Sleep disorders
I use "power options" to get the computer to sleep after say an hour.
This feature has stopped working. It will put is no longer automatically standby. He goes to sleep if I ask him the Stat menu, and he goes to sleep if I choose the option to sleep after you close the lid, but it won't by itself by the cautious option settings.

Envy 15: [Windows 10] close and sleep disorders
Hello!
Yesterday I upgraded to windows 10 on my desire to 15 t, but I could not to power it off the coast without forcing the closure downwards. When I hit the close button on the start menu, all what he died except residents. Same thing happens when its mode 'sleep', but the other way around. Any help?
Right-click on start > Control Panel > system and security > Power Options, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable," uncheck "Enable fast start up (recommended)", click on save changes. No longer a Fast Start, but this should fix the problems related to the record of the State of kernel and your PC should exit normally, takes just as long to start and stop.

Hibernation and sleep disorders
When I went for a short period of time, I usually put my computer on hibernate or standby mode. A few weeks ago, I started having problems with both modes. Now when I try to turn on my computer after the two modes, my computer will not sometimes return. I can hear the computer running, but it will turn back not after standby or sleep. Sometimes it will overheat as well.
This will show you a few steps to help you troubleshoot and find out what is the cause of your sleep mode problem. These are the usual reasons for problems in sleep mode.

Closing and with HP Pavilion 15 sleep disorders
Hello.
I hope someone can help me with this.
I did an update around December 18, 2013. According to me, one of them was an update of the Bios.
Stupidly, I didn't have to restore then.
Since then the computer is not shut down or sleep properly.
If I use the power button or the sleep/shutdown software, the following occurs.
The power button turns on and the wifi light go to orange (airplane mode).
The laptop seems to be stopped otherwise.
The fan remains on.
The only way is to press the button for a few seconds until the powers of sytem down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Adam
Follow the instructions in this document from HP
I suggest to use the second option after you have created a USB key with HP_Tools about this since the softpaqs diagnosis available on the download section of the web support for your notebook.
If you had your laptop with complete product number or name of the product, I would have been able to provide a link to the softpaq.
HP has made and sold more than a thousand different models of laptops and desktops over the years. It is difficult to help you if we don't know which specific model you own...
Method #1: If the laptop boots into Windows, you can retrieve your product number by pressing Fn + ESC key.
Method #2:
Remove the battery and look in the compartment where the battery was installed. You should see a Service number with the printed part number and product name. Thanks for posting the p/n (with all alphanumeric characters) here. If you live outside of North America, it helps us if you post the country of purchase. Also post the type of processor installed. (AMD or Intel)Don't forget to view the name of the installed operating system, if you haven't done so already.

Sleep on computer problem; Generic USB hub
My computer has had trouble sleeping, and this time I was able to find something in the event viewer, directly related to it. Sometimes the computer goes to sleep, sometimes it will not, often times possible to sleep for a few seconds then wake up to the top.
Event Viewer, said ' Wake Source device: Generic USB hub»
Note, that there is no hub USB connected to my computer. There are hanging things that are USB, certainly including my printer, external hard drive, which are both off the coast. There's also the keyboard, optical mouse and speakers, this is it.
Any thoughts? Perhaps one of the USB ports is the cause.
2 other computer tech says sleep disorders are usually caused by the RAM or RAM from port problems.
Well, please follow the link I provided and read the articles for this search. You must go through all the devices in the Device Manager and check the relevant settings. It is clearly your USB Hub (integrated is a hub, too) that it prevents to go to sleep.

Toshiba with vista touchpad mouse stopped working after the long sleep.
I left my Toshiba laptop with Vista only for a few hours and when I came back I had a lot of difficult to resume. When he did power to the top of the screen is fixed to the external monitor, and touchpad mouse will not work. I did a system restore to several days ago, but it did not help. I also installed service pack 1 and 2, hoping that would be useful, but it did not. What should I do to get the touchpad mouse works again? I have the back of the screen, but not the mouse.

Cannot get computer to exit the mode "sleep"...
Earlier this morning, my computer for 15 hours to exit the mode hibernation; some very useful posters expressed the view that it could be a battery problem, but thatprobably was not the case.
Now, he's not out of "sleep mode".
Should I disable one or both of these modes, or do a "hard" reset (I've heard the term, but I don't know how it's done), or try something else.
This is a laptop HP 3 year with Vista & IE 8.
Thank you!

Monitor does not return after sleep.
When my computer is in sleep mode and I come back to it, the monitor does not. A message stating that he'll be back in the mode 'sleep', and the only way I can get to come is to manually restart the computer by holding the power button flashes. The problem seems to get progressively worse - sometimes taking a quite awhile to come back even after rebooting. I disconnected and then reconnected all the plug-ins and that you have completed all the recent Norton checks available to me. Any ideas on why it is past, or better yet, how to fix?
