  • HP Pavilion a6750f: problem dual monitor (Second monitor not detected in DVI input)

Hello everyone, I'm going to by a problem of not being able to setp toward the top of my second monitor.

I own a HP Pavilion a6750f with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 card on board running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system.  In the back, I have two VGA and DVI inputs, VGA works, but when I connect the other monitor which is connected to a DVI adapter on the back, Windows does not detect any.

I tried to go the DVI adapter to the other monitor and noticed that it refuses to work. I will note that my display drivers are all updated and I activated the option of customization to detect the second monitor, nothing shows up, it will not be the same acknolowdge that there are several screens.

I think it's weird that I don't see this problem being issued when I was searching for a resolution on google for hours now. If someone can help me here please I would be very happy.

Just to remind you try to connect a VGA (analog) monitor to a DVI - D (digital only) output on the computer. This is never going to work as analog and digital are two completely different incompatible signalling methods. With the help of an adapter DVI / VGA passive is the problem that these cards may work with DVI - I or DVI - A output... not DVI - D.

    Wikipedia - DVI;

"More digital, the DVI connector includes pins that carry an analog signal compatible with RGBHV signals in a VGA connector. This allows a VGA monitor be connected to a passive adapter and offers a universal solution for the DVI interface. The analog pins are the four that surround the apartment or cross the blade as shown on the right side of the diagrams below. »

    8 analog vertical sync

    C1 - analog Red
    C2 - analog Green
    C3 - blue analog
    C4 - analog horizontal sync
    C5 - analog ground

Note the absence of the pins on your computer and your so-called card C1, C2, C3 and C4. Without these pins is not just going to work. Still, there is no way to get an analog VGA monitor to work with your digital DVI - D only output using a so-called DVI - D to VGA. You may be able to buy an asset DVI - D to VGA Converter, but this will be expensive and cannot provide a poor video image quality.

As you said, the HP f1703 monitor supports only VGA. However, based on the specifications, your HP w2207h 22 inch LCD monitor supports the entry to a VGA and a HDMI input. HDMI and DVI - D share the same signage and using a HDMI-DVI cable or adapter HDMI-DVI and HDMI Cable will solve your problem. For two monitors running on your computer, please connect as follows:

Computer > HDMI-DVI cable or adapter HDMI-DVI and HDMI Cable > HP w2207h monitor

Computer > VGA cable > HP f1703 monitor

  • HP ENVY 5830 HDMI / DVI and external monitor not detected

I have a HP Envy 15 with the ATI 5830.  I want to connect an external monitor.  The outside is a Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD and has a DVI (also has HDMI, but poor quality when used from a PC). My laptop has only HDMI.  When I use a DVI - D HDMI converter / my laptop does not detect that there is an external monitor.  I've lived all my settings and updated the Bios and video drivers.  I'm missing something. Appreciate any help.

Hmmm... Looks as HDMI / DVI - D adapter for me, like the HDMI port problem works well insulated... I don't remember any problems, I've heard of HDMI to DVI - D and untimely on Envy 15...

  • Installed Windows 7 - Second monitor not detected

So I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate (x 64) and everything that happened very well, but my second monitor is not detected. I am running Windows Vista and it worked but since I updated it stopped working, I tried 3 different monitors and have failed to update my drivers.

    Hey Zei,

You need to update your video driver. In this case, you can contact your manufacturer to have updated.

    Thank you.

  • XP Mode in Windows 7 does not detect the ATI Radeon graphics card

Hi, on windows 7, xp (virtual), the system mode does not detect my graphics (ATI Radeon HD4530). This card is indispensable to run a business application (multimedia program). Can you please help me.

    Thank you, Christian.

    * original XP mode with title - __Windows 7 - (virtual) with ATI radeon HD4530__Christian.* graphics card

Windows XP mode provides a virtual hardware platform to run XP programs.  With the exception of some USB devices, it does not provide a direct access to the hardware on the host computer.

If you need to use your real graphics hardware in XP you will probably have to put in place a system to dual-boot and boot XP when necessary.

  • Then monitor not detected on win - 7, but works on Vista

Background: Dell Vostro 1500 pc.  Acer HD 2nd monitor.

I am trying to add Windows 7 Home Premium to another disk partition (d :)).  Now, I have win 7 and Vista dual bootable.  My second monitor, connected via a port SVC (?) 9-pin, is detected and works well on Vista, but Windows 7 does not detect.  I tried both the and-> screen resolution detect methods.  What is my next step?

    Thank you

The fix for the problem proved to be to download the latest driver for my NVIDIA graphics card.

