SuperFetch, Client DNS stop working, blue screen blocks as well

First stop, I have a desktop HP with Windows Vista Home Premium SP2. He was just out of nowhere an error about 2 weeks code would come and tell me one of these services has stopped working. It allows me to close or to find a solution online. This happens every day. It is very random; I don't see a reason for it. I have especially Windows Mail, IE8 and sometimes open Windows Media Player when these things occur.

One thing I want to point out is that I did a diagnostic run on my computer and I got a BIOME-1 error code for my ram memory. All other material checks were very good. The computer is supposed to have 2 GB of ram, so is it possible if she works only on 1 GB etc... It is the cause of all my problems regarding windows applications crashing? Oh, also just about every day and sometimes more than once a day, I get the blue screen of death crash. I'm so confused, please help!

I am up to date on all the Windows updates, so I have SP2 and all updates since then. I also use my service of update and HP as well to ensure that my drivers are working all day.

Thank you
Will be

I put only 1 memory stick into the system and run the diagnotics. If it passes, take it out and plug the second stick and then re-run diagnosis. If it fails, get a new module or clean legs with an eraser to erase and blow your motherboard releasing sheep of dust (do not use compressed air can)

What is your system model?

Check with your manufacturer for newer drivers video card (special forces), known issues and
other possible problems - check also the video card and game maker forums. It can even be
a problem created by the interaction of two pilots (rather than the usual cause), perhaps the
video driver and a swap file error and other causes work together to create the problem.

Even if you have done some of these methods here is the complete troubleshooting tool while

Think video drivers especially if it may be others. Refer to the section of driver in my generic bluescreen

    BCCode: D1 0x000000D1

    Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

    • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
    • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
    • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

  • Startup error message: "Microsoft Mobile PC presentation adaptability Client has stopped working".

I recently tried to install SP2 to Vista, but it failed. I tried all the resolutions posted, but it is not always correct it. Later, I started my Vista (automatically restored to SP1) and it came with a mistake, "Microsoft Mobile PC presentation adaptability Client has stopped working". I tried searching on the net for similar problems, but I could not find any solution. He comes back every time you start, after that the background, shortcuts and the system tray loaded. This error started showing when I tried to install SP2, but he failed and returned to changes. I think that something could have gone wrong and that's why it shows this message.   Today I tried the system restore to the restore point JUST before I tried to install SP2, but it ALSO failed and brought me back to the State.
I'm not sure if it's related, but I'm also no longer be able to use Windows Media Center, as every time I start it I immediately receive the error message "Media Center has stopped working".

    Hi zensurferboi,

First, we will check if we get error safe mode, start the computer in Safe Mode reboot and press the F8 key for about four to five times. You'll see the Mode without failure listed in the advanced window options, select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.

Check if the error mode without failure.

If the startup error message does not appear safe mode, I recommend you to place the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem occurs in a clean boot state.

To put the computer in a clean boot state, follow these steps:

    Perform a clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    a. log in the computer using an account with administrator rights.

    b. click Start , type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

    c. under the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the Load Startup items check box.
(The box use the Boot file is not available.)

    d. on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft services check box and then click on disable all.

Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    e. click OK, and then click restart.

Once the computer restarts, check if you get the error of starting.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. Click Start , type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER.
    2. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.
    3. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

If you don't receive the start-up error message after placing the computer in a clean boot state, follow the steps below in the link to diagnose the program or service that is causing the problem:

  • Re: My new C50 of Satellite does not work / blue screen

    Hello

My mother just bought a new computer. We began to set it up (hopefully, this is the correct English word) for the first time. The operating system has stopped working after a few minutes.
I explain (I'm not very good at this ^^).

I turned it on, the computer asked a few things like what color, we would like to be, give a name to the computer. And then he Laura to be connected to the internet. I tried to do, but it did not work.
So now, I'm just a big blue screen and nothing I can do. I can't go back to the first step, and I can't move forward because there is nothing else than this big blus screen.

