SQLDeveloper hangs intermittently

I have been using SQL Developer for several years now and I have never experience a version that had no problems with the hanging and several times I have to kill the process.

I was very happy to see the 4.0 version, but I still have problems with intermittent sessions suspended.

Does anyone know if this is a windows problem, the question of the java, managing bad connection...?

see you soon,

-j. e.

I was able to find the problem.

Apparently the PL/SQL has been completed up to 256 characters per line

This caused the JVM to run out of memory.

Unfortunately, I automatically assumed it was Developer SQL hanging up.

I bought a brand-new Equium A200 - 1VO and it crashes intermittently. When it crashes near the top, nothing does. Laptop must be switched off / get it on.

No one knows why this happens? Nobody knows how to solve this problem permanently? Your help will be appreciated.

    Hello

You must understand that no one can give you an answer why this happens. Nobody we exact configuration for laptop and software pre-installed. I imagine that some background activity forced CPU to 100% of the blocks of its use and laptop.

Try to open the Task Manager and try to find out what process force CPU 100% usage.

I noticed the similar problem by running IE7 on my Satellite P200.

  • Web browsers freezes / hangs intermittently - Firefox/IE11

Recently installed Win7 64 bit on a PC with Windows Vista already. Periodically, my browser starts unresponsive.

    For example.

Open Firefox, normal... click a link to a site web, data gets transmitted (little logo goes round and round at the top left). Then it stops (hangs). The only thing I can do is to close the application.  The rest of the computer is fine IE works normally at this stage. I then opened IE11 and it locks without even load my homepage. Go back and re - load Firefox - sometimes my home page load - sometimes I get a message from FF on a mistake from previous session.

This will continue until I connect and turn it back on and sometimes stable for a while, then leaves. Finally, IE11 loads normally.

I've disabled all the plugins/add on the corn makes no difference.

When I was with vista on same PC hardware, I seem to recall something about drivers Realtek PCIe Controller (network hardware) Family I had problems to install a driver more recent that really fuck the PC then he returned to the former. Found some info on that somewhere and do not do what I did. Can't find that now!

I have the same motherboard - when I installed Windows 7, which initially found a driver during installation and everything was normal, but didn't leave it too long before I updated the driver for a newer version. For a while, things were ok but now I'm stuck with this really irritating problem. Have no idea if this could be the problem, but something interferes with the web browser and nothing else?

Use Bitdefender Total Security 2014 - do not believe this to be a problem. No virus/malware etc plans to buy another NIC PCIe for about £6 see if this is the cause but would really appreciate other ideas to try.

    Hello

The problem "Not responding" for IE and other software is a common problem for windows PC.

I personally do not recommend this is to say that there is NO DIFFICULTY for the problem and it hangs even if you disable all because of the DEP!

For FireFox, I had the same problem and a way to avoid what is happening is to turn off of following in Firefox options (press alt and T and in the menu Tools go to options):

    tab in advance:

    UN check under general settings:

    "use hardware acceleration when available.

under settings choice given UN check:

    "Telemetry".

"Report on the health of FireFox.

    "Crash Reporter.

    Sub tab network:

Go to "Connection settings" and choose a Proxy.

Also, make sure that your plug-ins and Add-ons are up to date.

Plan to run fewer programs at the same time according to the specifications of your system. Reduce your start up programs as much as you can and make sure that your system is clean. Search on your computer regularly for viruses, malware and spyware!

Also de-fragment of disc and cleaning can also help to prevent this problem in the future.

  • Windows hangs intermittently and sometimes upwards down

    Greetings!

Windows has been intermittently locking up and sometimes it will lock upward and the OS will crash.

What will happen, it's the computer will stop working, can't move the mouse, etc., but then come back.  Sometimes, the behavior of the cursor will change (showing pointer when it should be the line of text, or vice versa) and sometimes not.  There are times where it will happen immediately, and sometimes it won't happen for a long time, and sometimes not will be not at all.

The ONLY common thing I observed that I have usually have Firefox running and am browsing on the web, or running videos.  It seems that Flash might be involved, but it is difficult for me to say.

I have the XML and DMP files since the last accident of BSOD, but do not know where I would set those on this post.

    Thanks for any help!

    Stop 0 x 124 is a hardware error

If you are overclocking try to reset your settings to standard processor and see if that helps.

