The first few weeks, I got Windows 7 32 Bit on my Satellite Pro P300D 201, it worked fine. But suddenly, there was a blue screen with the label "reference_by_pointer" I've tried to stop as usual. I have not installed any new software a few days before (just a few updates "Windows Update"). Now this apears blue screen every time I try to stop. Hibernation and energy saving still work.

But, sometimes when I connect my mobile phone "Sony Ericsson K800i" using the USB connection and the "Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6" it is "irql_not_less_or_equal" blue screen.»

I don't know if theres something wrong with the RAM/working memory, but I can't think because this computer is brand new and it never fell down or something like that.

I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm still learning.

    Hello

Perhaps Windows isn't compatible with your software up-to-date and causing this BSOD. You should try to use the restore system to a previous state.

Also have you updated the software for your mobile phone? Maybe it's not compatible with Windows 7's again. Visit the site of the factory for an update.
I have the same phone but I m using MyPhoneExplorer which works quite well on Windows 7 but I m using the Bluetooth connection and not on the cord.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your message on the problems of file system on your new PC Win10 and wanted to help.

There are two different issues that can cause this problem: the corruption of the file system (1) and (2) failure to road.

Although it is a relatively new system, we will treat the second first following these instructions to test the hard drive: test a hard drive in the BIOS. HP® customer support

My guess is that will succeed and the player will not display as failed.

The first problem is more difficult to deal with, you will need to do the following:

    (1) remove the drive from your PC

    (2) connect the player to a job by using a USB of PC-to-adapter disk key

    (3) download and install this tool on the other PC: free Partition Manager - Partition Wizard Standard AOMEI software

    (4) use the tool to run a file system on the disk check

If that does not solve the problem, while the PC is still under warranty, you must contact HP customer care directly so that they can put you in contact with HP Technical Support to see what they can do on the diagnosis and repair of your machine remotely.  If they determine the defective disc, you should be able to get a free replacement under warranty.

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

  • Avast AV causing BSOD multipe

    Hello
About 5 weeks ago, I replaced MSE with Avast! 5. because I get different blue screens (most have no error code) and then after restarting the PC Avast broke down (all filters are disabled, crashes if I try to restart it less of ~ 2 min. after start the computer).
Just today, I got a blue screen with the following error message: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and technical details:
    STOP: 0X0000000A, 0 X 00000054, 0X0000001B, 0X00000001, 0X8260EFE9. Once I rebooted, I received the following message:
A problem with your antivirus software

A problem with your antivirus caused your computer to close unexpectedly to protect themselves from corruption or data loss.

To try to resolve this problem, follow these steps. One step might solve the problem, but if it isn't, then go to the next step.

    1. Update your anti-virus software

    2. Look for several programs antivirus running on your computer

    3. Contact the manufacturer of the antivirus

Avast is had not crashed. (1) Avast was up-to-date. ((2) I have only 1 AV - Avast 3) Avast costs $ 50 for phone support, and suck their forums.
      How can I fix it?

Sorry her did not work. I'll just remove Avast and revert to MSE. Thanks anyway!

  • More problems with BSOD? Need help!

So I already made a thread on the BSOD and thought that I had solved the problem. But, I've got 2 blue screens tonight. One was "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and the fault was of ntoskrnl.exe84d5b and the other ntoskrnl.exef20d4.  I have downloaded on my SkyDrive (https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=5051AC31078E096A%21149), mini dump files if someone could read the files and give their opinion on what could be the cause of it, I would really appreciate it.

I think it might be my motherboard some how, it has been with me all the time that since the BSOD. I changed almost every component.
Someone suggested that it could be a memory error, but it's unreleased memory, I tried in another machine of friends and there not once BSOD. I bought a new graphics card, thinking that they were the cause of the BSOD but it was very good. I also bought an SSD of 335 Intel, which is quite good in other platforms. Only other thing left for material is motherboard, what could be her.
    Thank you very much.

    Anne

These related to the nvlddmkm.sys nVidia Display Driver.  There is a known issue with this driver (December 2013).  I would come back to a previous driver (6 months old) at least until they release a new driver with less bugs.

Also of note, you still have the remnants of Symantec, which is known to be problematic and Kaspersky (also problematic).  If updating the video driver solves the problem I delete both and replace it with MSE.

