• To copy, but not print from PC.

  DeskJet F4480 will copy, but I can't print from the PC.  I try to print the crossword 3 documents.  Nothing happened.  I copied something and it worked.  PC and printer off.  Later, enabled.  Copied something, then brought a crossword - without going into the instructions the first puzzle I had entered printed up.  Entered another puzzle and it would not print.  Ink low Watch (non-empty) I use generic black (HP60XL).  (And empty color cartridge.)  I alternate between HP and the generic inks.  Never a problem.

  Looks like you got some jobs stuck in the queue.  In particular, when you mention that the printer started printing the puzzle first after the reboot.

• OfficeJet 4620 wants to power down, but won't start button / stop

  Most of the time the printer/scanner works fine, but sometimes it "sulking" and wants the power off, but won't the power button.

  I have a switch in the extension cord to the electric line which I use in these moments there (better than pulling the plug?).

  When the current is applied again the printer usually goes back to work.

  My HP 4620 stop wireless print whenever it is turned off, although it is connected to the network (by the results of the test network wireless, pass & the quality of the signal is excellent).  No troubleshooting - HP Print & Scan Doctor work there is no help, I have to uninstall & reinstall the printer each time to be able to print wireless again.

  I use it on/on button to turn the printer off, don't disconnect not.

  Please help, or I need to return to the store, this is the third time!

  I also had the same issue and after a few game it seemed to have fixed so here's what I did... Hope this helps someone else.

  -My printer is connected to my wireless network.

  -On my computer that I'm connected to the printer through the IP address 192.168.1.153... (Yours may vary) in a browser

  * You can find the ip address printers on the control panel of the printers by pushing the wireless button and pushing the ok option 1, it should appear with the intensity of the signal and the ip address is at the bottom.

  -Once I was on the Printers page in my browser, I went to the tab network at the top.

  -Then to Internet Printing Protocol section (on the left in the advanced settings)

  -On my own PPI was already on, but the location was empty I put a '1' in the location box and then applied settings.

  -C' is the only thing that I changed and now my printer is asleep as always, but when I print something from my iphone, mac or pc it wakes up and prints as it is supposed to!

  BTW before I went to the printer via the browser. I changed layout sleep in 15 minutes via the Control Panel on the printer itself, don't know if it helped the issue or not because I still had the problem of sleep after I set the timer to 15 minutes instead of 5 min. But I solved my problem after performing the steps above!

  Also note that on the one hand some ppl on here say it's a network problem or a router! This is NOT the case I never even tried these roads and I solved my problem only by changing the setting of the printer! I have not set a static ip address or something like that!  The above steps is things ONLY I touched and my problem is SOLVED!

  I've just set up my new printer yesterday.  When I print, I get an extra page which is printing information such as file name, directory, model, author, Date of creation, etc.  I don't want this info, how it stop?

  I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue.
  First of all, you can perform a HARDWARE RESET. Unplug the power cord to the back of the printer and the wall outlet. Aside for 30 seconds and plug it back. See if it does then.
  
  Another suggestion would be making a copy of the document and see if it gives you this surplus of paper. If so, then it's a hardware problem. If it isn't, then it's something in the software.

  Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me, because it took hours of time and gave rise to a lot of frusteration. I just replaced my black ink cartridge, and not a single drop of black ink will print. I have authentic and cleaned cartridges printheads, two steps one and two, at least two times each. In the meantime, I've used for all my color ink, that always works. But the black does not appear at ALL. Of course, I could buy color cartridges more and use them to print in black, but at this point, I don't want to put more money in this printer if it does not work properly. I'm desperate for a solution! I run a small business from home and I NEED my printer. My warranty expired a few months ago and really hope I don't have to pay for phone support.

  My Officejet 4620 analysis nor documents several pages in a single PDF file.

  Under Windows7, I used my officejet 4620 very often to scan large documents into a PDF document.

  At the bottom of the scan dialogue box there was always a plus to add pages in the analysis.

  It seems as if this sign has disappeared (thanks to the driver better?) upgrade to Windows 10.

  Anyone know what I can do to restore this functionality?

  However, I can't print duplex function in the configuration of printing.  I understand that I have to manually turn the paper as my previous model 4500.  Someone knows the solution?

  I've referenced the manual of your printer. Possibility of manual 2-sided printing is not available with in the printer preferences.  (Where you go into the control panel and set the preferences for the printer from there) But the application your impression of like MS Word for example, you can go to file>print> look under settings and see if there is the option "Manually print on both sides" . The first thing I want you to do, would be for you to follow the steps in the HP Support document: The HP printer will not start up, or answer. Once you have the printer started, I would make sure that you have updated the firmware of the printer. You did not post what operating system you are running on your computer, but you can get the update of the firmware via the page HP Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one of the printer drivers . It is enough to select your operating system from the drop-down list box and click on 'Next' once that refreshing the page just scroll down and click "Firmware". Click Download and follow the instructions to ensure that you are running the latest version of the software for the printer.

• HP Officejet 4620: Office Windows 10 connects to the wireless network printer but do not print

  I have a HP Officejet 4620 all-in-one that I try to use with my desktop computer. The printer has been added to my home network, and I added the printer to my computer via the tab "Devices" Control Panel settings, but when I try to print, nothing happens. The printer icon appears in the bottom right of the task bar that says the printer has "0 documents pending. Strangely, another computer in the office at home, also running Windows 10, can connect and no problem printing to the printer. I tried to install/reinstall the drivers, reset my computer, reconnect with and without a cord USB, and none of this helps. Any ideas on how to solve the problem? My computer was running on Windows 7 until this month when I updated for Windows 10, so I don't know if it's part of the problem or not.

  I see that you are unable to print to your printer HP Officejet 4620. I'd be happy to help you with this. Looks like the driver is damaged.

  The software and the driver could have gotten corrupt, so we will need to remove it and reinstall.

  First of all. Please follow the steps in this guide:

  • HP printers - printer problems after upgrade to Windows 10
  • Run Windows updates, keep your computer current with updates for Windows.

  If the problem persists, follow these steps to see if you can solve the problem.
  Let's start by cleaning up your computer.

  • Cleaning disc in Windows 10.
  • Perform the clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7.
  • Use the System File Checker tool to repair the missing or damaged system files. It's always a good idea to back up your data before proceeding.
  • File system check (SFC) analysis and repair system files & DISM to fix things that are not SFC.

  To properly remove the printer and drivers, follow the steps in this Post by my colleague @X-23.

  I understand that you can print from your Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks printer e-all-in-one HP Officejet 4620 very well, but the printer will not copy. I would like to help with that.

  I would like to begin by ensuring that all covers and doors are closed and then perform a reset of the power on the printer.

  

  Once the printer is ready try to redo a copy. If it doesn't work not made me know what happens, or if there is any error message.