  • Second monitor not detected Windows 8

    Hi all

The title pretty much everything said. Windows 8, two monitors to flat screen of ACER, HP pc, worked fine. I went to the control panel and although both monitors are on and work the 2nd is not detected. By clicking on "detect" a small window shows "another view undetected."
The display on the second monitor as I said is on, but the mouse pointer does not move on the 2nd monitor and my desktop icons that were there is now on my 1st monitor. I tried to update the software for graphics card and monitor software as well, both are up to date.
I tried to contact Microsoft Support, but I guess that there was a problem of mass with the update because I can't seem to online or over the phone.
I tried to restore the computer to its last restore point, but that did not help.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Thank you very much

Original title: update 2nd monitor is not recognized after the last windows of nights.

    CORRECTION *.

Reinstall the drivers worked. I didn't know what I had to do was desempilement monitors and place them side by side in the Panel. (Right-click on the display, the screen resolution, drag a monitor so that it is next to each other instead of one on top of the other)
There is just a nut loose on the keyboard here. (ME)
    Thanks for your help.

  • Second monitor not detected via the dvi - d port

Hi I have a Hp slimline s5610y. Windows 7 64-bit. It is a new system with 3 ghz ram and more than 600 gaeremynck ram so I know that this is not a problem of performance, (duty handling system), I am looking to hook up two monitors, product sheet page on H.P. States that ports Vga and Dvi d may be used at the same time. I have the converter dvi-d/VGA, hooked to a monitor via the Vga port on a single computer (which doesn't work). The Vga port to vga works fine (the first monitor. I already check the easy as stuf "carrier dual monitor", unplug the monitor, update the latest driver for radeon 3000 and restart windows. I hooked two monitors before without any problem. Any ideas out there?

    Thank you

    Manny

    Hi again,

If it is a dvi - d, you need a computer screens which have dvi - d.
A graphics card with a dvi - i port also supports vga monitors.

OK - page of your product (return i/o ports):
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02552467

It is a true dvi - d - then Yes, you need a digital monitor with a dvi - d port.

  • Second monitor is not detected after upgrade to Windows 10

After you have installed Windows 10 upgrade Windows 7, my second monitor is no longer functional. The computer is an HP Touch Smart 610-1065qd. I connect on the second monitor through a USB 2.0 Port Replicator 2005pr HP. The Replicator appears as a drive when you look at this PC and an arbitrator in him like HP USB DOCK, as it did in Windows 7. The Replicator seems to work, I can't access the SSD on the device and use a wireless mouse. The receiver is connected to the port replicator. The second monitor, also connected to the Replicator, as it was before the upgrade. Now the system is unable to detect this monitor. The MANAGER of peripheral DEVICES, MONITORS, indicates there is a monitor Active, listed as "PnP monitor" generic Device Manager displays a second monitor as a hidden device. Identified as a "generic PnP monitor' and the State of the device is"currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) ». In Windows 7, I don't remember the second monitor listing. USB and the DISPLAY NETWORK DEVICES, the entry is USB PORTS port REPLICATOR 2.0 HP 2005pr. Under GRAPHICS cards, there are two lists. The first is an adapter named "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5570". This corresponds to my video card. The second adapter named "glance speed Boost. I believe that Ancestry.com can installed this. "This device is working properly" is the condition for both cards. I manually checked new drivers for all components. There is no effect. Then, I went to HP and downloaded the most recent Setup to monitor. I then tried to load the drivers and monitoring software. I also loaded the screen in compatibility mode, then in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3, then compatibility for Windows 7 and finely mode as a regulator. As a result, I tried the same process with the original disc. After each test, I rebooted the system. Still unable to detect the second monitor, nothing in Device Manager and unable to detect a new monitor on screen. I attempt to change the Projection. He also, had no effect on the display. Then, I deleted graphics cards. First of all, the adapter "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5570", which corresponds to my video card. Second, the "Speed Boost glance. This also, don't give not any what on second monitor display. Even if it is visible only when show it hidden devices is checked. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I finely found a fix for the problem to my question; Second monitor, not detected after upgrade to Windows 10. Not the one I was hoping. It turns out that the fault was with the HP 2005pr USB 2.0 Port Replicator. It seems that the driver may be at fault. After more than a month of waiting, I decided to replace the duplicator. I decided to buy a Port adapter to replace the duplicator. What is much less expensive experiment and see if it was infecting the duplicator. It turned out that my second monitor is back and healthy. I decided to continue to use the port adapter and buy a USB Hub to replace this part of the duplicator. I no longer use the HD Audio output, after replacing the old speakers with Bose USB speakers some time ago. I thank everyone for help.

  • Windows 7 does not detect my external monitor. Why? How should I do?

Good, some basic information. The laptop at the origin of the problem is an HP laptop.  In other circumstances, I wouldn't care on this issue. But the screens on both of my computers cell phones don't work (they are Sun and incredibly difficult to see, barely visible) and I use an external monitor so for use.

    In other words, I used.

