mount cartridge 56 5150

Machine friend.  "creep" of the cartridge in or out simply does not work as described in the manual. Managed to get out the cartridge, but no way I can go back. A railway along the top bar is too low to allow access to the cartridge. The plastic along the lower front part of the cartridge Bay is too high to allow the scope before the body of the cell - the bit with the circuit on the bottom - sliding in or the upper body to negotiate the plastics on the 'carrier' perhaps not well explained, but am I missing something? Afraid to use force in case of breakage.

The plastic in the front of the cartridge when it is in the service area must move downwards and out of the way when the cover is opened.  If this is not the document here can help solve the problem.

  • HP Deskjet 5150 driver Windows 7

I have the HP Deskjet 5150 printer. I did a fresh install of Windows 7 32 bit and I noticed that even if I didn't install the driver included with the CD for the printer (which I doubt would work on Windows 7 in any case), it seems that Windows 7 is already installed a driver for me. However, it feels extremely slowly for the pages of color/gray scale, it takes about 5 + minutes to print a single page. If it is a black and white text document, then it is fine.

Is there any solution for this? Does anyone else have this problem? HP will produce a Windows 7 driver?

The symptom you describe can be caused by a failed color cartridge.  Try to remove the color cartridge and printing of the page.  The printer automatically goes offline backup to print.  If it prints at a normal speed (in grayscale... of course) your color cartridge is the question.  Clean the contacts as shown here can solve the problem, if not you will need to replace the cartridge.

It's one that comes with Windows 7 provided by HP HP did produce a Windows 7 driver.  According to this page there are no drivers provided through HP.COM.

  • More than 1 XL ink cartridge?

I have an Officejet Pro L7555. I just replaced the black ink cartridge 88 with a one XL. I also discovered by reading another thread that the printer uses a small amount of yellow ink to print black documents and which is why I am running out of yellow ink so quickly. As annoying as this, it is better than when the three colors were in a cartridge and you need to replace all this when only the yellow was missing. Does anyone know if the machine can contain more than one XL cartridge? There is certainly a more large space for black, but does not seem to be enough space for a yellow XL cartridge also.

I did a little research. Color XL cartridges mount in the same space than regular cartridges as they hold less ink than ordinary black cartridges. Here's capabilities:

    Black regular: 20.5 ml

    XL Black: 58.9 ml

    Regular colour: 9,0 ml

    Color XL: 17.1 ml

  • Cannot print in black and white when the yellow ink cartridge is low on ink

Someone please tell me that the guy I talked to customer service is a fool and there is a way to print black and white, once your color cartridge runs out of ink.

If this isn't the case, it's the cheapest clamp, all the money that I've ever heard of.  Someone please tell me they did sink that low.

Printers that have individual ink cartridges (separate magenta, yellow and cyan) must have all the colors, mounted so as to ensure that the printhead to dry out and is not damaged. Some printers who have integrated print heads (that just take the 2 black and tricolor cartridges) have the ability to print in what is known as a reserve mode. That is where we remove the empty cartridge and is able to print a test page to determine if the printer can operate in reserve mode until a replacement can be purchased. The reason for the cartridges to install, is that the printer uses ink for other purposes in addition to printing. It is also used to maintain the printer. Here is a link to learn more about this topic. He will also discuss the topic of the reserve mode as well.

  • Incompatible cartridge (HP Photosmart C4480)

I don't have the luxury of wasting my time here, I'm supposed to write an article for an academic journal, but let's do it anyway. because I'm pretty annoyed for this give actually the few minutes that I let myself before another staff meeting.

A week ago, my printer (HP Photosmart C4480, almost a year now) began to give me the message that my cartridge is incompatible. The cartridge has been about a month or two old that I think, and I printed with her until he was about ¾ of his initial resistance. I followed all the steps troubleshooting gave me; reset, cleaning, I even had my old cartridge rest to see if this one has worked and that he could solve the problem (it worked, one that came with the printer, but it does not solve the problem). Apart from the replacement of the cartridge or get a new printer, it is not a way to solve this problem.