  • The questions creation software from hardware

A bit of history: it was my birthday recently, and I got a new case for my computer, which led to require a new motherboard. I reinstalled Windows 8, and he told me that my product key did not work and phone customer service with code Activation Wizard, which I did, and everything worked. I have downloaded and installed updates them, restarted my pc and it bluescreened with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and both of my screen became black and would not turn back. Restarting my pc showed the options to enter the BIOS and various things like that, but after that, it bluescreened and the screen went black again. By raising the issue, I saw that this meant that it updates was either not valid or damaged, and the solution was to get in a cmd and make them disappear. This made me lose everything on my hard drive. It was a lack of foresight on my part, do not back up my data, but is not the main issue. I booted from the DVD drive, reinstalled Windows yet ONCE entered my product key, and it was not valid. There is no Activation Wizard to provide me with the means to call Microsoft and explain the problem, so hopefully someone here can help me. I have, ideally, would like someone to tell me what to do and if possible, solve my problem. There is no way I'll buy another product key, because it was the fault of an update from Microsoft. I don't like about the loss of data, I limit myself to my fixed windows. Thank you for reading.

    Hey Tyler,

    Try the following steps:

    (a) slide into the right edge of the screen and then click on search.
(If you use a mouse, point to the upper right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then click Find.)

    (b) type SLUI 04 in the search box, and then tap or click SLUI 04.

    (c) follow the instructions on the screen.

You can try to get it again the phone activation process.

If the previous step is not enough, you need to get in touch with customer support Microsoft.

  • Screens of Windows Vista blue on each startup, alternating memory management and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I'll try to be complete, I'm quite technically competent in implementing network and equipment and have been working on this for over a week.

HP Pavilion under Vista SP2 desktop computer. 2x2gb sticks of RAM.
PC a friend, apparently blue screened during the connection of its new iPhone 5. As I said in the title, the blue screen seems to alternate between Memory_Management and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I can start in safe mode but impossible to activate the Windows service install. I installed SafeMSI and always impossible to uninstall anything. I installed Revo Uninstaller, uninstall of Windows/application still does not work, but I used it to remove iTunes, Apple Mobile Device Support, etc. Also, I can't use any network in safe mode even when the boot safe mode with networking so I can't check for solutions online. I did comprehensive RAM test-run Windows diagnostics, diagnostics of HP, MemTest86 or about (ran without error) 8, tried with each RAM stick only, tried with each in different locations, tried with two other sticks of 1 GB matched RAM, try with a different from 2 GB RAM stick, tried in all four memory locations.  I also ran ComboFix and MalwareBytes, Chkdsk, sfc /scannow...and probably others that I can't think of right now. I was going to just to reinstall Windows, but when you start the ISO that he allow me to upgrade, it will wipe the data. Same thing when running in safe mode. It blue screens a few seconds to load the office so I have no time to do anything normal start-up. Oh, I also did a start diagnosis "clean boot", etc. - blue screen every few seconds. When I boot mode safe, it works well with the obvious exception of services that I have to solve it. I also tried to boot to the last good configuration, try the Startup Repair and attempted a system restore, but event viewer informed me that all the restore points had been deleted for one reason or other. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you
    Chris

More than 80% of them were directly related to your Symantec and many others indirectly.  I would also like to delete AVG.

I would replace both with MSE.  BTW, you win most DMP files presented by a long shot (255).

Help me I have a user who continues the BSOD errors above: (.)  Windows 7 Professional, I have reset the bios of the user as one in November indicated that it was a problem with overclocking and through various driver updates.  When I started working here, she had one for his video card driver which I corrected.  Now she has started to have these, if my research is it's his Intel Wireless NIC

I also ran memtest86 and it found no errors at all.

  • Frequent BSOD and PC freezes - Windows 7

I have been faced with frequent BSOF and freezes for a few years now.  I reinstalled Windows 7 a couple of times. passed the ID of event several times. update BIOS and drivers hardware and program; and ran many tests, including hardware.   Windows and all programs are completely up to date.

There is no particular model the breaks down: for some time the BSOD's happened only rarely (once a week or less) and the PC froze more frequently. Lately, the BSOD is back, more recently, several times a day.  In general, it occurs in the morning, the PC works well until the user logs out and logs in after awhile. the problem is repeated then - this was the case for weeks when the PC froze (no BSOD).  Now that the BSOD is more common, it can occur sequentially several times and then not happen for some time.

I have read on this subject extensively and frequently performs WhoCrashed and WinDbg. I pulled out ready to be shared on SkyDrive MSInfo32 reports as well as the exported file.

I am a very experienced user who can easily set up and adjust a PC without any difficulty, but I'm not a computer expert and have little equipment and system of profound knowledge. In the various reports, I was see a variety of driver issues, which some I fixed already (video ATI, Symantec), yet the new come (today, it seems, HP printer drivers).  For the most part, the following modules are involved: ntfs.sys, ntoskrnl.exe and ntkrnlmp.exe (and an 'unknown' module, too) by all that there are which is the source of the problems.

