  I have a problem with a font appear as missing in a single document, but in another document. I tried to erase all the paragraph styles and character styles, but nothing works. Police appears in the list of fonts and the recently used fonts, but when I choose what it the text is highlighted in pink as the name of the font is displayed in brackets as if he is absent.

  I tried to remove the cached Adobefnt file, but that does not work either.

  Since the computer was new, I didn't have that one user account and didn't need a user to logon screen, when it opened to that and the only active user account. Fast forward 6 months that I had a problem with a windows installation file deleted and in order to get a program running I had to add a user account for the new installation of the user files. That part worked, but when I disconnected and tried to return to my original owner account there was only the new account on the logon screen my original account wasn't there. My files for this user account are still there in C: User but I can't find a way to get there.

  Googleing this problem I saw things about problems with the accounts being listed as AccueilCompte, or administrator, but it did get me anywhere, the only difference I've seen after going through all that I saw in Win7 Home Premium, which had to do with user accounts, it is that my original account was registered in a field as 'owner '. I don't know if it's part of the problem or not. How can I return to my original account and why isn't she appear on the opening screen of session or user accounts?

• Problem with a missing or corupt file

  The computer is a Dell Dimension 3000 with Windows XP Home Edition and Norton 360. The action that preceded the error message has been trying to install NetGear N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter e. The installation of the adapter has been successful, the next day when I restarted the computer the Dell logo came briefly but cannot start in. After that, the screen went black with the error message. Now when I try once again, the same thing will happen. I tried to rerun the Windows CD but the computer doesn't read it.
  I also tried to use the comand #5 under the Boot Device Manu but it stops when it scaly the starting point.
  I can't the flashing cursor so that I can't scandisk or any other comand.

Response It's extremely likely that you will need to replace the hal.dll and since there are seven files on the XP installation CD that will extend into hal.dll, which would you choose?  It depends on your hardware, but it is extremely likely that the problem (did I already say that?).  I've never had to replace a file hal.dll for this problem. The real problem is most likely that XP just can not find the file because of a file system corruption or a file c:\boot.ini afflicted. For this error, I would always be first boot from the XP Recovery Console and sometimes run a chkdsk-r that will fix things right to the top. If the chkdsk /r is clean and you have the same problem, and then re-create your c:\boot.ini file but rename the old one first so you don't build on top of those afflicted - this tidbit is absent from MS KB article that assumes too. You can do all this in the XP Recovery Console, but do go through these methods in this article and see how you go. For example, method 1 will not work if your system does not start.  You may have more luck with other "methods". If that doesn't work, then I suggest to provide a little more information about your system: Since the Microsoft Answers forum does not have any kind of information system request when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.   I have a problem when I try to Google Chrome 32 thinapp. I did the capture with WinXP using Thinapp 5.0. The application works very well, but I only have one problem. The icon of the Chrome in Windows 7 taskbar does not work. Instead, I see the icon included in the screenshot. If Chrome is installed locally on the computer, it works. I tried to capture on a Win7 32 and 64 bit and it gives the same problem. Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution?

  Google Chrome 34 and 35 are still showing the same behavior...

  Do this test:

  -Launch Chrome packed

  -Right click on the icon 'Virgin '.

  -Right click on "Google Chrome" and select "Properties".

  -Click on "Change icon" and note the error message: Windows cannot find the file %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Google Profile.ico

  This file exists in the package, and if you copy the 'Google' Profile.ico in the capture folder in this location in the native environment, it works!

  As you probably notice, I did it "BOLD" the word "Windows". If you use ProcMon to troubleshoot the behavior and search for "Google Profile.ico", you will see that the process "Explorer.exe" returns "PATH_NOT_FOUND". It is normal, because "Explorer.exe" does not and cannot run in the virtual environment.

  Another solution to the file manually on the background, would be to rename the '% Local Appdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default' '% Local Appdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default.old '.

  Then create a new folder "Default", with a MERGED insulation.

  Once the package is rebuilt, it should work fine. Google Chrome checks if that file exists for this user and if not, recreate. With isolation being MERGED, it creates in the user profile.

• Problems with the missing letters when the combination of Microsoft Word documents

  I had a problem which I hope someone can help me with.

  When I combine several documents (9 total, .doc and .pdf files), some words have letters missing - leaving large voids in the words. It seems that, it seems to happen to positions with the font style "Arial (topics)."

  After some research, I realized that others have seen a similar problem and it could be solved in the Adobe PDF printer properties (properties > Preferences > defaults :).) However, after testing a few different settings, nothing seems to be fixing the issue and I will always have the same missing letters in the final document to convert.

  I use Adobe Pro XI - I was wondering if there is a update/fixes for this? I'm on version 11.0.07. For some reason, I am unable to update so I can't verify this.

  This occurs due to the creation of subsets of fonts. Not all letters are available because they may be in subsets of different fonts. Delete the fonts embedded in the pdf file, then re - incorporate fonts.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Apart from the mentioned measures check the dates of warranty on the cartridges as shown here.  If they are years of the warranty period, is it possible the cartridges have failed, even though they were new in the box.  Also gently pat dry the printhead on a damp cloth to ensure that there are stripes of color cyan, magenta and yellow.  If there is not a task of strong color on the fabric the cartridges are probably the cause.

  The only black test page confirms that the issue is in the printer or cartridges, not with the computer or the drivers.

  Using LabVIEW 2012 Full version (32-bit) on Windows 7 (64-bit).

  I create a project library (.lvlib) and add a bunch of screws.
  I create a banner library icon and apply icon library of all the screws in the library.
  I then change the icons of all the screws in the library, add additional layers, so that each VI icon has a layer called "NI_Library" (the banner library icon) and a bunch of other layers.
  So far so good.

  I have then change the library icon and apply the change to all the icons in the library.
  I open to the top of the screw in the library and find that all the extra layers that I added to each icon previously were wiped out. All my cancelled work.
  Now each VI has 3 layers: NI_Library, NI_IconNumber and VI icon and none of my other layers.

  I am sure that this has not happened in LabVIEW 2011. IN LabVIEW 2011, if I changed the icon libray and apply the change to all the screws in the library, only the layer of "NI_Library" has changed, all other layers remained intact.

  Is this a known issue? Surely this can't be the way it is supposed to work? Or I'm things misunderstanding?