But get a new cartridge doesn't just prolong the problem without actually solving. Now, it has become more obvious to me that there is a general problem of HP printer with error message "incompatible cartridge". This forum alone shows many examples unresolved for anyone who cares to look for them for a few seconds. The result is that people simply buy or request for new cartridges, and then, either immediately or after a certain while, the error recurs.

It was an a little more vital product, like say a car, it must be recalled. If you take a look at the Amazon comments, they have been regularly in downhill, becoming more and more negative, the way a few months ago. I don't know if it's a software thing you guys has changed, or if your hardware or cartridges are doomed to failure. Maybe you send a bad batch of cartridges, but that would not explain why recurring popular printers fail with the same message.

I am currently waiting for a response to a request for assistance. As I shine since other posts about this problem, you can not give a) an explanation of this debacle, b) a solution that does not involve the purchase of new cartridges to replace a cartridge that was perfectly fine before mounting them in your cartridge deathtraps. If there is anything that can be done does not mean to ignore the problem, spending more money on more product failure, but actually goes one way to solve the problem, I have he would hear gladly.

OK laddie and gentlemen listen hear is how to fix this error message "incompatible cartridge" boring.
Step 1: turn off your printer
    Step2:turn on your printer
Step3:hold to the bottom of the button works / stop and the 'x' button - you will receive a message prompting you to "enter special key combination.
    Step 4interested "blue-> green-> ORDER BECAUSE gray!
Step 5NCE "support rhLxFN0810CR" message is displayed 'blue' push the button once until appears the menu information
Step 6interested 'ok' now using 'blue' new button scroll until you see "checksum for repo I input data ' appears
STEP7interested ok and a code number will be displayed (note code will change each time this spice is used)
Step8nce code appears press 'x' 3times to return to the main display screen. You are now ready to print as usual! if the print head is allowed to return before next print this process should be repeated every time print head reset

  • Office Pro 8000: Cannot Print/Out of ink error even after installing new cartridge.

When I tried to use my printer a few days ago, I received an error message "can't Print Can: ink" on the magenta cartridge.  I had used the printer a few days before and had not received a low ink warning.  It seemed suspicious to me that I would have received an empty cartridge error message without having previously received a low cartridge warning.  The cartridges yellow and cyan read 70% complete - all 3 were original cartridges.

I bought a new cartridge 940XL magenta and installed according to the instructions.  Now, I get a message that the new 940XL cartridge is empty.  I can shake the old cartridge 940 and hear liquid inside.  Obviously, the new cartridge is also complete.  I tried to electric bike, reinstall the software, etc., without change of status.  If I swap back between the 940 old and new cartridge 940XL, they are correctly identified by type on my screen as the 940 or 940XL.  Because of the way the problem is presented, I don't think it is a cartridge problem.

Of course, problem first awaken on May 8, and my warranty expired on 26 April.  Any suggestions?

I solved my problem, what was obviously a lack of factory Assembly.  I looked inside my printer with a flashlight in the area where the ink cartridges are installed and found sprayed inside the printer magenta ink.  I disassembled the printer and found that the magenta line had been damaged during installation.  There are four tubes of ink that out by behind the ink cartridges, can do a U turn back toward the front of the printer.  Just after the bend, they do an another elbow top neighborhoods.  It is at this point that I found the damaged magenta line, directly above a screw on the right side of the housing of the ink cartridge.  The lines are in a very narrow passage and are held in place by several guards, moulded plastic.  It seems that the lines have been in place in the guardians, then the screws inserted from the top.  As I said, there is a tight passage, and it would be very easy to damage the line of ink right here if the lines have not been carefully selected to insert the screws when mounting.