    Details of PC are:

Name of the operating system Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
    Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
    System manufacturer Dell Inc.
    Model Studio XPS 9100 system
    System Type x 64-based PC
Processor Intel Core i7 CPU X 980 to 3.33 GHz, 3334 Mhz, 6 Lossnay, 12 or logical processors
    BIOS Version/Date Dell Computer Corporation A04, 10/21/2010
    SMBIOS Version 2.6
    Windows directory C:\Windows
    System directory C:\Windows\system32
    Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume1
    The local United States
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.1.7601.17514".
Physical memory (RAM) installed 12.0 GB
    12.0 GB total physical memory
    8.05 GB available physical memory
    43.2 GB total virtual memory
    40.0 GB available virtual memory

This is a pretty powerful machine, but there is no acceleration or other extreme material uses.  It is gently used and is in ideal desktop (running low time, under the supervision of Core Temp).

The programs are for the most part, the fair standard PC: MS Office 2010, Adobe CS5 Design, Norton Internet Security, EaseUS backup, software to print HP, iTunes, Roxio Easy CD, Firefox and more.  All are completely up to date.

I am including below the exit of WhoCrashed and is happy to share the rest of the information in the hope that someone can help me solve the problem.

    Thank you very much!

Bug control description: this bug check indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file cannot be read into memory.
The accident took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration is perhaps incorrect. Maybe this problem is caused by another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time.

    Conclusion
12 dumps were found and analysed. 3 third-party drivers have been identified to be the cause of breakdowns of the system on your computer. It is strongly recommended that you check the updates for these drivers on their corporate Web sites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates these drivers:

atikmpag.sys (AMD several Miniport Driver, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. vendors.)
symefa64.sys (Symantec Extended File attributes, Symantec Corporation)
    unknown_module_00000000'00000000.sys

[PLEASE NOTE: THE FIRST TWO, SUPRA, HAVE BEEN UPDATED AND REPORTED PROBLEMS HAVE NOT BEEN RETURNED SINCE.]

If no updates for these drivers is available, try searching with Google on the names of these drivers in combination errors that have been reported for these drivers and include the brand name and model of your computer as well in the query. This often gives interesting results of the discussions of the users who have similar problems.

Read the GENERAL WARNINGS for the failures of the system troubleshooting section for more information.

Note that it is not always possible to say with certainty whether a reported driver is in fact responsible for crash your system or cause is in another module. However, it is suggested that you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows Update or activate the automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of defective material is originally wrong, a Google search on the errors of control of bug with the name of the model and brand of your computer can help you to deepen this review.

JF, what you call (connection, has not detected and having to re - connect) sounds exactly like what is the cause. Software imaging and backup are a big problem with external drives that are constantly removed then reconnected because the backup program has trouble communicating with the device when this happens constantly, probably corruption occurs.

The only thing I can recommend is to remove all of your software backup and using outside on his own for a while. If you fall, you know it's the conflicted backup software once again and you have some shopping to do for a good backup software that will not cause problems.

-#2001--MS antimalware - failed to update signature

^^ This happens sometimes, you have to just manually force updates by the client.

-#11--disk - "the driver detected a controller on \Device\Harddisk3\DR11 error.

^^ Happens when you constantly connect and disconnect a device, even if it's to be ejected properly. Harddisk3\DR11 is probably your external.

-#2--kernel - EventTracing - "Session"Circular kernel context Logger"was able to start with the following error: 0xC0000035.

^^ It may be a few causes, see this thread on technet for troubleshooting.

-#41 (critical)-"the system has rebooted without stop properly first. "This error can be caused if the system unresponsive, crashed or unexpected power loss.

^^, This was caused by the system of freezing rather than close properly.

    Kind regards

  • Spectrum HP convertible x 360: blue spectrum HP x 360 13-4105dx MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD screen and gauge battery only "calculation".

I am Brazilian and acquired in the United States thanks to a friend, a spectrum of HP x 360 Convertible Notebooh - Win 10 - i7-6500u - 8 GB of RAM - 512 ssd

He constantly showed an error on blue screen of death BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) with the "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" error

However, other messages such as "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (Wdf01000.sys)" or "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" or "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE" are also presented at other times.

Sometimes, after much searching on the forums, I've seen a lot of people complaining that the video driver was the cause of the problem.

As I read on the forums, follow the instructions to update the BIOS to the latest version (F.35), then put to update the driver Intel(r) HD Graphics 520 to the latest version available on HP website (20.19.15.4360 from 21/12 / 2015).

The mistakes continued. I abandon me when I noticed something new, be the subject of an investigation. After a long comment, I realized that when the laptop is powered energy he not crushed and does not give problems, he gave when the battery.

When removing the power supply, after a short period, about 5 to 10 minutes, the mistakes began to appear, and then the question arises:

-It would be the parameter in battery power settings that could be the cause of the error (like setting up optimization, performance, etc) or is it really problem in the battery causing the error?
-Because the estimated Win10 battery life indicator has no estimate of consumption, keeping the status always "computation". This last fact strengthens the thesis that the problem is the battery.