If you keep getting the BSOD here are things more than you may want.
This is usually hardware related, defective heat, memory or processor even if it is "possible" he is associated (rare) driver.

Stop 0 x 124 - what it means and what to try

    Synopsis:
A "stop 0 x 124" is fundamentally different from many other types of bluescreens because it arises from a complaint of material.
Stop 0 x 124 minidumps contain very little concrete information, and it is therefore necessary to address the problem as a case of material in an unknown state of distress.

    Generic troubleshooting ' Stop 0 x 124 ":

    1) to ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Material which is pushed beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - may malfunction in unpredictable ways.
    (2) ensure that the machine is sufficiently cooled.
If there is doubt, open the side of the case (be aware of all the relevant conditions guaranteed!) PC and direct an electric fan squarely to the motherboard. Who will rule on most cooling problems (lack of).
    3) update all drivers related to materials: video, sound, RAID (if applicable), NIC... anything that interacts with a piece of hardware.
It is best to run the latest drivers anyway.
    (4) update the BIOS of your motherboard according to the manufacturer's instructions and clear CMOS.
Their website should provide detailed instructions on the brand and model-specific procedure.
    (5) rarely, bugs in the operating system may cause "false positives" 0 x 124 events where the hardware wasn't complaining, but Windows thought otherwise (because of the bug).
At the time of writing, Windows 7 does not have to suffer from a defect, but it is nevertheless important to keep Windows up-to-date.
    6) trying (stress) test these hardware components that can be put to the test artificially.
The most obvious examples are the RAM and HDD (s).
For the RAM, use the 3 rd-party memtest86 utility to run several hours a test value. (6-8 passes to stress the ram)
For hard drives, verify if CHKDSK /R finds any problems on (s), including "bad sectors".
Unreliable RAM, in particular, is mortal, as well as software, and anything other than a 100% clear memory test result is cause for concern. Unfortunately, even a 100% clear result the diagnostic utilities does not guarantee that the RAM is free of any defect - only that none have been encountered during the test passes.
    7) as the last of the non-invasive troubleshooting steps, perform a "Vanilla" Windows reinstallation: just the OS itself without additional applications, games, utilities, updates, new drivers - or ANYTHING that does not come from the Windows 7 disc.
Who stops working mitigate the problem of the 0 x 124, jump to the next step.

If you run the "Vanilla" installation long enough to convince yourself that not a single 0 x 124 accident occurred, start installing applications and updates slowly, always stopping between successive additions long enough to get an idea of the question if the machine is still free of 0 x 124 breaks down.
Smash back, obviously the latest addition of software may be somehow connected to the root cause.
If the stop error 0 x 124 persist despite the above steps, and the equipment is under warranty, consider to go back and ask for a replacement that does not suffer periodic MCE events.
Be aware that want to perform the subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps can, in some cases, void your warranty:
    (8) clean and carefully remove the dust inside the machine.
Reinstall all memory modules and connectors.
Use a can of compressed air to clean the RAM DIMM supports as much as possible.
    (9) If all else fails, start removing items of hardware one by one in the hope that the culprit is something non-essential that can be eliminated.
Obviously, this type of testing is much easier if you have access to equivalent components in order to perform swaps.

If you are in the situation to have completed all the steps above without a resolution of the symptom, unfortunately the most likely reason is that the error message is literally correct - something is fundamentally wrong with the hardware of the machine.

Anyone seen this before? I have googled and looked for the error, but I have not found anything useful. I have databases Oracle similar setup running in W3K on a physical box and that works very well and makes me think if it has something to do with running in VMware.

Any pointers/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Bad situation. You encounter internal errors, which generally require the help of Oracle support. Oracle VMware is not supported, so support will refuse to help him. They will ask to reproduce the problems in a supported environment, but here, everything is fine - as you say.

It's always a risk to run Oracle software in an unsupported environment.

  • T61 gel when running on battery - no problem when it is plugged

Got a new T61 2 weeks: 6459-CTO, Vista 32, T9300 2.5 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, Intel Turbo Memory. Everything is fine except the following problem: when running on battery only (not connected) the system hangs intermittently, programs stop responding, ctrl alt del does not work, only solution is a hard closed down. Lenovo sent me a replacement battery but same problem persists. Very annoying! System has never frozen when connected to the AC. All PC Doctor diagnostics OK. Insatalled latest drivers etc. Is update system, including Windows update. I have read that some versions of Intel Turbo Memory has had this problem when running on battery alone, but apparently this has been corrected with the later driver versions of Inter Turbo Memory - I later. Any help would be appreciated.  No problem other than that - I can't use the laptop on battery with confidence.

