  • The quarters between a bullet point and the text really

    I'm sure I've done this before, but can't remember how. I have a list of bullete (ul) and would like to leave a wider space between the chip and the beginning of the text. I tried to play with the padding and margins, but which moves the text and bullet point.

  • WRT600N advanced routing problems / use as Access Point and switch

    Firmware 1.01.36 build 4 The WRT600N is connected to an existing LAN and is really only used as a Wireless N access point. There is nothing plugged into the WAN port; only the LAN port. I have NAT disabled. All traffic from a client connected to the WRT600N wireless going very well for the gateway and the Internet router. The customer experience is very good. However, there are a few minor issues as follows.

    1] Setup > Advanced Routing tab has only the following options; to do this, * not * have a picker 'Mode '. NAT, static routing and dynamic routing (RIP).    IS this NORMAL, OR should HAVE a MODE (e.g. switch) AS REFERRED to IN THE HELP FILES?

    [2] even if a connection wireless or wired to the WRT600N works very well, the WRT600N himself is unable to connect to the internet. It cannot connect to NTP to set the time and I can't ping past the gateway router using the ping of the WRT600N diagnostic utility. I ping the gateway 192.168.1.4 port inside, but I can't use the diagnostic the WRT600N ping ping utility something beyond this gateway port. The routing of the WRT600N table is below. THE GATEWAY SHOULD NOT BE 192/168.1.4? HOWEVER THE WRT600N DON'T ME LETS NOT CHANGE IT.

    Topic 1. Linksys, used to have a mode option to switch between the modes 'Bridge' and 'router '. The latest routers call it now better NAT power. Gateway mode means THAT NAT is enabled. Router mode means THAT NAT is disabled. The help files are probably a little bit over. But the option is still the same.

    Re 2. It's normal if you use it as only access point (i.e. do not use the WAN port). The router always takes into account that the internet connection via the WAN port, i.e. it will always use the default gateway on the WAN port. If nothing is connected to the WAN port on the router itself has no default gateway and therefore has no access to the internet. Generally, you are not able to establish the default route in either advanced routing page. It is a known limit of these routers if you do not use as a router.

    The Tin man would be the ideal solution. It could carry the USB with the information in both directions.

    Without Tinman, it gets complicated. You have several options. Ideally, I would recommend to connect a cable and not rely on a wireless bridge. It saves you more wireless bandwidth, is faster and more reliable. If it must be wireless:

    Option 1: Get a wireless, as the Linksys wet bridge. A wireless bridge connects to a wireless network existing and bridges the computer connected to the bridge across the network without wire on the other side (i.e. your router, other clients wireless and internet etc.)

    Option 2: Get a more flexible as the Linksys WAP access point. WAP can be configured as a bridge but also as repeaters and other modes. A WAP browser may be preferable to a WET if you also want a stronger additional wireless signal in the 3rd room. However, a WAP browser is much more expensive and more complex to configure.

    If you want only by cable in the 3rd room or the first room wireless signal is strong enough for the customers in the 3rd, just a wireless wet.

    To connect these devices wired in the 3rd room get a switch. Do not get a hub (if you get one free somewhere). Today, most of the devices are switches in any case, I guess. Never connect a real hub in a wireless bridge. A switch manages all the traffic between the devices connected to the switch directly in-house. A hub can cause additional traffic sent across the bridge...

    It looks like you want a network like this:

    modem - router cable - WAP1)))

    |                                (((sans fil ou les ordinateurs))

    SSID: even on the two WAP1 and WAP2

    SSID broadcast: enabled on both

    encryption method: even on the two

    encryption key: even on the two

    channels: different on each WAP.  You can choose any 2 channels but ideally, they would be at least 5 channels apart.  Usually channels 1, 6 or 11 are working perfectly.

    Your computer will automatically connect to WAP with the strongest signal.  You can "move" from one WAP to another, however, it is best to do this when you are not actively downloading information.  This configuration would not interfere with file and/or printer sharing.

    Wire? Wireless? Status of other computers (if any)? Router? Network devices? Type of Internet connection?

    Have you other computers can connect to the Internet using the same network hardware?

    You have any kind of 3rd party Network Manager installed, like Hello, Netmagic and the likes?

    Do you have the "Fancy" 3rd part security suits, or as the hybrid of nVidia Firewall Firewall.

