Photosmart 2575 all-in-One: scan

Impossible to scan believes that since the upgrade to Windows 10. Tried to scan doctor but will not work. Any suggestions please.

Heya @DB471! Welcome to the HP Forums, I'd love to help you analyze with your Photosmart.

I understand that you have tried printing HP and doctor Scan, but it does not work.  Please follow the steps below to completely uninstall the printer and reinstall it again.

  1. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %
  2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
  3. The new software - uninstall the printer software Instructions
  4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
  5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
  • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
  • In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.
  • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
  • In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK

* Note: there is a space between the c and the /.

If you do not at this stage, use this link to perform another way. Restart Windows install

  1. Run the system Accessories\ tool disk cleanup <> How to delete files using disk cleanup
  2. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
  3. Restart the computer
  4. Download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows

    I understand that the printer is stuck on 8 copies and you want to manipulate parameters. Please see page 73 (76/142) of the product manual to modify and adjust the settings. Please let me know the results. Thank you!

  • print jam transport Photosmart 2575 All In One

    I have a HP Photosmart 2575 all-in-one.  I get an error message that the transport is stuck, but when I opened the door there doesn't seem to be any jams.  I don't see anything in the way, and I can move the cart.

    I am using Windows XP Pro.

    Any suggestions are welcome.  I couldn't find the repair shops for an inkjet.

    Thank you for the information. At this point, printing a page and still get the error for carriage Jam message. I've included a link to another HP Forum post that you can try, "jam of transport will not be deleted. Please follow the steps described by Bob_Headrick.

    For half a page of printing, it starts printing the top of the page and then stops? You have to pull the rest of the page printing? Or it sounds like it is printing the rest of the page, but comes out blank?

    It worked beautifully and still works fine as a printer, but can no longer answer mode "scan", which gives the message: "no scan options...". »
    I downloaded and installed your software (AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_130_141.msi) from the HP Web site - even received a "Welcome" message after installing on my laptop (HP Mini running Windows 7 with all updates).  But when Windows tries to configure the installation package, it fails... (Message: Please wait while Windows configures HP Photosmart Essential.)   ...  Time remaining 1 minute' - then it gets no further.)

    Center of HP solutions running on my HP Mini, the message is: "your HP Photosmart 2570 series is ready" and I can adjust the parameters of scanning on the 2575 of my laptop. -for laptop and 2575 are "talk" to each other...
    When I run printing HP and Scan Doctor 4.4, it found errors of Solution Center & Twain & tells me I need an update to fix the errors, but it sends me to the same place from where I have already downloaded the software updated!
    Windows7 does not recognize the newly installed software & more like another package: "HPPhotosmartEssentials.msi", which he says he can't find.

    Instruction was also found on the HP Web site: "Locate & install the .msi file is missing file in the Temp of your computer folder", but there is no msi file in the Temp folder (download goes to the downloads folder).

    Please response ASAP - I cannot USE MY PHOTOSMART2575 MORE scanning DOCUMENTS and have lost DAYS on this - making circles in the round...

    Sorry to say your advice has not solved my problem - but received a phone call the week last of Henry of HP at Gateshead (n. of England) support.

    After 4 hours or more (he missed his lunch...!) firmly on the phone and computer being "picked up" remote, it has removed HP all THE files on my computer (HP Mini) and then reloaded OLD original software for 2575 with updates,... Finally got all-in-one scan with the HP Mini success - so big thanks to Henry at Gateshead for his help there... :-)

    I have a HP Photosmart 2713 all-in-one and installed OSX Mavericks. My print function works fine through "Printers & Scanners" in system preferences, however, I can't scan from this application.

    I tried to find software to download HP Scan that I didn't do it, but can't find the software for my printer/scanner.

    I also tried the other methods described for example by trying to browse an excerpt and the other options, but nothing has worked.

    The last driver full features for your Photosmart 2713 on Mac was for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. I have included a document on the installation and use of the printer with Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks.  I have also included a document on scanning with the Mavericks.

  • 5514 photosmart e-all-in-one: scan multiple pages into a single PDF document?

    How can I scan multiple pages into a single multi-page PDF file?
    I saw posted similar questions, but I have not found all the right answers. The Council alone that I saw was to scan each page in a separate PDF document, then merge them into a single PDF using third party software.
    Of course, I don't want to do.
    I can't believe that there's really no way to do it using the existing HP printing/scanning utilities provided with the hardware.
    My printer/scanner is the "HP Photosmart 5514 e-All-in-One Printer - B111h", and I am running Vista (64 bit) on a HP Pavilion laptop.

    The HP scanning software (start > programs > HP > Photosmart HP 5510 series > HP Scan) select PDF and make sure that the resolution is 300 dpi or less.

    Make sure the option Show Scan preview is checked, and click Scan.

    Once the first page of scanning is finished, place the next page on the window and click on the button "+" under the scan preview...

    Once you are done click Save.

    I noticed your post on the scans of your Photosmart 6510, scan to your system from Vista in black and white. I want to offer my suggestions to you to see if they can help you with this.

