Problem to use "factory reset" Cisco VCS!

I have problems with equipment of VCS to achieve the formats it, when I use the command "factory reset", it shows me an error with the number series and the release-keys as you can see in the picture as an attachment.
In addition to the above problem, it does not allow access to the console with administrator only with root user interface and does not connect via the browser (white screen).
Anyone had a similar experience, or have information which may help to be able to format the device to see if the return to normal operation?

When logged in as root, you can manually enter the release key into the system.

Use the following command:

echo 1234567890123456 > /tandberg/etc/rk
where 1234567890123456 is your key to unlocking 16-digit following, restart the VCS. Wayne - don't forget the frequency responses and mark your question as answered as appropriate.

  • E5 - 571 is impossible to activate windows after using factory reset software

    Hi guys,.

So I have an E5-571 I had to wipe with Acer recovery software. I choose the full erase option which reset my computer to factory conditions. Unfortunately, my computer is now always tells me that I need to activate my copy of windows. I used to Belarc advisor to get my product key, but Windows is say that the key didn't work. In addition, I bought a copy of Windows 8 Pro from my school and I tried this key and it did not work. Would purchase Acer recovery media and use that allow me to have an activated copy of windows? Or otherwise, if I installed Windows 8 of my school and used their product key, would this work?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

From your question, it seems that you have Windows pre-installed by Acer. If this is the case, we recommend to contact Acer support via the link below to get your Windows key:

  • Factory reset wireless router connection problems?

    Hello

I recently did a factory reset on my HP6745f desktop running Win7 sp1 and I don't know if my problem is with HP or Linksys/Cisco (my router). I already contacted the support Cisco who reported the problem seems to be "a matter of HP, a corrupt driver or other third-party issue" and then offered to help, for a price. I'm hoping to avoid that if possible.

This office computer is directly connected to the router via an Ethernet cable. Cisco software was that I want to install that 'control' of my router (called Cisco Connect) and when I try to install the software, I get a message saying: "We could not find your router" (that's why the software will not install) - although I am accessing internet through that router. Even if I try to enter my network name and the password, it cannot find anything. I am also unable to access the router via my browser "168.198.1.1".

I am unable to connect wireless with the same desktop so, my 2 wireless laptops have no problem of connection at all, which leads me to believe it's something specific to my desktop pc.

The Cisco Connect software has already been installed on my desktop and it worked fine. I guess my question is: someone has any suggestions for me? This could be a driver problem? How can I identify what (s) for 'check '?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought about it! My router can use a "network key" to connect other computers to the router. I guess when I reset my pc all this info has been removed and the router could not communicate.

I have just created a network key on a flashdrive USB of my laptop, plugged the USB in my office and hop, I reconnected properly. Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate the help.

  • Cisco 7931 G do not start after factory reset

    Hello world

So, I came across a problem that I hit an absolute impasse. I will list it first, then I will follow it with various methods, I tried to solve it.

The phone in question is a 7931G, I can't tell you what software to boot, he's trying to boot from because it does not go far enough in the boot, treat for me to say. I did the factory reset as recommended by the documentation: give power to the phone (in my case through PoE on a UC540), press and hold the ' # ' until the side buttons are flashing turn upward. At this point, press the 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-*-0-# keys and wait until the course ends. The UC540 was active DHCP, all of the latest software on it (Sogiciel 8.6) and tftp-server was operational as well.

What's happening: the phone starts the boot process and go to the screen that says "Update"... "and then, quickly, it flashes on the screen that she asked ' term31.default.loads... 0% "and then it starts to boot (Cisco logo appears)." On the bottom left where it usually shows a box with a check mark, it now shows a full circle in a slightly larger circle. He sat at the splash screen for about 2 minutes, stop and try to move on once more.

I do not know what boot image he used before the factory reset, but this time around his supposed to pull the image of "SCCP31.9 - 1 - 1SR1S.loads. I read in a separate thread support the first 7931 must be upgraded to "SCCP31.8 - 5-4 S .loads" before he can start from 9.x software. So I tftp had the entire folder 7931 Sogiciel 8.2 UC540 to the UC540. I created the entries of the tftp server and alias and set the 7931 load newly downloaded software. Nothing. (The newly downloaded had the corresponding term31.default.loads of the file that was pointed toward the 8.5.4 files).