Before ask you, I used the HP Suport Assistent to the battery test and he informs that the battery is standard, which goes against my thesis which is the problem of power or the power configuration in a device driver (probably the driver Intel(r) HD Graphics 520). I did tests of memory and the SSD and quite normal.

I decided to disable the battery driver in dispostivos Manager. Its name in dispostivos Manager is 'Control method battery Microsoft ACPI-Compatible'. To my surprise, Guess, the laptop did not, I'm still testing, but it doesn't seem that it was driver stack of conflict. The machine did not fall down, but bad disable the driver, it's that we lose track of how much time we have autonomy, but rather sacrifice the autonomy of the video driver (was palliative that he used to be able to work with the battery). Go figure... Wells is now to see if HP will solve this problem of incompatibility, because I found the potential conflict and now awaits the solution. Let's see what will give... all new review here.

  • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error when installing XP on 2805-S201

My son-in-law was given a Toshiba Satellite 2805-S201 Laptop, but it has been stripped of any operating system.

He bought a copy of XP Pro and try to install it on the laptop, but nothing helped.
He has the last BIOS Toshiba installed and uses a XP w / SP2 CD.

Here is the error that it continues, both until after the upgrade of the BIOS.

A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    (blah, blah, blah)

    STOP: 0X0000000A (0X000000FF, 0X0B001000, 0X808AB000, 0X00000001)

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Looks like a BSOD will appear during the installation of windows operating system.
This BSOD (blue screen of death) can occur for different reasons.
In most cases the hardware malfunction is responsible for this issue.

The fact that your Satellite 2805-S201 is an oldie would strengthen my hypothesis.

In your case I recommend first of all the memory modules and HARD drive.

    Good bye

  • Equium P300 is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL message

Please help, I have an Equium P300-16 t, now I went to turn on the laptop & was facing a blue screen goes all in curls just restart & end up with blue screens even when you click on repair windows you get a choice of repair windows or start windows normally, essentially portable custom in windows (but goes into safe mode) retains a loop , will start etc. Gets a blue screen, with the words, the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL & the following error codes.
    0x0000000A (0 x 0, 00000002 00000001, 0x0000004C, 0x81E0EEDE)

    0x0000000A (0 x 0, 00000002 00000001, 0x0000004C, 0x821C1EDE)

now when I run chkdsk I to force a disassembly of the drive, and then run chkdsk /r /f which I believe are the same, now, once it has verified, there now seems to be 4 KB in bad sectors, but there is also a message to the bottom say failure to transfer the messages saved in the event log?

Now back to the bad areas, normally chkdsk normally will be able to recover? now, my other 2 options are a cover of h/d, such that there is an option by pressing F8 or format, but the laptop came without disks so I have to use my purchased copy & just put in the code (is it allowed) but of coarse I would rather not do the last two & not as a last resort them I ran the test memory with the Vista recovery console, but came back with nothing, so I'm a bit stuck now.

So I was wondering if anyone has ideas or suggestions... Thank you...
    Abbi

At the moment it is not easy to tell if it s a hardware or driver problem
In your case, I would try to save all the files that you need a reinstall of Windows using the Toshiba Recovery disk or you use the HARD disk recovery. Go to the advanced boot menu, choose repair my computer and select the recovery Toshiba HDD feature. Follow the instructions on the screen.

If you get the BSOD, yet once you start to test the RAM and HARD drive. For the HARD disk, you can use the Drive Fitness Test and for the Memtest86 RAM. My experience with the test the RAM of Windows isn't very good, so I prefer Memtest86.

    Good luck!

  • Dv6-1020el: windows 10 dv6-1020el irql_not_less_or_equal

    Hello

    I've updated my laptop DV6-1020el of W7 to W10 (32 bit).

After updating I got often and randomly 0x00000a irql_not_less_or_equal error message.

The RAM is OK and no virus found.

She seems a driver issue, but how can I find what is the driver indicted?

    Thx a lot.

    KR

Unfortunately, there is no HP Win10 driver for your device. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.

You can try to use Windows updates to find the drivers from Microsoft deposits for your device: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139

If that does not do anything, you should read this another link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-6000-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5048664/model/5077076/document/c04758308/

If Windows Update doesn't give new drivers, you can pursue alternative which are described in the linked Microsoft Windows Insider community thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-to-install-and-update-drivers-in-windows-10/a97bbbd1-9973-4d66-9a5b-291300006293

If you then run into trouble, install the drivers through Windows Update, you can try to use of Microsoft Windows Update Troubleshooter: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/open-the-windows-update-troubleshooter

    Good luck
