Scanned image default size

Does anyone know how to make the default size of the documents of my small Canon scanner? Thank you.

Try to change the Resolution of output or dpi.

You may need to consult your manual cane with your scanner.

  • Not scanned image the same size as the original

Scanned images of a doc of legal size seem to be reproduced on images of legal size. When printing, the print space is 60% or the printed page, while the original doc was so full page. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

The default action is to just scan the document in without letting you look at your scan settings. I would say "the Interface of the Native Scanner see the" setting under "Custom Scan".  File > create a PDF from a Scanner > custom scan

Click on the radio button to select "native interface of the scanner Show", then OK to confirm.

When you click Scan in custom scan, you can then preview, set the size and then analyze using your own scanner software.

  • Amendment of the text of the scanned image. I want the same text font and size.

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to edit an image scanned with the text on the subject. I want to replace/remove/change the text on my scanned image but I want it to be the exact same font and size and color. Color should be easy enough. But how can I do other things? Also, is there a way to simply copy the bottom of my scanned image and get rid of all the other stuff on it? Thanks to all who help.

If the site does not recognize fonts, you may be able to illuminate the background.  You can use Image - adjust - curves both illuminate the background and obscure the text, end up with something like this:

But you don't really have to go to WhatTheFont.com for this one...  It's pretty clear the font Arial Windows (I recognized immediately)...  Looks to be about 20 points in size.  You can either use the variant "BOLD" to the police, or the fake fat Photoshop character Panel feature which seems to be a closer match:

    Hi all

I have a HP Office Pro L7780 and when I scan documents it does not automatically analyze the entire page. It only scans the text and when accept/save the scan, the text size is increased. I want to scan the whole page as it's copy, so I did not need reduce/adjust the size each time before you accept/save the scan of the machine. Can anyone help my for this to be correct within the parameters of the machine.

    Thanks a load

    > Try to go to c:\program HP imaging\bin, look for hpiscnapp.exe

    > 2 x click on it and it must analyse immediately, please check if your still having the same problem.

If you' re still the same problem, I really don't know if the printer is capable of scanning of paper of A4 size, but if it is uninstall then Center solutions HP and HP Imaging Device functions of the control panel > Add/Remove programs and then reinstall it using this: SW Download Page

Just select your operating system and search for the Installer "Full Feature software and driver". This is what you need download and run. Good luck!

  • Scan images in forms app / scanner Twain

Can you give your opinion on how to have a form * QUICKLY * scan and crop the images of a scanner passport photo size

Data entry speed is essential, so I'd like to minimize the total time and keep the mouse button click on count down.

I want to do as much as possible in the context of the form's window. Scanning directly in an image on the form would be nice as the current application to do this via a Twain scan

The scanned image are saved in a file (either on the application server forms or in the MS-Windows client file system). The name of the file will be stored in the database and displayed in the form. I'm not sure if the image must be displayed in the form window or not.

The scanned images are pictures of identity of the face size.

The user must make minimum changes to the photo - cropping usually only.

Is there Java beans that will help to do this? Use OLE via WEB_UTIL? Any other ideas?

  • Setting the default size of the popup window

I need a way to set the default size of the popup window on a specific area or all areas (whichever is easier). There is a particular site that pulls up a PDF in a pop-up window, and always default to a small window, but I need full screen. Apart from the obvious 'simply click on the button full screen every time ", can someone offer me some suggestions? If it were me, I'd just hit the button fullscreen, but I'm trying to set it up for some end-users rather capricious. The device in question (if important) is a Tablet from Dell XPS 18, and the version of Firefox is 24.0, just installed about twenty minutes ago. Forums for research, the only thing I found remotely close to what I'm looking for is to force the popup to allow resizing; This isn't what I need; the pop-up window already allows resizing. I need a way to automatically open it full screen. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • How to do back to the default size in Firefox 24 fonts? They are conveyed much too big.

Since upgrading to Firefox 22 and 24, the size of the font has been extremely huge. The only way to make it smaller is ctrl-, but when I go to other sites the fonts are normal size.

I want to be able to get the font default size on the 24 of Firefox. I use Chrome because it was so darn annoying, that it is the same cause Bing to screw up.

Can someone help me with this problem?

  • HP MFP M277 dw: scanned image is not horizontal

    Hello

    I have problems with scanning.

The scanned image is not right, not horizontal, the image / lines slightly tilting. The right of a line that is slightly below the line on the left. Looks like the book was a little twisted, but it's not. The left and right margins are straight and vertical, but the lines is tilted slightly.

This occurs regardless whether I put the paper on the glass or using the paper feeder.

My MFP is almost new, and this problem has happened all the time.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C410b: could not save the scanned images

I use the HP Scan application and the error message: -.

Could not save the scanned images

appears when you try to save in a folder as a PDF or any other format.

Ironically, if I'm going by sending to the printer and then save to PDF it works!

I checked and I'm using 4.2.2 with El Capitan HP driver software

    Any thoughts?

    Hello

The application from HP for your printer is not compatible with El Capitan, so the output files incorrectly recorded.

In the Hewlett-Packard folder move HP Scan to the trash and empty it.

Before you install and use the HP Easy Scan application below which should save the files correctly:

  • Preview of the scanned image is good but once saved image is black with horizontal lines

    My OS is: OSX 10.9.3

I have a HP Photosmart Premium series - C309g all-in-one machine. This machine worked well.

    Print is good.

    Copy is good.

But now I have some analysis of the issues, probably due to an update of the OS.

Problem: Preview of the scanned image is good, but what saving image--> the image is black with horizontal lines.

I rumaged through the forums and you have not yet found a solution to my specific machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Scan using the software provided as Capture of Image or preview.

The application of scanning HP for your printer is not available to 10.9, you use incompatible software.

  • HP 6510 - areas shaded on scanned images

When I scan an image or document using a HP 6510 scanned images are dark and shaded areas along the vertical edges of the completed scans. The cover is closed all the way and the shadows are not part of the original image/document. What could cause this problem and how to fix it?

I have scanned hundreds of images with a C5280 printer/scanner and never had any problems with it. Since I bought the 6510, I didn't have problems with it, it's a true lemon IMO. Does anyone know if HP is planning a recall on this model?

Resolved: The problem proved to be the scanner cover. It allows a small amount of light to enter along the edge of the hinge. After you verify that the lid has been correctly installed (tabs of hinge in place and the lid placed correctly in addition to glass) I found that putting something, like a book or my hand on top of the lid while the machine is scanning has solved the problem.

I miss my old HP Photosmart C5280.

    Hi Bobvan1,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see when you scan with your HP Photosmart 7515 he started to add a double line about 2 inches from the left edge.

    Hello

HP Easy Scan provides not less features HP Scan, this is a later version of the software.

It provides the same functionality, such as capabilities, OCR, Image detection, scanning front panel and other capablities supplied by HP Scan.

You can also install more HP Scan and test it, the current application will remain on your Mac.
