iPhone whistling noise 7 +.

I seem to have a problem with my IP7 +. It is a whistle in charge and the noise is also picked up by the microphone when you save videos.  Any1 else with this issue? Apple seems to have remained silent on this subject

Did you actually contacted AppleCare about this?

Hello. I was thinking of getting the iPhone 7, but lately, the problem of noise resulting (hiss) because I'm not going to take now. Is - this problem stems from what could be reversed? Really annoying situation. We expect an explanation from Apple.

  • My computer makes a whistling noise when turned on

When I turn on my netbook starts to whistle, this sound comes and goes

Could check you if the noise comes from:

    1. Your speakers
    2. The internal components of your computer

As stated by SpiritX, it is more than likely to be the fan, but it is good to check the source of the noise.
If you have any doubt about the noise coming from your speakers, you should get your netbook checked by a certified computer technician or the store where you got the computer.
If your fan stops, the whole of your computer could degrade. It is urgent.

  • whistling noise brand-new macbook air

    Hello

(video showing my problem at the end)

I've just switched to Mac a week ago and have a small hiss when my mac is inactive or when I close the lid and reopen immediately (it happens every time, even if I once again, as in the video).

It's less than a week and I installed a few programs and applications at the same time so I don't know which one of them could be the cause or if it's a hardware problem?

I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 on a Macbook air 13 "with the processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz and 512 GB SSD

Programs and applications include chrome, vlc, spotify, Skype, vm ware fusion, memory clean 2, caffeine, anytrans, google keep and SecureDownloadManager

Note: my friend has bought exactly the same Mac with i5 processor and has EXACTLY the same programs and applications (unless vmware fusion, which does not work when I hear the noise and the memory clean 2, I tried to quit smoking to see if the noise is still there and there was...)

Note 2: I download the free version of Soundbunny to control the rendering of all applications, all mute mets and he always made the sound noise

Note 3: If I lower the volume, the sound is lower is not hardware related (I found a lot of people complain about macbook pro noise CPU in my research to track down that noise)

Here is a video of the noise:

Unable to say a video, but it could be a hardware problem.

If the computer is new you should take it back to apple.

  • HP envy 15 touchsmart whistling noise from the fan

    Hello
I have a hp envy 15 touchsmart j101tx. My problem is that whenever the fan is on, a hissing sound comes from the laptop. The sound is quite loud and very annoying when the fan is at full speed. After some time I realized that the noise is caused by a white cable passing over the fan when the air passes through. Can you suggest a solution for this because the noise is very annoying, especially in the office

    Hi @Nobert_01

I understand that you are having problems with the noise of the fan, apparently due to a cable that seems out of place or friction. I'm happy to help you.

Because the sound seems to be caused by the cable rubbing against the fan, one solution might be to try to adjust its position. To this end, here is the: PC portable HP ENVY 15 and HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service of Guide

It provides instructions for disassembly, and if you want you can try to fix them carefully as cable companies so is no longer in contact with the fan.

    I hope this helps.

  • Dell Xps 17 straight pregnant L702x a whistling noise + sometimes it loses volume? What is the problem?

    Hello

I am faced with an irritating problem, I noticed that my right speaker sometimes will decrease volume, and then after awhile, it will return to normal volume / or I believe it loses low, which means that the sounds of the left speaker stronger, then the right speaker. Last night I noticed there was a crackling sound from the right speaker, it wasn't strong, but when the room is quiet then you could hear it. I don't know if the problem is on the right speaker.

Can someone please guide me to know what's the problem, my warranty just ran out last month so I have to be on what the problem actually is the first

    James192131
I didn't notice this before but my helmet is loose, for example if I plug my headphones into the Jack, you don't need no strength at all to stick it in and out.

Maybe you should look into getting an extended from Dell warranty.

If you ever decide to work on it, you can get the part with the audio of people parts (parts of Dell specialists). They also have the left/right speakers for $15. Their parts are mainly used, but a guarantee.

  • Qosmio F20 speakers making hissing noise

    Hello

My Qosmio F20 has a strange problem. After turning on the laptop, the speakers start making a whistling noise. You can clearly hear it all the time. Toshiba has just replaced the motherboard but tis whistle is still there. Is it normal for the Qosmio F20? When I turn off the sound in Windows the whistle went, also after that put in headphones (there no hiss in the headphones...) the noise disappeared.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Borlando

    Hello Borlando

Over the past two months also have F20 and I don't really no bad experiences. Sound quality is good especially with the virtual sound. F20 has small speakers and you can't force them up. I did some experiments with all the details of the built in speakers option and I am very satisfied.

