  It helps. The battery has a root cause:

  ORA-12514, TNS:listener is not currently of service requested in connect descriptor

  This has nothing to do with your Java Update or listener APEX itself, well I'd like to see future versions of APEX to give end users a more complete error message. It seems that connect you with incorrect database settings. Try to remove your apex - config.xml and rerun + / listenerConfigure / + with appropriate access settings. Also, make sure that your database listener is configured correctly.

  Don't know the version of exact details of Oracle 12 c that you are using, but mysteriously the question when you run apxremov_con.sql is due to know what PDB PDB $ SEEDS is not open in READ ONLY or READ WRITE State.

  With two versions of Oracle 12 c, I used (12.1.0.1.0 & 12.1.0.2.0), the SEED of $ PDB is always open in a READ ONLY State when the database is started.

  You can open your SEED of $ PDB in READ ONLY State.

  Once you have uninstalled APEX 4.2 container root i.e. CBD$ ROOT successfully, you can go ahead and install 5 APEX in the PDB of your choice.

Then I created a report query and when I have the test report, a pdf file is downloaded, but when he opens, Adobe reader tells me that is not a valid pdf file.

  This isn't a problem of listener, you will not need earpiece to connect from the same server, check if you see errors in the log file of the alerts.

  I'm evaluating the latest version of Primavera (R8) but the experience so far is not smooth. I followed the instructions as stated in the Guide the administrator but still running into issues. Here are the steps I followed.
  
  Node-1 (64-bit OEL5)
  -Installed database server Oracle 11 g R2
  
  Node-2 (32-bit OEL5)
  -Installed Oracle client 11 GR 2
  -Configuration of database P6 EPPM running without any problem
  -Installed the Weblogic 11 g (10.3.3) server and created a domain with a Server Admin and Managed
  -Installer executed in Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management R8 for system that extracts p6.ear to a location, then a configuration database. Both went well.
  -Make the following changes to startWebLogic.sh in $DOMAIN / bin
  > JAVA_OPTIONS = "${SAVE_JAVA_OPTIONS}"-Dprimavera.bootstrap.home = < p6home > ' "
  -Starting the server and p6.ear deployed, started the application and the report shows Active.
  
  But when you access the application with the url http://test.oracle.com:40501 / p6 I see a white page with a redirect to URL http://test.oracle.com/p6 (port number is missing). I used a proxy http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fran and notied a redirect to http://test.oracle.com:40501 / p6/action/login and then to http://test.oracle.com/p6

  You can install the Win XP without drivers Intel Storage Manager (SATA drivers) but in this case the SATA mode must be on compatible mode.

  I have problems installing a PCI-6220. The card has been installed a couple of years on a PC and rarely used. I withdrew from the it and connected to a new PC (Intel core i3 2.93 GHz, Windows7). After installing the card on the new PC in a first time, I could read the name of PCI6220 under 'Devices and interfaces' (in the program MAX) but I´d not been able to define it as a device. So I tried to remove the card and plug it in again and now the situation is even worse, I only see an "unidentified PXI system" in the program of MAX.

  Any idea what bad and what can do to make sure that the card does not work properly? As a reference, I need to connect to a CA-1000 enclosure housing a CB-68LPR device.

  I have recently (June 2014) bought a brand new Ipod Classic 7 G 160 GB Model A1238.

  Whenever I connect via USB to a PC running XP SP3 and Itunes V10.0.7.2 it is always treated as if it were a new connection, i.e. "new hardware found". After trying to install it, it says so "cannot install this hardware" and "there was a problem installing this hardware: Apple iPod USB Device."
  I have also a 2009 16 GB Ipod Nano 4 G model 1285 and this is recognized by the PC whenever it is connected through the USB port itself.
  I connected the Ipod Classic 7 G to a laptop running Vista and Itunes V10.0.7.2 where the Ipod is recognized and installed.

  Even if the PC States that there is a problem installing the Ipod, it still appears in Itunes and I can download music to it and disconnect by using safe mode disconnect.

  I watched "Device Manager" under "Drives", the Ipod Classic is listed as an "Apple Ipod USB Device", but has an exclanation score against it.
