Microsoft Mobile Mouse soluble problem by exchanging the transceivers?

Hello

I have my third Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000.
The first two had one of their mouse buttons stopped working does not correctly one after more than two years, it is not perfect, but I can tolerate that, I really like this mouse otherwise.
Now, I ordered a replacement and it behaves strangely:
It seems to stop working from time to time for a short moment, the mouse cursor then moves as if my hand trembled and then returns to normal.
I checked the following until now:
-My Logitech Wireless mouse works very well (it's not my hand ;))
-The distance between the transmitter/receiver and mouse is short (less than a foot, I use it with my laptop)
-The batteries are charged, the led is off. No, not green
-The drivers are up-to-date
Operating system is Win7 64 bit.
I tried to find the mouse to work with my old Microsoft Mouses nano transceivers but no luck: the mouse cursor does not move.
I guess they work on frequencies of difference or something.
Is it possible the frequency as my last mouse is disturbed by something that is going on and outside?
Is it possible to change the frequency?
Is it possible to configure one of the old radios to work with the new mouse?
ID prefer it if I don't need to send back it.
Kind regards
Jens

(1) it is possible, but probably not in this case

(2) NO.

(3) NO.

I return it for a replacement.

  • Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 problems.

I'm using Windows vista 32-bit on a Dell Studio 15 laptop.  I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500.  I plugged the nano-receiver into my USB port and installed the driver but the mouse does not work.  It does not work if I move my mouse or click on the buttons.  I have bluetooth activated on my laptop but there is no button on the mouse or nano receiver to synchronize with the laptop.  I searched and searched the Internet to try to find an answer, but I don't see anything.  Can anyone help please?

A couple of things you can look at at\try:

    1. Since beginning--> search box type mouse, when the application Microsoft Mouse appears select.
    2. Select the Dell Touchpad tab, then click on the picture to open the properties of the Touchpad.
    3. In the properties of the Touchpad, choose Device Select.
    4. Check the box that says "Disable touchpad/ponting stick when external USB mouse is present".
    5. Press OK.

From my experience with Dell laptops, I have also found that sometimes an external USB mouse fails to be recognized because of some quirks with power and USB. Let the wired mouse, then turn off the laptop and unplug the battery for about two minutes. Turn on the machine again and see if the 'magical' mouse appears.

  • Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3500, scrolling problems

I bought a Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3500 target a few months ago and it works great so far. When I scroll it jumps a long distance and is not smooth. I tried to lower the speed of scrolling in the mouse settings, but it does not fix it. The only way I can break free, it is by downloading an app on the app store for Google Chrome (I don't know the name of the application). Help, please. Thanks in advance.

Unplug the receiver to the usb port.   Plug it in again.

I can only conclude this is a bug in the firmware/hardware and the receiver must be restarted.   It has nothing to do with the drivers because it happens with windows, osx and linux.

  • Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3000 does not

I have a relatively new Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3000 which has just stopped working. The mouse has functioned well for three months. I just changed the battery in the mouse. I plugged the transmitter into the USB port after starting my laptop. Normally, there is a green light that turns on the top of the transmitter. Now there is no light and I get an error message on the display, indicating that the USB device is not recognized and that the unit is defective.

    Help, please.

I have a MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 as indicated on the product and was only bought from Amazon less than a year ago, but I can't find it listed in the list of products supported, so cannot report a fault to Microsoft.

    # They are both two different and opposite manufacturers.

The K520 seems to use unique from Logitech Unifying receiver and Microsoft has their own receiver technology.