    Good bye

  • HP Envy 7640: HP Envy 7640 noise

My new HP Envy 7640 makes a low sound, but cleary whistling noise even when it is off (noise stopped only if I unplugged the power supply completely).  I went back to the shop and received a replacement, but the replacement does the same thing.  Is this a general feature of the HP envy 7640 or is there a solution?

    Hello Boutos,

I suggest you call the HP Technical Support for assistance.

If you are in the United States, the toll free # is 1-800-474-6836.

If you're not in the United States, and then connect to www.hp.com , bottom left it is an icon of the world map, click it and then select the region that you belong to, which would then provide the support options for you for this region.

My new HP Officejet 6830 is a very large slope whistling noise.  It reminds me sort of modems phone old noise used to do.  The noise seems to come from the area where the power cord is attached.  The noise continues even when the printer is turned off: only unplug it stops the noise.  Is it a problem that I can fix it?  Or do I have to return the printer?

  • Sound did not work, tried to fix it... got Loud whistling instead

I had trouble with my DELL XPS L502xX sound, it would work for: Web browsers and team speak, it worked for spotify, but now it does not work for what it is, I tried to look for solutions, and I think I've done worse by following these step I would have probably not done:

    1. open Device Manager and look for the device for which you want to restore the driver. The XPS L501X has graphics Intel or nVidia.
    2. right click on the name or the icon of the device and click Properties.
    3. in the Properties window for the device, click the driver tab.
    4. on the driver tab, click roll back to the previous version. (Is it is disabled, then it is not a previous driver to roll back to.) When the computer is restarted, the old driver will be installed.

After that I took these steps, I've restarted the laptop and the sound would not work on anything... so I went to the Control Panel > Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers

and it said Realtek High Definition Audio is disabled, so I gave him and then this whistling noise started coming out of my helmet, so I tried unplugging my headphones and the sound was still there, so I disabled it, and now I don't know what to do.

The XPS L501X has graphics Intel or nVidia.

Why you were looking at the graphics drivers to fix an audio problem?

In any case, try to use the Windows system restore. (Click Start, and then type system restore in the search box on Windows.) Select a restore point dated before before you rolled back graphics drivers. That expected to get riders to the way they were.

If this does not work, then download and install a new copy of the Realtek audio driver.

    > Go to the XPS L502x support page.

    > Find the small blue 'Change OS' button and select your operating system (Win 7 or 8). Don't skip this step.

    > Expand the Audio category.

    > Download the Realtek driver.

  • XPS 13 whistling hiss of motherboard

Someone else with a Dell XPS 13 hears a whistle/whistle noise that changes frequency at random? It's very embarrassing for me. A Dell technician has replaced the mobo and disconnected the screen, battery, keyboard backlighting, speakers and disc, so noise should come from the mobo. He told me that probably all XPS 13 s make this noise, but I can't believe I'm the first person to be driven crazy by it. Is not very strong, and if the fan is running it masks it. But in the middle of the night without the fan turns, it is very obvious and boring even from a few meters more far.

So far the Dell told me: "these steps should solve your problem" and connected to a massive thread on ALSA on ubuntuforums, who said to try a million different things. (I did, nothing solved the problem). (it's a Sputnik, but the noise is there in the bios, so it has nothing to do with linux). Interestingly, I hear not the sound while the diagnostics are running.

They also said: "We are working on an issue that seems similar to what you have." But for the moment not responded to my request for more details.

I have a Dell XPS 13 Haswell, and he also whistles. It's worse with the backlight on the keypad is on. It is also triggered by some trendy 3 USB products.

I have a USB hub 3.0 Anker plugged as a sort of dock, so now the machine whistles constantly. It is very annoying.

I suspect that the problem is due to electromagnetic interference (EMI), which could possibly be solved by better protecting.

The potential for USB 3 causes of EMI is well known. Intel has a white paper on this subject:

    http://www.Intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/white-papers/USB3-frequency-interference-paper.PDF

    Dell should know better.

In particular, it ruins sitting in a quiet room with laptop computer, where all you can here is portable computer whistling destructive development.

I expected more of a computer laptop premium and will conduct the review to buy another Dell in the future if it is not resolved.

  • Noise removal help

I received the wrong audio interview with one of our camera men.

It was recorded with a just T5 cannon using the internal mic.

The camera was spaced approximately seven feet in front of the object and has a lot of breath.

Fortunately, no unusual trucks or background noise varying didn't hear.