    First of all, try to launch the HP print and Scan Doctor who is used to fix the printing and scanning problems. You choose the option "Scanning" when the tool is run. It will inform you if the software is completely installed, or if there is a problem, it can not correct. If it detects an error and shows you a red 'X', I suggest then uninstall and reinstall.

    Here are some links to help with uninstalling and reinstalling if you happen to do these steps.

    The computer and the printer are turned on and connected.  The menu scan give 2 options of scan and reprint or scan to storage device.  In the past, I was always able to analyze the items to a file in the computer.  What should I do?

I would like to help you today with this problem of scan. The issue you are experiencing seems to be due to a problem of 'No Scan Options'. To solve this problem of menu scan can I please have you follow the steps below.

    To begin troubleshooting can I please have you click here. Once the support document opens, please follow the steps in the Solution, Solution two, and three and four Solution. This includes all sub-steps under listed to complete Solutions. Once the diagnosis is complete please try to scan from the front panel of your print to confirm if the problem is resolved.

  • HP Photosmart c4480 all-in-One scan error

    I just plugged the device and ran tests and everything was good, but when I clicked the button for scanning to pc I get this message: parse error. try scan from computer or see the documentation. I can scan some software on the computer except PaintShop. I get an error message with this one, but I want to be able to do the scan of the device, as advertised with a click.

    I had to contact HP by Cat to fix mine. Uninstall/reinstall did for me. It turns out that the HP Solution Center has not been installed on mine.

    When you copy and scan the documents that they are not stored on this device. The only concern I have, is if your printer is capable of fax, which he did not. If this printer has a slot for memory cards, please remove it before throwing the printer.

  • HP photosmart 2575 all in one solutions Center empty

    Operating system is windows 7 and the printer worked satisfactorally for many years, originally on XP but I bought the upgrade hp a few years ago.

    Solutions Center previously worked ok and that I could navigate it well.

    The solution Center now opens on the intro and then screen when the Center window opens the dow lower lists are seen but unwritten words are represented. All dropdowns are the same according to the item that you select (host, settings, actions etc.)

    I'm not aware of any problems with the downloaded updates at the source of the problem.

    Another PC on the network home short W8. and had the HP also installed on the site of HP. It allows to print but does not its solution Center scan. I deleted all of the HP software in the laptop W8. Still no change to the center of W7 laptop solutions.

    Computer laptop W7 took all the software uninstalled and reinstalled from the hp drive. (twice)

    I can't even reach using the solutions Center

    The control panel select programs and features and select Adobe Flash Player from the list, select it and then click on uninstall.

    If Adobe Flash is not listed, go to the previous step and follow these steps.

    Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the Adobe site, from doesnload and install the latest version of Flash Player on your PC:

    Note: remember to use Internet Explorer and not another browser, so the last flash will be installed on your operating system, install Google Chrome or Firefox will install a browser addon and will not Flash install on the operating system itself.

    Once you're done, restart your PC, launch the HP Solution Center and check for the difference.

    If the same white screen will appear, click the Start button and type folder in the search box.

    Open the listed temp folder and locate the last installation folder that begins with 7z. (Just change by its modified date and find the most recent 7z folder)

    Open the installation folder, and then the SolutionCenter folder.

    Right click on the file SolutionCenter.msi (its type appears as Package install Windwos if the extension is not displayed) and select Repair.

    Confirm any command prompt during installation and then try to start the HP Solution Center again.

  • Photosmart 3210 all in one: Scan and reinstall the program failures

    Printer isn't online and firewall is on and no network.  Printer and scanner going good since 2006 until I tried to scan a negative, I think for the first time in its history.  Scan bar will quickly about 2 inches and lamp turns off and printer says to stop, but this isn't.   Had to unplug, but printer would reset with all functions (except movie option).  Uninstalled and reinstall failed with the error situation code 03215762.  Print function works with other programs and copy function works, just can't sweep, and there is no solution Center, could not reinstall.  Resettlement goes to 2% with the status - stop services - bogs and Print Spooler Service and will remain bogged down for hours until the end with the Task Manager.

    During the forced relocation ends and said deleting files, another error situation code 06458626 comes up with a few lines comes from installation error logs.  Help would be wonderful.

    Due to personal obligations, could not work on reinstalling printer until this week.  Put a link to MS and I've tried suggestions there - .NET updates, enter the registry and delete some files and a work-around suggested without success.  Next I googled "Can not stop spooler on MS XP SP3" and as choice went to forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/897775-can't-stop-spooler.html, Harry 32, January 28, 2010.  This guy had a sounding similar problem and his solution worked.  MS Fax in windows, computer components unchecked rebooted, went to spooler MS services, stop selected, and he stopped.  YES!  Then I ran the new drivers you sent and installed the program without glitches.  YES, once again! (actually when install stopped and said spooler was arrested and I wanted it to be fixed and started then the installation can continue; naturally, I selected Yes.)  I scanned a photo, printed and made a copy successfully.  However, I tried again to scan a negative from the solution Center and the button on the Panel of the printer without success.    I'll close this as 'select solution' and start a new discussion of assistance on the issue of negative scan.  Very gratedful for all your help.  I'd never know what Google if you had not discovered in troubleshooting spooler problem.
