My computer freezes when I start reading CrossFire!

Dear Sir/Madam
Can you please recommend an anti freeze program or tell me what to do to stop my game freeze?
Yours sincerely

Hi ZakB

The game may freeze because you might be running out of disk space hard od or RAM installed on your computer is not enough to play the game. Try to increase the RAM of your computer.

You can use the new feature in Windows Vista "ReadyBoost" to improve the performance of your computer, which therefore will allow you to play the game without freezing.

For online games, you can try to install the latest version of the flash player
http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

==========================================================================================================================

Windows ReadyBoost can use storage space on some devices of removable media, such as USB flash drives, speed up your computer. When you insert a device with this capability, the AutoPlay dialog box will offer you the option to speed up your system using Windows ReadyBoost. If you select this option, you can then choose how much memory to use for this purpose. However, there are some situations where you will not be able to use all of the memory on your storage device to speed up your computer.

Some bus universal series (USB) storage devices contain both slow and fast flash memory, and Windows can only use fast flash memory to speed up your computer. So if your device contains slow and fast memory, remember that you can only use the fast memory portion for this purpose.

The amount of memory to use for ReadyBoost acceleration recommended is one to three times the amount of RAM (RAM) installed on your computer. For example, if your computer has 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM and you plug in a 4 gigabyte (GB) USB flash drive, setting aside from 512 MB to 1.5 GB of that drive will offer the best performance gain.

  • Computer freezes when I connect the "rocket" sanza

I recently bought a modernised 8 GB Saza Fuze sellout.woot.com.  When I plug it into my laptop that is running Windows Xp with sp3 the entire computer freezes.  When I unplug the laptop computer UN is "rocket" freezes.  So I tried to change auto to DPW, always the same result.  Then I tried MSC and that no longer works.  I then tried a desktop computer running Windows XP with SP3 and this computer has frozen too with all the settings and unlock when you unplugged.  Then I tried a third computer running windows Vista and the computer did not freeze but the computer does not see the mp3 player.  I tried all automobiles, MTP and MSC, and none of them worked on the vista computer.  During all tests when I plugged the mp3 player he sat there and load. He makes no attempt to connect to computers at all.

  • Computer BSOD when I start: Driver Power State failure

Well... This usually happens to me when I start my computer for the first time, every day. I am a user of the current computer and it didn't happen too often so far. I usually start my computer after I go home what I do and at first start, it BSOD. It is not sudden. It takes about 10 minutes or more. One thing I notice when it starts in the icon menu, it comes up with a message: this device can preform faster if you connect it to a USB 3.0 Superspeed. As I said, this happens when I start it for the first time, every day. I have restart normally, and it works brilliantly. I figure it's a driver get irritated by something.

I would like to no play and much talking with friends. He gets the fan turns the computer gets hot, then he moved when the game closes. I don't think that something like that maybe overheats a driver, but I could be wrong. I have an original laptop and it's very nice. Backlit keyboard, map nice graphics, good memory and 16 gigs or RAM. It works on Windows 7 and I have several installed applications.

I checked the blue screen Viewer and the driver that is problematic and highlighted in red is ntoskrnl.exe. Is the address of the stack: ntoskrnl.exe + 1040 b. I don't know what it actually means, or how to solve this problem, so I was wondering what actions I need to take the next.

    @Niqo14,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  So that I can help you with your problem of gel have you installed as an upgrade, or you created the stand alone dvd to perform a clean installation.

If you did upgrade anything you want to do is run the stand-alone installation of windows 10.

So, you can run the windows update first convenience store to see if this solves the problem.

Here is a link to help you with that.

  • How to upgrade to Windows 7 and the computer freezes when I go to print

original title: several questions in fact

    I have 2 questions

    (1) my son bought a Sony NS Series Notebook for me. It came with a promise that I could upgrade to Windows 7. He tried to update several times and it didn't work. I know little about computers and so I accepted his answer that the Vista operating system is also good. Now I feel all sorts of problems and I told me time and again that it would be better to have windows 7. Any who tried to get the manufacturer to update after the date specified in them?

    (2) my son helped connect me to 2 different printers depending on what I need to print. Now, the computer crashes when I go to print. Any advice?

    Thank you in advance.
    Krystyna

    (1) depending on your laptop model and the day when you pruchase, you might be able to take advantage of Windows 7 update, for more information I suggest the Sony site for Windows 7 upgrade:

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/os7upgrade.pl

Or you can contact the Sony customer for more details

    (2) for printer, the issue can be due to configuration or other reasons, I suggest to update your Windows and make sure printer drivers installed and also try to run:

  • My computer freezes when I turn off the printer. HP D7360, Windows Desktop.Photosmart 7

When I turn my printer off the computer crashes.  HP desktop computer.  Windows 7.  Photosmart D7360.