The full interview is twenty minutes. Seal is a part of the interview that has the same whistling noise is all along.

Could someone round plays thereby and provide the steps they took to get the best cleaning audio content?

Here's the audio reference just the noise reduction

Dropbox - reff audio just noise.mp3

I just have a piece of theatre, working with a combination of which described both Steve and ryclark.  The dehummer setting seemed on-site.

I actually did 4 separate passes and going back in the form of reduction of noise, starting by the size of the FFT to 2048 by assigning to each passage.  Don't forget to put your sample of noise at the head of the actual voice, then you can change that to every pass as well.

Advice on the use of preview to listen to the NR effect and adjust the reduction percentage and the dB in ear every time Steve.  Too much in one go and you get a strange metallic effect.  I found myself with +/-10% and 10 dB most of the time.  The final result (after I it upward to what I was ranked as "not good, but you can hear and understand the speaker".)

  • Weird bug in Premiere Pro CS6 whistle

I have a very strange problem with audio in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

Whenever I have create a furrow in an audio clip, a few seconds of hissing broadband is introduced in it after the cut. The hiss is only in the exported video. It does not appear after each cut, but about 10% of them.

The whistling is also there when I export in various video/audio formats. This is when I used different codecs edition. He might be there for the clips I recorded with some not very good microphones on a Canon 5 d II, but the hiss appears only after that I have a tool for audio editing and export audio/video or just audio. Sometimes however it shows immediately in PP before export. If I clean the whistle at the hearing for a given element I hear is no longer in PP but once again it reappears after export.

It seems that the problem appears when editing video shot on a Canon 5 d MII with the camera in mic or several microphones of rifle hunting, but not with a lapel mic decent. Change Edition and export codecs does not help the problem.

    (i7 960 3.3 GHz, Win 7 sp1 12 GB, Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 1280MB, PP 6.02)

All the clips had reduced a whistling noise.  Nobody has found a good solution for the Bug of weird whistling "?"

Sure.  Do not use these effects.  Make your audio work in hearing.

  • BlackBerry passport when viewing a video on Facebook or Youtube, speakers stops playing suddenly

    Hello

Hope someone can help me with this... Just got a new Blackberry passport a week ago, coming from an iphone 4 s. I have play videos on Facebook and Youtube and after a few seconds/minutes a VERY STRONG high pitch sound (more like a whistling noise) suddenly burst speakers, then slowly his is dimishing and after a few seconds, no more sounds of Blackberry coming out of speakers. The music plays, but no sound, even for the videos and key tone. I need to reboot my bb for my speakers to work again. What happens here?

Thanks for you help in advance!

    Frank

@frankviolette506 you play the in the browser? or in the apps?

It shouldn't make a difference, but it might help to determine where the problem is.

My Passport works perfectly for videos on OS 10.3.1.1581.

    Some things you can try:

    (1) I wish to usse BBVE, which comes with your device. Launch the tool, select the Center button, which will give you a list of tests and run the audio tests. He will perform a few tests that allow you to test the speakers, etc.

If one of them fails, I would first reload the OS using the software Link. Then rerun the tests. If they still fail I guess a hardware problem, I hope still under warranty.

  • Toshiba WL863 takes too long to start and its Set Top box problem

    Hello

Aside from no YouTube on the TV - is not a real question

    I have 2 problems with WL863 TV:

    1. the TV takes long time to turn on (between 2.5 and 4 minutes).
    2. the sound of the TV from a Set Top box (HDMI) changes from time to time, as if a low-pass filter has been activated, living just a whistling noise, but returns to normal every few minutes.

    I use the latest firmware.

This would have something to do with the settings, or do I have to send the TV for repair under warranty?

    Please give some suggestions.

    Thank you

    > 1. The TV takes time to market (between 2.5 and 4 minutes).
Have you noticed that in the past, or the first day of purchase?

If not, I recommend you load the default settings (reset) TVs and check it again.
In the case where the reset won't help you, it might be that a question and device TV related material must be verified by the service agent.

    > 2. The sound of the television to a Set Top box (HDMI) changes from time to time, as if a low-pass filter has been activated, living just a whistling noise, but returns to normal every few minutes.

This problem could be linked to the connected Set Top Box and not the TV device.

TV receives the audio signal from the external, connected HDMI (in your Set Top Box case) device. Check if the same audio issues would be noticeable by using another external device like a DVD or BD player. In case the sound issue would be noticeable only with decoder, the question isn't related to the TV, but to the external device.