Can someone help or not the slightest idea what should I do?

    Thank you for your help

PS: English is not my mother tongue, sorry for the errors of language.

    Hello

Is there a button NEXT to proceed to the next step in the implementation?

Press the power button and hold the button until the phone switch. It again, and I hope that you will be able to continue the installation of Windows.
What I always do is to finish the configuration without WLAN settings. Later, when Windows is configured and fully charged, I put WIFI password and everything is OK.

  • STOP: 0x0000007B, blue screen error at startup of Windows XP.

Original title: XP does not open in any safe mode.

XP does not open in any safe mode.  It just restarts over and over until I stop.  I have tryie "disable automatic restart on system failure" and the blue screen had these codes; I guess that's the BSOD, although I don't know what BSOD is right now.  The codes were - STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78AA524, 0 x 0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).  I conclude that this indicates a person well informed of what is wrong, but I don't know what it is or how to fix it.  I consider myself a person of intermediate level; I'm comfortable with some things and others that I'm not.  I hesitate to make the adjustments that I don't know what the results will be.  I do not experiment.

Before that, my laptop Toshiba L300 (about a year) worked very well. I think there a virus as a "window of 11 news" kept popping up in Internet Explorer.  I ran the Windows scan and it found nothing.  I tried to run a software check Norton which is supposed to run in safe mode and that's when it happened.  I have perhaps inadvertently done something wrong; I don't know what.  Is this enough information for someone to help me to solve this problem, or do I need to take it to someone more clever am I?

    Thanks, Al H

    Hello

    That means STOP 0x7B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

    1. first of all, you can restart the PC and press F8 to enter the Advanced Options Menu Windows XP. Once the menu is displayed, select 'last good known Configuration ". See if Windows XP starts correctly. If it restarts the PC again and make sure it's normally.

    2. the second thing you want to do is to enter the recovery console and run a disk check. Here's how to enter with your Windows XP CD recovery console:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/RCONSOLE.htm

Once in the recovery console you want to type

    CHKDSK c: /r

and then press ENTER. Enable ChkDsk to run and fix the errors. Restart the PC once done and see if it works now.

    3. If it still does not work, restart the PC and enter the Recovery Console. Once in the type Recovery Console the following pressing ENTER after each line:

    Fixboot

    FIXMBR

Once done exit Recovery Console, restart the PC. See if it works now.

    I'm too confused.

I have XP and 7 on each of my partitions on a hard drive (I have partitioned my hard drive, put xp on one partition, and then through XP, I put windows 7 on another partition)

I don't mind having all reinstall again and get rid once for all from XP to windows7 on its own, but is there a way where I can deal with this problem instead of the hassle of reinstall?

More details: first time it happened when I tried to install PC TOols antivirus, (I had to try pc tools because Avira used to complete in some parts of the installation and could never fill.) But I got rid of pctools and put avast, but even that, whenever avast update, avast, then crashes

AND when I am browsing, it usually goes in this screen blue when I try to watch videos, I don't remember the time I was able to watch a video in peace last week, (Oh is also worth mentioning is that he also refused to install adobe flash on the adobe website so I had to get an installer for the adobe flash software and installed it instead.)

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E which is also 0x1000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. TO
interpret, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0 x 80000002: STATUS_DATATYPE_MISALIGNMENT indicates an unaligned data reference was encountered.

  • 0 x 80000003: STATUS_BREAKPOINT indicates a breakpoint or ASSERTION was met when no kernel debugger was attached to the system.

  • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

  • For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in theinc directory
the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the
    • Reference of the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2
(the address of the exception) must identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If the exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system
has been launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly,
Make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Make sure all new hardware that is installed is listed in the
    • List of Microsoft Windows Marketplace tested products.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A service driver or defective peripheral system can be
    • responsible for this error. Hardware problems, such as the incompatibilities of the BIOS, memory, conflicts
    • and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable
or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during startup
sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use safe
Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the system startup procedure
in Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third remote
control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the boot of the computer service
by using the Recovery Console, and then by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the
device or the driver that generated the bug check 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You should also
Run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system.
For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or
Once the installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and system
BIOS incompatibilities. For problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with the absence of disc
space, reduce the number of files on the disk drive hard target. Find and delete any temporary
the files that you do not have to have files hidden Internet, backup application and.chkfiles files that
contain fragments of file saved to disk scans. You can also use another hard drive with more drive
free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

First of all Hello to all,

I ve just joined and hope that someone can help. I have a Satellite A60 which began to close and coming up with this message on a blue screen...

A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The problem seems to be caused by the following file: Ati2vag. The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the driver itself or incorrect programming hardware device driver.
Please check with your hardware device vendor updates the driver. Technical information: dump Stop: 0x000000ea (0xff332da8, 0xffbb59bo, 0xfaf9fcbc, 0x00000001) Ati2vag beginning of physical dump. END

had this laptop for 10 months and it started recently and stops now 2 or 3 times a night, thank you in advance for any help.

    Hello

I have the same opinion. Try to start the unit in safe mode and remove the display driver. Restart the device and install driver designed by Toshiba. If there is no success please write again.

  • How can I fix stop error (blue screen) occurs whenever I try to open a link of U-Tube? I am running Windows XP.

Whenever I receive an email containing a link to U-Tube, or try to connect to a position of U-Tube by link via my browser, it starts to open up and then freezes. The computer shuts down after briefly showing a blue error screen.

This happens if the browser is IE, Firefox, Google, or Google Chrome.
I tried the system restore, but it will not go to any control point before this event began, about four weeks ago.
I also tried Mats_Run.Codec.exe, MS Automated Troubleshooting service, nothing helps.

You would get further faster and with less effort, if we know a little more about your system and you can eliminate the 'try' things.

What is your system brand and model?

What is your version of XP and the Service Pack?

You will always be to 'catch' the BSOD if you do this:

XP is configured to restart automatically on some system failures, you will need to disable this feature for the information of the blue screen of death (BSOD) will remain on the screen for you to see.

You must also configure XP to create a memory for each BSOD dump file, so you'll have a crash dump file to watch later if debugging more is necessary.

If your system crashes later, the information you need will always be on the screen and then you can use the information in the dump files memory to understand what the problem is and fix it.

Disable automatic restart in case of system error

XP restarts on system failure, so automatically configure your system so it does not, then you can see the error message.

Configure your system does not automatically restart on system failure

Right click my computer, properties, advanced, startup and recovery settings.

    In the system failure section:

Put a check mark in the box "write an event to the system log.
Put a check mark in the box "send an administrative alert.
    Uncheck 'automatically restart '.

In the Write debugging information section select:

    Partial dump (64 KB)

    Set the directory small dumpster:

    %SystemRoot%\Minidump

    Click OK, OK.

    Restart your computer.

The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:
Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).
Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.
If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.
Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

This sounds like a video driver issue, so we can see what you have for your system, audio and video drivers.

If you need help to know what your video driver and audio situation, and where to get possible improvements to your video and sound drivers, follow these steps:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

For more audio information, expand components, click on Sound Device, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.

If you want to get more information on your BSOD, follow these steps:

    Download BlueScreenView here:
Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files.
If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).
BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files.  Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).
Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.  Open BSOD.txt with a text editor, copy the text and paste it in your next reply.
Here's an example of report ASB to a single BSOD I initiated on purpose that indicates the cause of the accident as the pilot i8042prt.sys belonging to Microsoft Corporation:

Yesterday my Vista Home Premium has been updated by Microsoft through the automatic update process. After the update and reboot network stopped working. I was able to trace this DNS no longer works. I was unable to solve the problem until I supported updates, after which the system returns to normal operation.

Never install party hardware driver updates 3rd through Windows updates.

Go to the manufacturer's website, instead.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Vista will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.
    Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.
    See you soon.
