DHCP and static IP addresses, for example. I think you should check the TCP/IP configuration and update the WLAN driver.

Check for an update WLAN Portal: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

  • Bluetooth network and Internet connection sharing problem

I am putting in place a network via Bluetooth between two computers later with Toshiba Stack installed and to share the Internet connection with the second computer.

On the computer of trees I put Internet connection sharing, and for this reason, it automatically assigns addresses TCP/IP for the Bluetooth Personal Area network (192.168.0.1).
On computer 2, I put everything to get it automatically. Firewall (Kaspersky) disabled.

When I connect 2 Bluetooth devices, everything looks fine, the 2nd automatically gets the IP address, I can ping both computers and Internet works also on the 2nd computer, for a few seconds! After that, it appears as the 2nd computer is disconnected from the network... what could be the problem?

In the case of the observer under the System tab, I found information like these:
    2nd comp:
The system has detected that the network \DEVICE\TCPIP_{E44D18EB-91F5-4 adapter has been connected to the network and launched a normal operation via the network card.

The browser has forced an election on network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{E44D18EB-... because a master browser was stopped.

and the 1st model also appears this:
The system has detected that the network Bluetooth adapter... Area Network - Packet Scheduler Miniport has been disconnected from the network, and the network adapter configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers.

In your case, I would look at the following Web site:
    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/redirect.php?page=pages/HOWTO.html
    It lists the following document:
"Internet on PDA via PAN using Notepad as a gateway."
In your case, the PDA is another laptop, but the procedure should be very similar.
I would check the firewall settings later if it still does not work.

We tried to download Skype and Internet Explorer8 keeps freezing on us.  Is is possible to solve the problem without having to upgrade to Windows 2007 and Internet Explorer9?

God - why you would think that you need to upgrade to Windows 7 (not "2007") and Internet Explorer 9 to "solve" a problem?  It seems that someone listening to extremists.

What software antivirus you are using, and he was always running, and updates?

You are in Windows XP Service Pack 3?

In any case... Here are the steps I would take to solve your problem:

In the Panel--> Add / Remove Programs (in that order, restart if necessary...)

    • I suggest you uninstall Skype if you have already installed.
    • Then, uninstall all browser plugins... (RealPlayer/Real Alternative, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave, QuickTime/iTunes, Silverlight, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) - all versions you have installed, etc.)
    • Also uninstall ALL toolbars - those who are just pigs resource and responsible for the problem.
    • Uninstall Internet Explorer 8 (back to Internet Explorer 7).

    Then I would...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

    Reset.

Now reset your Windows with this FixIt components update (you * NOT * use the aggressive version):
How to reset the Windows Update components?

    Reset.

Then, after all the above, I...

    • Install Internet Explorer 8
    • Reset
    • Search Windows Update and install all updates critical - avoid the optional.  Rebbot and repeat until there is no more critical.
    • Reset.
    • Install your plugins from the Internet browser (recent versions of their manufacturers download web pages...)
(Real Alternative, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave, QuickTime/iTunes, Silverlight, Java Runtime Environment (JRE), etc.).
    • Reset.
    • Download and install the latest version of Skype.

While I can't guarantee that will completely fix everything - he would certainly be on the right track and would likely result in a more rapid/better running machine.

You could follow that everything up with...

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

    ... and...

Get and install the hardware device last drivers for your system hardware/system manufacturers support and/or download web site.

    ... On top of that.

Maybe even install a different Internet browser.  Always good to have a backup (Firefox for example), especially one you might find yourself using more Internet Explorer - make * it * your backup plan.  * smile *.

When I run a "diagnose connection problems", I get the following message: "cannot communicate with primary DNS (192.X.X.X) - diagnostics network ping to the remote host server, but has not received a response.

I am connected to the router and I know that I have a connection between the computer and the router... However, for some reason, the router doesn't connect with the internet.

I tried reseting the network adapter "connecting to LAN" - but that has not solved the problem either.

Any help is appreciated... problem was raised only in the last day

Hello and welcome to the community!

To use the exclusive services of BB (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB- contact them for assistance. Once you have an email Push-enabled compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have personal/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

    Good luck!

  • Internet and network problems

I have a big red X on my wireless signal icon, but I can still connect to the internet. Then after the recent updates I lose internet totally. Summer fixing it through system restore. Tired to do it every two days. Contacted verizon, they say it's a problem of configuration system32folder. But what I do about it?

    Hi LorenzoMiller,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community. According to the description of the problem, there is a red X on the icon of the wireless signal. Provide the following information:

    ·         Updates (issues KB) have you installed?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         You use a third-party security software?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

    Startup options (including safe mode)

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.