To solve the problem, I removed about 1/4 inch line damaged magenta ink.  I cut the line with a sharp razor, carefully to avoid collapsing the line or causing burrs to the hose.  I then placed approximately 3/4 "heat self-sealing tube on one end of the line of ink heat shrink.  Then I connected to the line with a small piece of plastic tube rigid of the handle with a swab of cotton, which was a perfect fit and comfortable on the line of ink.  Making sure not to cut the tube of ink or cause other damage, gently twisted the line of ink back until the ends have butted up inside the splice of cotton swab.  I then positioned the shrink tube over splice and it shrunk with a hair dryer.  Heat shrink tube, I used a hot melt glue applied to the Interior, which has helped more away making a watertight splice.  Again, it is not a lot of space, so the splice should remain small.

I reassembled the printer, reinstalled ink cartridges and powered by the printer.  After the normal, long time running, I printed full color sheets and everything was fine.  Already that I had installed the cartridge magenta watch now that it is complete, and the remaining cartridges also read the levels they had before disassembly.

  • CP1700 - fault - attn: replace all four cartridges!

    Hello world

My printer has served me VERY well for years. I have original cartridges (all the use by date), and all test ok print heads

The printer just reported all four cartridges need to be replaced

Clearly, something else has all broken, or obtained the dough...

The clues of what I might try?

    THANKS in advance

    Kevin

    FIXED

I suspect that the battery is down below the fully functional voltage - its an old printer!

DIFFICULTY = completely remove the internal battery of the watch-like (large)

For photos of similar printer/battery: http://www.land.netonecom.net/tlp/ref/letters/hpPrinters.php

Here's what to do to remove the battery

Lift the cover, look on the left side (side opposite to the print head and cartridge areas), it is just visible towards the rear. I could not quite put to work (safely) so decided to go back, as follows:

Battery REMOVAL PROCEDURE = from the back of the printer remove the rear feeder by pressing the two big buttons and lifting of the body of the printer. Then remove the dark grey cover on the right (where all cable connectors crossed) by removing the two screws Torx of T-20, one on top and the other under the magazine platform, that you just removed. Drag the grey cover will cost about an inch and then it goes out completely. Under this cover, you will see a vertically mounted metal plate that has three screws Torx T10 you will need to remove. Once you did, wriggle and tip that plate (slightly) outside (be careful not to dislodge cables or connectors), just enough to see the battery. With a small screwdriver, taken the battery under his arm. THROW IT OUT. Look like upside down!

My printer is now fully functional again - although currently, he grunts more than it used too - I think I dislodged some dirt/dust - anyway, it looks like it will continue to serve me well for a little longer

    I hope this helps someone

  • C4180 all in questions a printer cartridge

I just tried to mount the photo ink jet cartridge specially bought from HP, so I can begin to print my own photos.

I have normally 1 x black and 1 x colour - that will work perfectly.

The only place where the new Inkjet Photo will fit is in the right section, but it only prints black and white-it is does not fit in the left at all and the printer telling me must be in the left hand, but does not correspond to...

I tried to keep in the ink jet color normal on the left + the new photo on the right, but it was a right mess

any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi dunworking,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see by your post that fits the photo cartridge to replace the black cartridge but it will print in black and white. I can help you with that.

What is the number of cartridge, you have for the color photo cartridge?

Make sure that it does not show 100 gray Photo cartridge.

Color and black cartridges should be 92 and 93.

The Photo cartridge should be 99.

The gray Photo cartridge should be 100.

This information is provided by the manual on page 17.

    HP Photosmart C4100 all-in-one series.

The slot for the print cartridge print cartridge three colors is on the left side.

The slot of print cartridge for the black print cartridges and photo are on the right side.

If there is anything else I can help you with just let me know.

    Good day.
    Thank you.

  • HP deskjet 5150 does only print one line at a time

My deskjet 5150 worked very well until another paper went through and stuck.  I was able to pull the tail of the outside before he completely crossed, thus eliminating the document.  After that, the printer went from normal to print to print one line at a time, with long breaks between the two, such that a journal would take several minutes to print.

It happened before, and it seems that one of the many random things that I try finally works (striking out the cartridges, etc.), or he decides to forms and works correctly at some point anyway.  I don't know what is the actual active ingredient.  However, it has recovered from such behaviour several times before.

