When I try to load the software from the CD, it tells me that I must have administrator rights, tells me to connect off & on again.

When I do all this happens just with the absurdity even. How to overcome this obstacle annoying & useless?

(And yes I AM the ADMINISTRATOR)

    Hello

The Scanner is old enough, it was made in a preliminary manner release of Windows 7, and thus the CD is not designed for Windows 7.

Download and install the software Windows Visa and stable on your Windows 7 machine using Compatibility Mode.

First save the Vista software below on your computer:

Then install it using Compatibility Mode by following the instructions in the following article:

  • Problems with fax after loading software

I had my HP 4500 for awhile.  Never had any problems with the fax.  A few days ago I finally loaded the software that comes with it, and now my fax machine doesn't seem to be able to receive.  The rings of the machine about 5 or 6 times, it seems that this connection is, but whenever I get "failed"...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi suzduell,

Follow the steps outlined in the document below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01956630

  • Stop Auto loading software.

You had a program called Software Explorer, which would prevent programs such as aol to load on its own. You still have this program for download.

Software Explorer is allegedly part of Windows Defender.

IMO, Windows Defender is one of the lighter pieces, weakest and most powerless of the software, you can install on your system and appear to no longer be supported:

    • Windows Defender no longer supports Windows 2000 because it is out of standard support in June 2005. Please visit the support Web site of the lifecycle for more information.

If you need are looking for a Boot Manager help control your startup applications, you can find a lot of use something like Google to search:

    XP boot manager

Here are a few third-party applications popular that include a Boot Manager, and sometimes other things to keep your system nice and tidy:

    http://www.Piriform.com/CCleaner
    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902
    http://www.MLIN.NET/StartupCPL.shtml
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/strun.html

When people are complaining about their system performance or he take their system too long to start (mine take 22.06.021 seconds), I like to have them use CCleaner and they can save a copy of all their items from start-up to a text file and send it to me or post here, so I can look and see what startup items they can probably not without.  I'm all about performance!

For the most part, you just disable the startup items, reboot and see what things look like and then you can decide if you want to leave this option disabled, re-enable it or just remove it completely.

Note that XP includes the msconfig (start, run, msconfig, OK) application that is NOT a Boot Manager: this is a troubleshooting tool that is often abused as a Boot Manager.

  • failure of a loading software

Re B110a, after reloading of PC, I try to load the software for printer/scanner from the cd and get the error message "file not found". After downloading the new (several times) when selected, it retrieves to 100% then disappears. I deleted all temporary files and 'deleted' printer but same effect everytime I try to reload the software to use the scanner. The drivers seem to be all there for the printer that I can use it on wifi and usb. any ideas? (I stopped the firewall also)

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 9380 - battery drain after loading software updated BlackberryID

I have a Blackberry Curve 9380 with software v7.1 2931 Bundle (v7.1.0.1098) when you open the browser of th, I had "unhandled exception: the bridge has been destroyed." I loaded the latest (software BlackberryiD

net_rim_bbid_daemon v7.3.1.11) and this fixed the problem of browser, but battery now from 100% to 0% in about 4 hours. Previously a full charge lasts about 3 days.

Someone encountered this or can recommend a solution?

    Thank you

    CHRISALIS wrote:

CHRISALIS, try this first... with your 9380 connected to the wall charger and BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert it to restart. This will often reset the battery meter on the device (which over time can become out of sync with the actual load of the battery). You may need to try this over a few times the next day and the next.

Don't let not your battery to flow all the way to 0-10%, top it off during the day when you can, even for 15 minutes.

  • Error loading software for my second 8600 pro printer

I encountered an error when I tried to load the software for my second PRO 8600 printer disk. Apparently, I must first of all remove the first printer before I can install the second one. My laptop does not recognize the second printer to this place, as it is the serial number is different.

    Hello

As the software is already installed, you must configure the new device only...

First go to control panel > devices and printers, remove an existing instance of the 8600 and reboot your PC.

Then go to start > programs > HP > HP Officejet Pro 8600 and select Configuration & printer software.

Click on connect a new printer and follow the steps to configure the device.