    I reinstalled the drivers.

Have you tried a different usb cable? It could be that the usb cable is grounded on which could be a short circuit in the usb cable, or the printer port. Although it is also possible that this is the USB controller on the motherboard of your computer to try another cable is fixed not try with another computer if possible. If the other computer does not have any problems, then it's HP desktop computer. When you do that, you are out of my field of expertise friend . (In other words, if this does not work, try your luck on the forums of office or by calling the 1-800-474-6836)

    I hope this helps!

  • Computer crashes when you start Borderlands 2

I recently bought Borderlands 2, and when I get to the start screen and press play the screen goes black as if it were loading the game and then freezes for 10-15 seconds, then it automatically restarts my computer, I read around the search for a solution, and some people say it could be my bios, but I don't know how to download the latest version of the bios I would help because apparently it could harm my computer if I'm doing it wrong.
    I use a computer Hp Pavilian h8-1210

Nevermind, I updated my bios and it fixed it

  • My Sansa e260 seems to freeze when I start. Help, please?

    Hello

For the last two days, my Sansa e260 refused to start completely. It starts, goes to the black screen that sansa logo and then freezes. I took out the battery and turned it works a couple of times. I even let the batteries run out and reload it later to see if that would help. (he didn't)

I really don't want to have to buy a new mp3 player. If anyone can help... Thank you. : )

You may have a bad file that confuses the firmware as it tries to start.

Can connect you to your computer? (Preferably in MSC mode.)

Try to run the error as explained in this FAQ checking.

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=announcements&message.ID=147&jump=true#M147

If this does not work, you will have to Format and delete all of your files. (If you can connect, make copies first - but when you reload, reload only a little at a time if you don't put a bad once again.)

If you can establish a connection to MSC, right click on the drive of the unit (X (any letter): Sansa E200) and choose the Format to FAT32.

    Or use the sansa.fmt here:

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&thread.ID=913

  • Computer freezes when moving files, making records etc...

Recently, he began... I had business with him for about 2 weeks. It got progressively worse. Whenever I try to delete something, go to something like a file in a folder, or even extract winrar process crashes. (As if im move a file in a folder of the mobile window comes up and it just stays there and doesn't go away. I always have crtl + alt delete try it so he could disappear.) I'm not sure if it's a windows problem or the problem of products... but it my computer acted first to the top when I uninstalled 3 elements using uninstall utility. I don't remember deleting anything matching as an update of windows etc... But I deleted like 3 articles that I didn't need. My internet browsers starting first Act, google crome wouldn't be able to remain open for more information, then 3mit without crashing, it wouldn't save all bookmarks either. I now use internet explore, because google will not work (I have firefox but it is incredibly slow, it began to be slow at about the same time that google was falling apart). Then as a day after google crome was unusable such basic operations that move a file, extract the content of an archive and rename a folder became impossible to do, if I renamed it a folder would freeze my office, I have to Ctrl + alt delete, end process to explore, would begin again to my office be usable again. So I tried a system restore and as I expected it failed... so... I ' v has had problems with this computer in the past, but I have no idea what's not this time. I thought of making a complete reinstallation of windows, but I need my computer to last December, which is when I intend to buy a new computer and I don't want to lose my stuff when December is the corner of the street.

    ·         You get the error message?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • KB2656353 security update has been downloaded every time that I have stop my computer and when I start upward again in recent days.

This download is there yet.  It seems to be the same, this is the first time that I wrote the code at the end.  I still download, allowing to update at the stop.  It is not usually this many Microsoft Downloads.

Full text of update: a security update for MS .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 x 86 (KB2656353)

I have also had problems with my computer.  Had a friend for the holidays watch, which quarantined to a single file.  The only thing we could figure out was that my McAfee program was running whenever I clicked or moved in my email accounts and he used all of the memory 2 g.  So I switched browsers Firefox, McAfee was not doing this, then it was fixed.  After about 5 days at home, McAfee was running with Firefox and slow things down.  I have McAfee online and they are gone, removed a bunch of files placed in quarantine and not something in the software.  It helped, but I still have questions that I had before my friend watched during the holiday season.  (If my printer is left on my computer is hampering trying to close or start.)  I never had this problem at the last place I've lived, but also had a direct line to the internet modem, when I am on a wireless adapter.  And I had problems with the computer in my old USB ports corrupt flash drives.  (* sigh * I just turn my printer power on and off when I need and turn off wireless on this subject because of this problem.)

I also had a warning of 'virtual memory is low' and also known as the end, and it is displayed when the computer is in standby or when I left it for a few minutes.  Again, I have 2G of RAM, but all these strange things began to happen as soon as I started running internet from a wireless key, not that I don't have the choice in my current setting.

    Thanks for your help!