I should mention that this malfunction/recovery routine began and most recently occurred when connected to my old iBook G4 Mac computer.  I have just this week has changed to a MacBook Pro, the latest operating system running, and the printer is not different.  It prints one line at a time.

I don't know when this has happened to the other HP printers that I had in the past, I just put away, not realizing that they still had plenty of life in them left.  This one, I have "revived" several times already.  But how, I'm not sure!

    You have any ideas?

    Hi there chitownchic,

I suggest paper paper jam for the troubleshooting steps that are recommended for the jamming problem you had. Generally a very good cleaning of the rollers will help a little, and also a power reset.

"Paper jam" Error Message on the computer

    I hope that helps!

Have a great day, thanks for posting in the community

  • Installed hp deskjet 5150 printer running on new dell hp deskjet 5100 shows and as the installed printer

    HP deskjet 5150 printer

    Windows 7 Home Premium - 64-bit

Info computer printer shows NO 5150 hp deskjet 5100 installed,

No change - computer was new

I installed my printer hp deskjet 5150, following the signs to a new Dell computer.

Windows 7 automatically installed the driver from the usb cord was plugged to the computer (it was connected first to the printer).

Tested the printer by typing a few lines in a Word document, and the printed page.

However, I noticed that the Dell info on printer shows printer installed is hp deskjet 5100, 5150 not.

Also, I don't get the screen indicating the ink remaining in the cartridge when I print a page.

I get a message when the cartridge is low or it prints everything, just not when the cartridge is empty:

Is the print driver for the hp deskjet printer 5100 the same as for the deskjet 5150 printer?

I don't want to buy another printer because of the expense.

    Thanks in advance.

    Ouaenre

The driver is the driver for Deskjet 5100 series which includes the Deskjet 5150.  If you wish you can change the name - go to start devices and printers, click with the right button on the properties of printer deskjet 5100, and then type a new name in the text box, OK.

There is not a Toolbox in the Windows 7 drivers, the paper here is workarounds.

  • Head alignment on Windows 7 for my HP Deskjet 5150

I tried the web and this forum so well there is no solution to this dilemma. I can't print with my HP Deskjet 5150 now because the heads are misaligned and I changed the cartridges recently twice. Replace the cartridge is therefore not an option. I have some other work arrounds to put my printer to another PC that has windows XP and align the heads here but it's just TOO as much as always, I have this facility.

    THEN

Now I need help from people who have experience and knowledge, please can you guys and girls to help out me in this? I would like assistance or guidance.

    Thanking all in advance

    Hi ANM

If you press and hold the power button then press the button 3 times and release the power button will print a calibration page. I hope this will solve your problem. If you need clean the cartridges, you can do a similar operation: press and hold the power button, press the button cancel, press the button 1 time 2 times and then release the power button.

I have a HP Photosmart more and I'll have the time the harder the 564 black ink cartridge installation. It it not a cartridge 564xl. I am really considering to resume this printer and turning it.

    Hello

What seems to be the issue. His are more in there or something like that? If so, check the icon on top of the cartridge, it should be a Hexagon, if you want to mount a "bow tie" it does not, since it is a photocartridge that is not supported by your printer.

Had no problem Bootcamp before... have not used to any advantage either 3rd disk utility. The only thing I have recently increased the Windows size 200 GB partition by decreasing the MacOS partition through disk utility (a month ago, no problem since then until today)

    1. Windows has disappeared from the startup disk

    2. disk utility shows disk0s4 gray and cannot be mounted. In addition, the correct partition size was 700 but here its listed as 500 GB GB (which was the old size before you increase it)

3 when I try to restart with pressed ALT, Windows, but cannot restart, with a black screen showing "a disk error occurred.

I'm not very familiar with techniques more. Only, I tried to install "Find" but cannot achieve anything with it.

    Hi vishesh97,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

We understand your question that you have a new external hard drive, a backup Slim Seagate, which does not appear when you connect to your MacBook Pro.

Allows because it is a new hard drive, try to clear the disc first and formatting for Mac OS extended (journaled). The instructions for this process are found in the article below:

For Mac disk utility: delete a volume using disk utility