I have Windows 7 for one of my laptops, and it is already fully charged. But, I tried to connect my external monitor, it did not work. I tried to use the projection screen, pressing [FN + F4]and pressing on [FN +] other F keys, as well. Of course, I thought it was weird. So I looked for answers on the internet (on my other laptop), nothing works. Most only have problems with the monitor not working not properly; mine is not detected at all. I went to the display settings (have to squint shine with a light and bend my laptop screen in different directions), and it showed only 1 screen, the main screen. I tried to restart, stop, unplug the monitor and in him plugging back and turning the cable around. I know that the problem is not the cable, as I use it right now.

I also tried updating the drivers, but for one reason, the laptop now refuses to connect to the internet as well. So, now, I have a laptop completely useless with a black screen, and I can't put my files on it because of this black screen. Not that I'd be able to use it for something else, anyway.

  • MacBook Pro does not detect monitor Dell through CDM

Guys, a few weeks ago I asked a question if bolt of lightning 2 CDM-compatible monitors. You guys lied. I got the Dell P2715Q today and I have connected to the computer with the USB cable I had Plug and cable thunderbolt. I did everything, but my Mac has not detected even if I pressed the "Detect" button in the system preferably several times. I restarted my computer and still nothing happens. The monitor speaks to me of * like 'Enter in Safe Mode' then what I do now? What the * Apple? You create all by yourself? Your useless thunderbolt screen is worse than the air show 2011 MB! Help guys!

What USB connection?  There is no "monitor" for this Dell Monitor USB connection.  The USB connection is a USB hub built into the monitor for other devices.  You must select one of the following values: DP, HDMI or mini-DP.

I'm sitting on my right now uses a new MacBook Pro computer w/Retina.  It is connected via the Thunderbolt port to a Dell U2715H using the connection of the RFP at the back.  No problem at all.  I used this type of connection for the most recent years (previously an old MacBook Pro, 2011 model).

    Hey Rajamodol, Nicola.

I'm sorry, but this is a limitation of the distant targets in XNET bus monitor. See the following Knowledge Base article:

Why can I not see my NOR-XNET CAN interface on my remote target in Bus monitor? -National Instruments
    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/92F10284E8061FB68625793600484D79?OpenDocument

The article also mentions an alternative, where you use an example VI for a similar feature.

  • T400 and Advanced Mini Dock - does not detect DVI monitor

I have a T400 with integrated graphics and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and I recently bought an Advanced Mini Dock for it.  I have a Dell 1800FP monitor connected to the dock via the DVI output.  When I anchor the T400, the system does not detect the external monitor.  If I go to the resolution of the screen and click on detect, it does not appear.  The weird part is that if I reboot then than in the dock, when the system comes back he * is * detect and use the external monitor.

Any ideas what's happening?  Other equipment connected by the base (USB, Ethernet cable devices) all work very well.

I think I solved this problem.  I uninstalled my video driver and installed the latest version from the Lenovo Web site (which was more recent than the one found by Lenovo System Update).  Now my system properly detects the external monitor when I attach to the docking station.

  • DisplayPort to DVI - D X 201 Tablet/Windows 8 64-bit - external monitor has not detected

    Hello

Until a few days ago, I ran the evaluation of Windows 8 with little fuz copy on my X 201 Tablet with the X 200 ban.

    I have a DELL 3007WFP with DVI - D only.

I connect it to the X 200 ban using an active Displayport to DVI - D adapter of BizLink and such that mentioned, it has worked very well.

The I ran a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and upgraded to Windows 8.

Before that, I updated the BIOS to 1.4.0 (who said that Lenovo is ready for Windows 8)

Now I get "Another deisplay not detected" when I go to the configuration of the resolution of screens.

I've tried hundreds of different approaches (new drivers, old drivers, windows 7 drivers, drivers own intels)

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

For some reason any magic, the monitor is broken on today.

I have absolutely no explanation as to why!

What I've done since my post? :

    I went into a store and my X 201 to X 200 ban.

At the store they have enough to unpack a DP to DVI adabter and test if my setup would work with another adabter, and he did it right away.

Accordingly, I have concluded that my own adabter was broken. (I even ordered a new).

Adabter at the store was an edition of small budget that would not allow me to hit the resolution 2560 x 1600, if necessary.

I bought a DP to HDMI adabter, I tested as soon as I got home. The HDMI worked perfectly immediately (also low resolution @1920 x 1080)

Today, I took off and entered into tablet mode, for some off GPS test. When I got home, I return the screen back to normal and placed the 201 X in the dock, and it was there, WFP 3007 DELL illuminated like a Christmas tree

    Go figure...

BTW. I also installed the drivers for my Epson WF-7525 today.

I tried the last combination of connection/disconnection/drivers etc with no luck, then today out of the blue - it works.