    You are using more than one firewall (including native Windows), AV or other security applications active?

    If you use any 3rd part above, try to configure them to work corretly on your network, or get rid of them and see if it helps (RID, means getting rid, not just disable ).

    First scan the computer against the viruses and Malwares.

    Above everything is OK, you must be able to connect to the router.

    Connection to the router means that you can enter the IP of the router base in an address bar in one go, being able to connect and configure the router menus see.

    If it doesn't connect to the router, journal newspaper from any computer that can connect to the router wirelessly with a wire, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless SSID broadcast is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security.

    It is a constant frustration for me sorce. My office gives me this error at least once per hour. I changed the wireless pci card (old one finally died but managed to stay in line!) to a usb dongle, and then to the diffenert pci card, and now I'm in a usb port, which is the same brand as the map oringal that worked. As it is, I can be online long enough to get hope and then... Poof nothing.  I do clean boots, refreshed earworm, did the whole ' IVF it ' was bound to him on a previous post, the netsh command reset. Nothing did. I know that's not the router because all other computers in the House including my laptop can connect.  What Miss me?

    The issue could be a conflict of others on the computer.

    I have deployed the new Linksys WAP4410N Wireless Access Point and it works fine. Laptop which is connected to the AP may be able to access the internet. It can communicate with AP and also the gateway IP (IP Router) but it is wireless devices are not able to communicate with each other. In the case of peripheral LAN can communicate with wireless devices. Cannot able to share files between wireless devices.

    Please help me solve this problem. Wat could be the problem here. Stage of Wat I have to take to eliminate this problem.

    Right then, I had this problem when you play any kind of online game, what microsoft calls a 'feature', when I play a game online, I get a 5seconds or until disconnecting lag spikes every 1-5 minutes, making it impossible to play counter-strike, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield 2 and all these sorts of FPS games. I read on this vista of "paintings" Wi - Fi point automatic scan has, so I tried with impatience to deactivate, without success, I even once turned off automatic TCP/IP that crashed my computer, so now I'm wondering, how in the world am I supposed to play a game with spikes of major shift due to a malfunction of the so-called?
    If there is a way to turn it off, remove, or simply work around, tell me. I don't care if it is not allowed, because I got it with feautures of microsoft...

    Have you ever been able to play games online with this computer?
    What version of Vista and what service pack you have?
    You are able to surf on the net normally or you we lag with almost anything on the internet?
    If you have not yet done so, perform a clean boot , and then test your access.  Also make sure that your system BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date.

  • Tunnel traffic through the Access Point

    I "tunnelenabled" in the parameters of Access Points of JSON: true;

    And on the Access Point associated connection servers config guide recommends not allowing the tunneling.

    The end result is that the traffic is going through the Access Point and not crossing does not connect to the server. The client wants to keep the absolute minimum for the ports open between the objects, so I want to tunnel traffic from the Access Points through the connection to the server, and then click the virtual and physical machines internal who installed the agent to view. Even when I check the options of tunnel on the login server it always appears as if traffic is bypassing the broker for the connections and go straight to the agents.


    What the configuration change that I do have all the traffic goes through the access points and associated connection servers?

    After a lot of trial and error reduced us to certificates that we created for Access Points. HTML5 Blast Bridge did not have other names of the object in the cert. Once we gave them a cert that had the URL and not the SAN (subject alternative names) with the real access Point server names that Blast started working again.

  • Droid Turbo could not connect the Cisco access point

    Greetings.

    Since the upgrade to a droid turbo, I was unable to connect to the network without wire of my work. I work in the it Department, but my experience with Cisco technologies and wireless is limited, so I tried to understand why. My previous bike x worked fine. We have a network of all the access points managed by a controller Cisco 4402 running version 7.0.98 of the BONES. I was able to connect to another wireless network that I could meet outside of work, and I am able to connect to the network of my work if I connect it is unsecured guest SSID. Only connections to our 4 secure networks fail. The controller reports that my phone cannot all simply to authenticate. The controller is configured for WPA2 / AES using a key 284 on the particular network, that I am trying to connect. I entered this key manually both via copy and paste. As far as my phone goes, I only tried to withdraw and time networks like tent to start it in safe mode without success. I read on various forums android that maybe it's a problem related to Kit Kat and this kind of problem has appeared on other handsets from other manufacturers, but nothing definite.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