All is well so far - no freeze no more! Now I can use my laptop because it was intended to be used - in battery mode - in the yard!  I wonder when Lenovo makes available this driver for their production. This problem of gel certainly did me a lot of grief.

  • Inspiron 7347 touchpad problems

I got my Inspiron 7347 for a few days.  When using the battery, the touchpad exposes some quirks that make this extremely difficult to use as a laptop P:C.

The mouse on the touchpad hangs intermittently, sometimes for several seconds.  This erratic behavior makes the mouse terribly difficult.

When scrolling with the mouse on a vertical scroll bar, right-click for the Office menu keeps popping up.  I have to move the mouse out of the scroll bar, left click to get rid of the right click menu and reposition the mouse on the scroll bar.  Sometimes this behavior is constant when you scroll a page long, it is impossible to use the mouse to scroll.

I searched this forum to find answers, but what I find is other users complain the same problems going back months.  This is one of the sons, started 09/11/2014, nearly two months ago:

    en.Community.Dell.com/.../19606250

I struggle to understand how Dell can sell and PC are provided with a well-known set of very serious problems of touchpad.  My guess is that a new driver is needed - NOW!

    All the answers?  Thank you.

The touchpad on my Inspiron 7347 was replaced under warranty.  A technician came to my house and swapped for a new touchpad.  Most of the problems that I had is now resolved.  He was not a software/driver issue in my case, but rather a faulty touchpad. The hesitation frequent moving of the mouse and gel disappeared.  The mouse is now pretty much behaving as expected.

A 'trick' I discovered - as the mouse moves when you click, I keep my finger of the right hand on the mouse pad and click on with my left hand.  Using two fingers tends to keep the stable mouse while clicking.  I think that the basic design of the mechanism of rattling is simply bad.  One of the technicians agree chat with me.  The trick of two fingers, it is achievable.

    Hey guys

Since yesterday I've been doing these stop errors. So far I have at least every hour. I tried to use CC cleaner, but it did not help. Also, I restored my computer to before that stop error started, but that did not help either. They are yet to reproduce. There is not really any model to them either, they occur when I use chrome, regarder watch movies, no matter what. So I have not isolated a specific program. The only thing that I think could be what is torrenting, I was downloading a lot recently. But I never download questionable torrents and I always do a complete norton of the system scan immediately after and nothing was found. So could someone please advise me on how to solve this problem! Thanks in adavnce!

    Hello

Try running the fix provided by Microsoft and check if the problem persists.

    Thanks in advance!

    Here is the solution!

Run mssconfig.exe (click the Start button, type msconfig, click msconfig.exe)

On the STARTUP tab, disable all programs except those required for your computer.

In my case (HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook) the following programs have been enabled (checked).
    Synaptics Pointing Device Driver<= the="" latptop="" key="">
    IDT Audio of PC<= the="" laptop="" sound="">
    HP CoolSense<= the="" laptop="" temperature="">
    MS Security Client<= microsoft="" security="">
    MS SkyDrive<= microsoft="" on-line="">

    EVERYTHING has been disabled (unchecked)

    Then I restarted the laptop.

The keyboard problem has been resolved and is been solved!

I learned from a friend of tech support that all other startup programs no longer of
grains which are responsible to speed up loading of the program if you want to use.
Deactivation of these nuclei may be added 1 or 2 seconds of loading time.  And frankly, I
did not notice any delay at all when I called is no longer in a program that has been pre-loaded.

Obviously, one of the nuclei was causing the keyboard problem.

    Total time invested; fifteen minutes.

Better that HP wanted to load to "clean" my laptop at $99!

  • See Agent compatibility with W2008

A lot of time since I am here all seems quite different to them. In any case, I have a view configuration when the server for connection etc was 3.1.2. These services a VDI environment site 3rd party but also I publish some servers of Terminal Server services. TS servers are W2008 R2 64 bit. They seem to work OK but the agent hangs intermittently and then within that server. What is the agent version 3.1.2 taken view supported with W2008 or do I need to upgrade the entire facility?

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for reporting on your results.
