  DC XI & Acrobat Acrobat has been tested successfully on Windows 10.

  Other versions may or may not work, difficult to predict behavior.

  However, try to uninstall & reinstall the printer drivers.

  Also make sure that Acrobat 9 is updated.

I have more virus in my computer, it's just that I think that my Internet connection is too slow. My cousin asked me help on how to get rid of a bunch of virus on his computer at home, that I offered help by using the Scanner, as I do for my friends over the past two months. (I never asked them for anything in Exchange). Do you have any other download links for Microsoft Safety Scanner? I can't try to download. I tried to go outside in cafes Internet just for the download, but its still the same and even worse, computers on these places are full of virus. Other links? Torrent or maybe?   I'll give you an answer. What the interrogator does not understand, is that MS Paint does not have a setting for the CIO. There is no default DPI setting in MS Paint. The setting is controlled by the scanner driver or scanner itself. MS Paint simply communicates with the driver for the scanner, which then continues to do the analysis, then once completed, he hands the digitized data back to MS Paint. Therefore, the parameters of the interrogator wants to know how to change are not in MS Paint. they are in the driver scanning interface. This driver determines how he manages the parameters after returning the scanned data to the connection/disconnection of call program, in this case MS Paint. Most of the drivers scan all right back to their default value. In the case of the user, it's 100 dpi, but another scanner, this could be 150dpi (common with many scanners a few years back), and by default most recent scanners often at 200 dpi. Because the scanner/printer has been set to use 300 dpi by default, MS Paint, IrfanView or any other program that launches a scan will get also 300 dpi scans.

  What the questioner needs is a scanner which allows its default value to or one that is default to 300 dpi in a first time. If you try a new scanner, you will find that the parameters does not return to 100 dpi, but instead has regardless of the definition of the scanner as default.

  Given that most of the pilots to simple scanner always return to the default devices, and in this case, setting this parameter scanner is only 100 dpi, you can use a software that is specially designed to solve this program with its own resolution settings. An example is called "search". In its interface, you choose what the desired resolution, then when it communicates with the scanner, he deals with the change in the value whenever a scan is requested.

  If you use color or grayscale is a separate choice outside the DPI setting. Some scanners can scan to a different resolution for shades of gray than they do for the color. Nevertheless, the problem and the solution is the same.

  But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

  I would like to be able to scan documents to PDF files, but HP Scan Pro does not see my scanner. Several times, I get the error message:

  I tried all the steps suggested in your troubleshooting guide, including to repair my disk

  permissions, uninstall and reinstall the HP software via software update, but nothing helped.

  I was able to scan to jpg files via System Preferences/Print & scan/open Scanner and also analysis of the printer to a flash drive, but it would be much more convenient scan documents directly to PDF on Mac format!

  This feature is used to work when I had this printer connected to a PC.  I am now trying to run on a new Mac Mini running OSX 10.7.3 Lion. The printer is connected directly to a USB 2.0 on the Mac.

  I feel of ben with her already and it seems to work fine with this computer for printing.

  Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

  The complete functionality (including the HP scanning software) HP software is not compatible with Lion.

  The driver for your operating system available via update of the Apple software and not on the HP site.

  Be sure to remove completely any HP software installed as follows:

  2. Select Applications
  3 select the Hewlett-Packard folder
  4. double-click on the HP uninstaller application
  5 follow the uninstall to prompt to select a device to uninstall
  6. press and hold the keys Ctrl + Alt + Cmd on the keyboard at the same time as you click on Uninstall
  7 approve any prompt to uninstall all HP software.

  I installed the latest drivers from "full functionality" for my Officejet Premium 8600, v12.23.0.

  I'm running OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion).

  I want to be able to scan directly from the printer to my laptop, using the function "Scan to Computer".  However, when I open the HP utility, I see no option for "Scan to Computer" in scanning settings.  I don't see options for 'Scan to email' and "Scan to Network Folder".

  In the search of these forums, only suggestions that I found are to install the full featured of the printer drivers, I have already done.

  Click your desktop, then click on the menu to go to the top and select Applications you should see the Hewlett-Packard folder.

  If you do not see such a folder, run the installation once more, make sure you check the HP recommended software during the progress of the installation...

  I just got a new computer which uses Windows 8. I have always my photosmart 309 love and often use it for scanning and an occasional fax. I have always used the Hp Director to set up my scans. I see that this is no longer an option. Is there another program I can use, or am I out of luck?

  You can try to uninstall the printer software (from the control panel), then by restarting your computer and download and reinstall the printer using the same link I posted above.

  That should help the printer freshly and correctly on your computer.