I rolled back the UC540 everything back to 8.2 Sogiciel, with all the default configurations. Connected to an another phone 7931 (currently logged in as my personal and registered phone CUCM), than the phone registered car very well. I assigned it lines, performed test calls and all of the features worked as expected. 7931 issues, however, remained with the same problems.

I tried to connect the problematic 7931 to CUCM of office, but the problem has prevailed without worrying what port I used.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My goal here is to get the phone to properly initialize and eventually to register with the UC540.

    Thank you

    Andrei.

  • problems printing e-Studio 160 / factory reset

    Hello

I have a multifunction Toshiba Copier e-Studio 160. After trying to connect to an office network and off it, I lost the settings I had set up on my Copier. Now whenever I use the copier I get "cut" copies; I mean that the copies printed by the e-Studio160 do not include all of the original.

Does anyone know how I can set up border printing or how do I do a reset?

    Thank you very much.

I see that no one was able to provide a solution to your printing problem.

I found e-Studio 160 manuals (manual Local and network operator)
    http://www.Eid.Toshiba.com.au/n_manuals16-160-20-200-25-250.asp

I recommend you to consult these documents. Probably you will find the details in these documents how to print borders, or how to do a factory reset

I factory reset my Toshiba laptop and now I have problems.

When I start the laptop I constantly get the message "prepare your pc for first use" and it starts, Toshiba menu starts too and keeps telling me it's to complete the installation.

Randomly, he finished and restarts, boots up to the same problem.
I tried to reinstall via usb as disk media.

    It s really strange.
Do you use an installation of recovery for the first time?

The value of the default BIOS and try again. You can also try to format the whole HARD disk before starting the installation of recovery using your USB key.

  • Cisco SX20 - cannot access web interface after factory reset

    Hi guys,.

I just did a factory reset on my SX20,

and now I can't access the web interface, I need to add the key to release

Basically I can't configure the IP addresses directly through the Executive Director of unity

I need to add the release key and access to any interface
    Help, please!

    SX20 Cisco TC6.3.0

You can access the settings locally using the remote?

If so, you should be able the enable http as well as the fixed IP address using the remote control.

The factory reset should have change setting IP DHCP, so if it has a network connection, this IP address must be included in the top of the page, to the left of the screen.

  • VCS VM Factory Reset

    Hey all,.

We bought a bunch of VM VCSes for our lab.  I just create an and configured for a test in my lab.  I got all turned on and loaded license keys.  Once I did the test, I went to do a factory reset to get it to default to the next person, however the Reset fails on the search for the default image.  How can I fix?  Also do a factory reset change S/N?

    Hi Justin,

in order to reduce the size of the VCS VM. EGGS, the VCS VM file does not come with a factory installed default reset image.

To do a factory reset on VM VCS, you should SCP a standard image software for VCS to VM, to/mnt/harddisk/factory-reset folder and save the image of the software as ' tandberg - image.tar.gz ', as is the file name which reset script will search.

You could for example download X7.2 VCS of Cisco.com, rename this file to "tandberg - image.tar.gz ' and download it to the" / mnt/disk hard/factory-reset "on your VM VCS and you should be good to go"

  • I took the SIM card of my 5s and put it in my 6 s and used an iTunes backup. If I have my 5 s factory reset it will do the same to my 6s?

So I got an iPhone 5S for about two years. I wanted to update so I got the iPhone 6s for Christmas. The Christmas day, after two hours of poor internet connection, have to update iTunes and having my iCloud backups do not work because they were on iOS 9.2 and iPhone 6s, I am on iOS 9.1, I started the 6s upward as new and updated updated to iOS 9.2. * After that, I took my nano off the old 5s iPhone sim card and put it in the iPhone 6 s, then I used the iTunes backup.*

After all this was done I was enjoying the hell out of my new phone and all its features fantasies and what not. But I had a thought, now that I got a new phone I could use my old 5s as more than a games/iPod phone.

    So my question is this:

If I factory reset my iPhone 5 s and wipe your own will, which are the same in my iPhone 6 s even though they are both still connected? (what I mean is, for example, if I changed/added a note to my 6 sec it would seem on my 5 institutions). My concern is that I always use the same sim card that was in my iPhone 5 s. I do not want to reset the 5 s and then have it do the same thing on my new 6 s.

Or can I go to manage the devices on my Apple ID and take the 5 s out of it, then factory reset 5s.

No, the deletion of your old phone will have no effect on your new phone.
