• Firefox beta 35. not ready for prime time.

  I spent all weekend trying to get the beta version of Firefox 35 to work. What I found is that * extensions of all it does not work with the exception of the maintenance of the premises. I can't download any extension that Firefox is so famous. The error is something like "unable to install"plugin-name"in its current state." Activation of any extension requires a FF reboot, same places maintenance. Try to remove an extension fails and must be done manually.

  I'm on Windows 7 Premium desktop Firefox 32 bits. I've 'committed' myself to 35 FF last night (which means history and cache out of settling because did not work it extension "expire history by days'), when I found out that 35 played well with some sites using Flash. It was a capricious thing. Many sites worked as usual, but some would not. Examples:

  First time I have had a problem with a version beta of Firefox, but it's definitely not ready for prime time. I realize FF tries to get away from what we call 'Exclusive Modules' but 35 FF in its current state just fill in Support of Moz forums with millions of complaints (guess I'm one of the first). I now have 1 extension (the only one that works on 35), the above mentioned "Site Maintenance".

  I thought you might like this report as 'user input '. God knows I've tried... I have downloaded 35 at least a dozen times and then was forced to 34.0.5. So I'm back on 34.0.5

  Good news, friends... and thanks for holding my hand during all this time. I mainly need to know if my problems were me. global or all just... and perhaps others with some configurations.

  I am now on 35.0b2 (not sure how that happened). Anyway, I downloaded beta, that is, reset Firefox, added my cookies.sqlite and permissions.sqlite, has spent half an hour in the 'options', and then checked things and seems to be back in the game!

  Put the songs of interest within a Playlist in the order you want.  Then go to the file menu, then choose print... and click on the Inscription of the song.

  I've recently updated LabVIEW 2010 64-bit. Then it turned control of the movement previous screws do not work in version 64 bit 2010. The error indicates the failed to load "FlexMotion32.dll". It is logical, apparently this DLL file is 32-bit.

  I did a search on ni.com about FlexMotion. This page http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3753 illustrates that "FlexMotion32.dll" is required for the communication between LabVIEW and motion controller board. Tried to find if "FlexMotion64.dll" is available, but it doesn't seem it exist yet.

  Unfortunately there is not a 64-bit version of the software OR-Motion at this time.  The only way to use the NI Motion software is on a 32-bit system.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

  I am very new to TestStand, please see the question below and give advice.

  I want to set up a simple test sequence.

  I want a message to popup on the screen that asks the operator what unit of 6 units (maximum 10) to test (i.e. There is say box of 6 to 10 s to select from).

  Then the sequence goes to the specific part of the sequence and performs the test on a unit that either has been selected.

  What is the best way to do it?

  I use pop-up message windows to do this? and if so what should I connect to the correct part of the sequence file?

  Pop-up message windows allow only 6 options to select from?

  You can do this by using the method of message popup. You can ask the user what unit want to run message by inserting in the expression of the message in the message popup step parameters. Something like below

  "Enter the number of execution unit.

  1 Unit1

  2 unit 2

  .......

  10 Unit 10 "

  then check the 'Enable response text box"tab is different from the stage. When the user enters the unit number you can get the value entered by the user by inserting the below statement post expression of message popup step parameters

  Locals.String = Step.Result.Response

  Note: The string is a local variable to be set.

  Convert string to number and send that output to pass the expression you can use a sequence of call step to call the sequence according to which must be performed. (I hope your each unit will file separate sequence)

• Win 7 now fails Genuine Advantage test! Classified counterfeit

  I bought a Lenovo X200s's with Windows 7 preinstalled direct and a Win 7 ca on that label.

  Yesterday, I was informed that Win 7 is not authentic and that I'm a victim of counterfeiting.

  I had just installed the latest updates of the system update Thinkvantage 4, including the update of the Intel chipset.

  At one point, the machine had a service where the motherboard has been replaced but Windows is authentic since months since that. Support people we Tech 800-426-7378 were without help. They said they don't manage hardware issues.

  So who can help? MSFT needs to work on the WGA system.

  If you righclick "Computer" and select Properties, you should have an option at the bottom that is give you the opportunity to change the product or option key to activate Windows. The product key should be located on a sticker at the bottom of your computer. Try to enter this product key, and then try to activate Windows online. If the activation failure online, call the Microsoft activation service and explains that the motherboard was replaced and you cannot activate Windows. They should fix it so you can activate Windows. I've done this several times before and after 3 times a week with the same computer because the hardware failure/replacement. Not once did I knew that Microsoft asked questions or refused to fix it for me.

  When you try to activate online and the activation failed online give you a list with the phone number to call Microsoft and should find one for your country.

  Unless I'm mistaken, that Microsoft has released an update recently in order to better detect Windows that is not authentic and that could be the reason why your Windows suddenly changed to 'not real' even if it has been working well for some time after the replacement of the motherboard.

  After having tested locally, download the SWF file and the HTML file on your web server and let the FLV file in the vod/media folder. To see the video, simply open the HTML page in a browser. When you press play, the FLVPlayback component contact FMS and plays the video.

  I arrived at the time when I was running Windows 7 Beta and now it happened again after that I went back to Vista, but installed SP2 this morning.

  iTunes takes 30secs-5 minutes to synchronize a track to an iPod. After rolling back to SP1 it works fine again. I scoured the Internet looking for people with similar problems but could find only a few, with no solutions. What is - this on these updates that are breaking iTunes on my PC?

  I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with W7 and sync to iTunes.  Personally, I use Vista and W7 and am an avid itunes user and have yet to see a problem.  You can check out the Windows 7 forum to microsoft.com/springboard, may there are some information about compatibility with your system, please keep in mind, if your system is stable before, and you have the Vista drivers they will work with Windows 7, so you can get back at them.

  Firefox 4.0 beta 1 is a version of 'Tester' for what will become the next major release of Firefox - in like 5 or 6 months. You should not use it at all unless you want to 'test' and report problems that you found.

  Uninstall it and use 3.6.8.

  You should always install the version currently marketed in public when it came out; as far as I know, there is no beta version for Mac OS for now.
